Arrived here with limited time but managed to explore their shop and eat at their restaurant. Overlooks the Okanagan Lake, with beautiful views. There was a wedding taking place when we were there. What a perfect location!!

Great winery, free tastings available,as well as 3 choices for $5.  The shop also has lots of other items to purchase-crackers, cheeses, books, and other wine related items. There's a patio (with a great view too) where you can consume the wine bought and enjoy with the cheese/crackers.

So glad we visited it, and I'm sure I will back!!

Family-owned for 3 generations, Quails' Gate is one of the premier wineries of British Columbia's Okanagan Valley. The Stuart family has produced a number of notable and award-winning wines under their Quails' Gate label. My favorites include the Family reserve Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and the Old Vines Foch.

While at the winery, be certain to stay for dinner at the Old Vines Restaurant, one of the finest culinary experiences in BC wine country. The wine list includes a number of library wines from years past that are no longer available in the retail wine shop. During major holidays, the restaurant usually offers a special multi-course prix-fix menu that showcases both the chef's talent and the producers of locally-grown sustainable ingredients.

This place is worth the stop and the 5$ tasting fee just for their surprising Chardonnay "Stewart Family Reserve" 2008, which is very different from the usual chardonnays with its (warning) strong oak flavour and a bit of creamy vanilla feeling to it.

Also tried their chenin blanc, and their blend of chasselas, pinot gris and pinot blanc, but I forgot those already.

Wonderful wine. White wines are good here.  Reds nice but I prefer their whites.
There is a beautiful view of the lake from the restaurant and the winery which overlooks the rows of grapes growing in the sun.

Again, another wedding at another winery. It just seems to be a great place to have a wedding!

Lots of goodies to choose from in their shop for picnics if you happen to drive by.  Get some cheese, some crackers, a picnic basket and a bottle of wine to create some great memories.

This is my favourite wine tour to take when up in the Okanagan. They give you a brief history of the winery and fully explain why they plant each type of grapes in the spot that they're in. You go through the processing plant and they show all of the different machines and the bottling area. Then it's off to a lower part of their fields and then the best part, tasting!! My favourite samples at the tasting bar are the ice wines in the chocolate cups.
The shop has not only tons of products available, but also a very knowledgeable and helpful staff. You can purchase fresh bread and cheeses there and the little shop where you start the tour has sandwiches and snacks available if you're hungry but don't wish to eat a sit-down meal at the restaurant.

Had a fantastic lunch up here.  The view and the food were both spectacular and capture the essence of the Okanagan Valley.  The waitress was really nice, timely and very helpful. Great time!  Highly recommend it to anyone ... next is Mission Hills!

Wine sampler with lunch was a great way to taste a variety of their wines.  Liked most of their white wines.

We didn't manage to do a tasting here as we were hungry & ate at their Old Vines restaurant instead, but we did come up after our meal to buy two bottles of the Chenin Blanc - the best BC wine I've ever had. They had no problem locating a couple of chilled bottles for us.

Gorgeous vineyard with fantastic lake views. Definitely a must on any Oakanagan wine tour.

Was there for fall wine festival. Views will knock your socks off!  Beautiful.  Tried severla wine tastings, they bring 3 wine glasses floating on metal  carriers to the table - fun.  Steak was aweseome.  Bottle of foche out of this world.  make SURE u visit Mission Hill winery next door, the views are even more spectacular.  Try the Oculus - OMG.

I'm not speaking about the wineries. They are very beautiful to see with the view on the lake in the backdrop. I'd like to speak about a wine I bought in the shop. Actually, I've bought two wines. I'll update the review later when I'll taste the second wine. The one I bought, a red wine, ''old vines Foch''. They say it has won awards, prizes. The description is awesome but what a disappointment. It is absolutely sour, pungent, nothing I expected of a wine with subtle and balanced flavors. It reminds me a cheap table wine that I tasted in France for a bottle at 3 or 4 euros. This one costs about $19. This wine is not worth spending a cent and I'll tell you what I'm thinking about the second one. I'm not an expert in wine but enough to imagine that most of us won't like this kind of wine which is too bitter.

The white wine Dry Riesling vintage 2009, is good. It is more better than the red wines. Though, I regret that I've sot seen any organic wines. Even if it is good, I recommend strongly to your palate to taste the wines from different countries. The Riesling that has origins in Germany and Alsace stay my preferred one. It is hard to be unfaithful to its lover lol

I loved the winery. I toured the winery in a wine tour and found it absolutely interesting I thought it would be boring but loved it. l also loved tasting the delicious wines in the store and bought many bottles. The staff are friendly in the store and helpful. I bought many bottles for wedding gifts too. Plus it's in a beautiful location you cant beat definitely worth a visit and I find it much more intimate than mission hills up the street.

We didn't take a winery tour but we ate at the Old Vines restraunt and the meal and wines were delicious. Friendly staff, good atmosphere, and a great view of the vineyard.
