Not all men are created equal...neither do Blenz coffee shops. Ahh...if only work places would give out Blenz gift cards instead of Starbucks...
Why did I choose this one in particular? They offer free Krisda, a stevia sweetener, along with the Splendas and whatnots.
I love Blenz in general though, as they offer a variety of healthy drinks. My personal favorite is their Matcha protein shake (perfect after workout drink) and unsweetened Matcha Latte with almond milk (perfect alternative to coffee....although don't expect it to jolt you into reality after partying all night.)
This spot is cozy as well and a good location to chill at during summer time. You get the most sun from it's corner location. It's always packed with people on their laptops though, especially during weekends AND most especially during summer weekends! So grab your tents and wait outside for this place to open to save yourself a spot inside.
They are a bit pricey, I admit, but I would choose Blenz over Starbucks anytime! -

Meh - I find Blenz coffee and americano to be overrated. It's too strong and bitter, BUT this location is only 1 block from my house, so it tends to be my weekend go to.

Its the closest thing to my work place..
Its super busy most of the time when I pass by or am in there.
The pastries are kind of ridiculously priced, but thankfully I dont crave them.
Great place to get a coffee around that area. Right next to the Greens if you need to do some grocery shopping too! -

This particularly location at the corner of Broadway and Maple is a nice one. It is relaxed, clean, stylish, and open until 11pm. In the evenings it's usually easy to find street parking. There's a variety of seating options (sofa, armchair, chair, counter) and table configurations. The decor makes prominent use of wood and the low-hanging lights add reading capability and a warm ambiance. If I need a place to plug in or scribble, I don't mind this spot.
But, as usual, Blenz-brand coffee just isn't good, and this location has done well to maintain uniformity on that flavor front. -

First, speaking of positive points, the place is clean, well decorated, with proper lightning. Further, there are many plugs all over the place makes it a good place to connect the laptop.
My negative comments are applicable to all Blenz places. The internet connection is terrible. You need internet tickets to access internet for two hours. But they do not work reliably. If you disconnect, then you cant use the ticket to connect again. With many coffee places offering free internet, I do not understand the reason behind this policy. Considering the fact that blenz has no competetive advantage over other places like starbucks etc. in terms of coffee quality or price ( The only thing I can think of is that it is a Canadian company ), I usually pass on Blenz and go to other places. -

Being a studious university student, this place is one of my favourite places to study. Not only does it have ample plugs for just about everyone's laptops, but it also has a well thought-out seat layout. Simply put, it's a great atmosphere to have a drink with some company if you're in the area, or to simply study till your butt is sore. Never too crowded as some coffee shops get and situated in a neighbourhood where distractions are conveniently far away enough so as one is not too easily distracted. The staff is fantastic; cordial and friendly. Great atmosphere, great service, great people, great drinks. Come through, have an espresso, browse the Internet and lounge on the comfy couches.
