Pyramids Halal products is an Egyptian wholesale/retail grocery market on 17th Ave SE that proudly serves up 100% Halal products.
Not knowing exactly what that meant, I looked it up and found it to mean "legal/permissible according to Islamic law". Now that that's cleared up, I may as well tell you what kind of 100% Halal products that are available.
They feature a vast selection of canned goods, juices, spices, fish, and rice. There's a dairy counter with milk, eggs, and cheeses. They also have a large meat counter with top quality Alberta beef, as well as chicken, lamb, and goat meat. All 100% Halal, and all very reasonably priced.
All in all, a welcoming and friendly place to shop.
