This restaurant by far has the best foods (not just oysters, my friends; they have seafoods to steaks to burgers to homemade desserts) in the North Shore!!!
I went for fish & chips and the waiter was right when he told me they do comfort foods but do it right from scratch (the fish was like tempura battered and was really crispy and thin). So I ended up having their homemade bread pudding and I think I'll drive out to H.B. just for that. It was that good~~~
Anyways, for those looking for a great spot to eat in the North Shore, this is it. -

Not the snazziest place around but the pizza is good.
Yummy salads and a small selection of desserts and drinks. Friendly service.Listed in: Italiano, Tower of Pizza

Anyone watch that wild weatherman video from the east coast during that snowstorm? The classic "Oh Boy." quote sums up this place.
I travel quite often to the sunshine coast to visit family so I've meandered around Horse Shoe Bay. Usually I go to Ya Ya's Oyster bar because it's consistently great, but my brother wanted pizza so we tried this place. They had pizza by the slice under the glass but they may as well as called it painted cardboard in terms of how unappetizing it looked. But my bro was buying and I was hungry, so what the heck.
I knew I was in for a 'treat' when the guy said it would be a few minutes while he reheats the pizza. "Oh Boy.." The taste matches the decor, grungy. -

Dry, reheated and rubbery pizza. Yum? Go for it if you want something really cheap and quick pre-ferry, I guess.
