Que Pasa! Does that name look familiar? Well it should because you can find their products at local supermarkets. But at their plant site where al the wonderful products are shipped out from, there is a small Deli, Mercado, and Tortilleria.

In this unassuming, hidden store you can find a variety of Mexican goods from salsa to burritos to fresh tortillas to local Mexican drinks to Mexican glassware to cookbooks to piñatas! I don't know too much about Mexican cuisine and cooking but it really seems as if you can find everything you need here!

The workers at this store are super friendly and very helpful, especially for the clueless ones, like me. I came here to specifically buy their salsa, guacamole and fresh tortilla chips. The Salsa is super fresh and has all the vibrant tastes of tomatoes, cilantro, onions and YUM! The Guacamole is on the expensive side but it's super creamy and fresh and has little chunks of gauc in it, the way i love it! Their tortilla chips are the best, light and not oily, crispy but not hard, they are different than the typical store bought ones but definitely better tasting and worth the drive. And to end off this yumminess, a Mexican coke, which is made with sugar cane instead of white sugar. If you're a coke enthusiast like me, you'll appreciate this change. Love it! Next time I'll try out their Mexican Hot Chocolate.. Mmm...

They offer a lot of other types of pre-made foods such as quesadillas, enchilada, burritos, tacos, and more from the deli. My boyfriend bought a burrito and it was packed with rice, chicken, cheese and the tortilla was soft.

There's a small eating area as well, just in case you can't wait for the drive home to eat all this deliciousness.

Overall, if you're in the area or searching for some authentic Mexican goods, stop by Que Pasa!

This is a pretty off the map place that is mainly a tortilla (and Tortilla chip) factory with a small outlet with other Mexican products. They have a nice little Mexican deli with a menu in the overhead. The food is made as soon as you order it. The food itself tastes unauthentic and pretty bland. There is something about eating Mexican food without any real authentic flavour to it. It seems very odd. Don't get me wrong, the food is fresh and worth it...just unauthentic.

This is my go to place when buying tortillas. They have great prices and the quality is great. It's hard enough to find corn tortillas anywhere in Vancouver...every time I have ever asked for them I get a clueless look from people at local grocery stores. Unbelievable. That is why this place is a godsend. Maybe it's because there aren't many Latinos in BC...I don't know.

Overall, if you can find it, come. It's worth the trip.

Those small tortillas you get at Dona Cata can be bought here!!

The Horchata that you've probably been accustomed to drinking on a hot summers day can also be bought here.  They also have a mix that is sugar free, which leaves you the choice of adding your own sweetener.

Tamales, want to make your own?  They have all the fixings.

So if you love everything culinary Mexican.  Here is where you can find all that you need.  Including their famous taco chips and salsa's.

They also do take outs, caters and there is a little area where you can order and eat your food.  From Tamales to taco's to tortilla soup with a wedge of lime.  The food is all very good here.

Maybe not as good as Dona Cata, or La Taqueira, but very close.
And they're the best in Richmond.  Bar none!

I was informed that eating here is like eating happiness.

And I thought.  Yeah,  Mexican food can be like eating happiness.  Que Pasa?

So the next time you think south of the US border.  Ask yourself: Que Pasa!

The search for a molinillo (which is a Mexican hot chocolate whisk, FYI) brought me to this part of town. They were really friendly on the phone and even reserved a few molinillos for me just in case they'd be selling like hot tamales. If anyone's interested, they were $5.75/ea. Well, I got what I wanted and perused through the rest of their small Mexican grocery and deli section. There are some hot sauces, salsas, sodas (they've got Peruvian Inca Cola!! - exclaimed the bf), candy, various canned/jarred goods, and of course the in-house Que Pasa tortilla chips. I don't really know my Mexican groceries, but seems like a small but comprehensive selection to me. For what it's worth, I thought the prices were a bit expensive for the deli food because it's all pre-made and is nuked to warm. And besides, most of the ingredients are from the factory next door, so shouldn't the prices be a wee bit cheaper?! But anyway, I digress...

I got the Tapa Tacos (two 4" tacos - $5). The chicken was dry and bland, but the beef & bean was decent (tasted mostly bean though...). The fillings were piled high, and I piled them even higher with the self-serve salsa bar (hot please!). Not as flavourful as La Taqueria, but makes up for it in quantity. I had some of bf's tamale. Was pretty dry and didn't taste corn - bland and meh.

The staff were all super friendly while we were there and patiently answered our questions - we were so indecisive on which soda to get! Would return for tacos if I were ever in the neighbourhood. There is a dine-in area, and also a few picnic tables outside.

A super secret place where the Que Pasa manufacturing plant is located; there's a self serve deli connected to it.

It's a small place, serving fresh salsas, and Mexican deli items. A small shop is connected to it, in which you can buy sauces, salsas, and other Mexican products.

Their deli menu consists of burritos, fajitas, quesadillas, tamales, tacos, and tortilla soup. They make everything to order, and then there's sauce and garnish station, so you can add even more salsa to your items!

Drinks are of a Mexican selection too: Jarritos, sangria (non alcoholic), Mexican hot chocolate, and Licaudos, which is a fresh fruit blended drink.

Prices are reasonable, and there's also a free parking lot.  Pick up a bag of the Que Pasa tortilla chips while you're there too!

Always get my Mexican goods here. Never a problem with freshness. Their poco de gallo is yummy as is the guac.

Looking for an authentic Mexican Experience in all places Richmond? Do you like to find hidden gems? You've come to the right place. This little deli is located just off of No. 5 Rd, south of Steveston Hwy in Richmond. It's actually in the main Que Pasa factory and open to the public.

Along with meals, you can purchase authentic Que Pasa products and many Mexican groceries.

The service is friendly, the food is fresh, tasty, and value priced. The variety of homemade salsas also brings a smile to your face.

Seating is limited on the inside but outdoor seating is also available. Parking is plentiful and free.
