This is the best Vietnamese restaurant I've tried in the area. Service is excellent, food is fantastic. My kids love this place too. Usual favourites are very well done, and the chicken wings are amazing. On one visit the owner insisted we try the banana caramel cake that his wife had made... OMG was it good. Definitely worth dropping in (and they do take out too!).
They do have a terrible website though (!!?) -

In terms of food this place has a lot to learn from it's thousands of other vietnamese/thai food counterparts across the GTA. I made a point to try as much as I possibly could during my visit which included spring rolls, salad rolls, chicken wings, quail, pho boa (vietnamese beef soup), and pad thai. Of that list the only thing I found to be of outstanding quality was the chicken wings.
The location was nice. A little too cachet for a restaurant I think with it's dark sign and blinded windows. There is certainly room for improvement there but it doesn't hurt the experience.
The service was great. She listened. She charged what the menu said the food cost. So I tipped her well and left happy.
Can't speak for the rest of Brantford as this is really the only restaurant I've been to in the city but in my opinion I'll be saving my Vietnamese/Thai food binge fulfillment until I am in Toronto.
