We were there in September for a small staff event. I must tell you that the food was awesome......really awesome. Greaat service, attentive, not fawning.....
Nice fun atmosphere. Will go back again. -

This is a cozy place.
First of all the atmosphere here is pretty good. It is full of dark tones and wood...the lighting is perfect. It is beyond comfortable. It reminds me that I should try and spend a little bit more time here.
The food is great. The menu is extensive and easily better than the average pub for food. It is nice to be able to have choices instead of going for the regular. The beer selection is fantastic. They have quite a list and the beer on tap list is equally impressive.
The service is great. I always seem to have an issue with the service in Richmond's bars. They always seem to be disgruntled and unhappy to serve anyone. That is not the case here. They are friendly and engaging and make you feel right at home!Listed in: Richmond's Bar Scene...or lack…

Small pub, but great service!
I don't know of a better cozy pub to have a good time with three or more friends to just hang and have great appys, a few good drinks, or a glass, and just hang and absorb the atmosphere complete with HD big screens.
We have all ways liked the appys here. $0.25 wing Wednesdays, yam fries, spinach dip, prawns, lamb, extreme nachos? -- you name it they have it. Generous portions and a well dressed wine and beer list make the evening with good friends. Really busy by 9PM, but that's what Hump Day Pub Night is all about --- noisy chat about what led up to.... and what to get over by the weekend.
I don't believe that they changed Joe's Garage into such a nice place...(renovated for the summer of 2009) bravo! We used to come here with the boys for HBOPPV or UFCPPV before it was renovated, and it all ways seemed to satisfy us, but now it's even better.
Thanks guys!!! ... just watch your fingers and toes when you come to take away the empty plates! -

This bar is a bit on the smaller side but it's still a lot of fun. It gets crowded pretty quickly, especially on their bingo nights.
The lot is fairly small and being such a busy area parking gets full real quick. The alternative is to park across the street at Blundell Centre.
I believe this intersection is also the home to the highest amount of crashes and I certainly believe it, I've witnessed at least 3 major collisions while drinking here.
Staff are friendly but when it gets packed sometimes it's a bit harder to get a drink.
