Dr. Kiem Schutter was excellent in his diagnosis and walked me through problem solving solutions to keep me on track for my marathon! Thanks Dr. Schutter.

Qi's got some good things going for it: great location, ample parking, good website. Aesthetically speaking, I'm only a fan of the sign, a beacon of blue awning from the street. Once inside though, it's quite cluttered. The waiting room is tiny and full of news bulletins, a mishmash of magazines and a whole schwack of fertility aids for sale. If I didn't know better, I would think this is all they do here. But that's just not so. I've been for acupuncture and for traditional Chinese medicine treatment with Dr. Kelly Cmolik. I believe, much like hair stylists, it's important to find the right fit for your needs. When I originally called to inquire, the receptionist was fantastic at recommending Kelly. I know there a number of other doctors practicing out of this location as well.
Outside of the recommendation, reception staff are hit and miss: they've called to let me know when a prescription is ready once, but another time they did not. The resulting confusion with the Beijing Trading Company, who fill the prescriptions was both embarrassing and annoying, and when the dust settled, both the pharmacist and me realized that we only had the receptionist's forgetfulness to blame. Sometimes there's someone at the desk, others there is not. They leave for lunch hours, making prescription pick up a little difficult. And there's been a few times where they haven't picked up the phone. I do however, think they do a great job with their email appointment reminder system and their email receipt delivery.
