Great Service, and wonderful if u want to sit in sun, with a great view from their terrace, and enjoy a beer.
Their french onion soup was really good and they said they make it with local beer cooked into the boullion, but otherwise the food is pretty plain.
Though the sweet potatoe fries did look awesome.
Essentially its an Irish pub, so why are u eating here in french Quebec City anyway. -

I would give this place 2 stars because the Irish Stew that I had was fine - nothing spectacular but fine for the location (next door to the hotel) on the main drag in old town Quebec. But all the girls' food was bad, dry Bison burger, microwaved chicken in the chicken sandwich (The Belfast) and brie that just didn't smell right! The Dublin burger was equally as nasty, warm and a patty that felt it had also been microwaved and the bun was from sometime last week we think. One bad meal out of the week in Canada ain't all that bad but be warned about this place. A burger or chicken sandwich should be bog standard fare so if you don't care about that what do you really care about? Sadly with the location and clientele this place will probably survive for a while but there are so many good choices on this same street that serve well cared for dishes at OK prices.

This was an a very popular bar when I was there, probably due to the nice, downtown corner location. I managed to get outdoor seating, as desired. The deck is packed and the tables are abutting one another (just an FYI)
The menu didn't scream Quebec to me, it was sandwiches/soups/fries etc and didn't seem to have a "signature" menu item or feel.
Perhaps if I was there just to hangout, have a nightlife experience, or drank beer at all, I would have been more excited.
I did enjoy the French Onion soup, but I wouldn't say it was unique. It was OK for what it was, maybe a little over priced for the burger options.
I could have had a Crepe if only I had explored the street a little more! -

Went with 4 other people. The best part about this restaurant is that the setting is very beautiful, especially the lower level.
Service was pretty attentive and friendly and prices were pretty reasonable.
On to the food.. My vegetarian sandwich was tasteless (no sauce and no salt/pepper it seems) and in general a pain to eat because of the bread they use and how they fill it. I liked that they used artichokes, but aside from that, nothing much to say. The fries that came with it felt like it had been sitting around for a couple of hours before they served it.
From what I gathered the others thought their food (burgers/chicken and pizza) were just OK.
The one positive note about the food: their Snakebite beer is very good. It's probably worth to go have a couple of those and just skip on the food. -

Don't get confused! This is not just a bar it's also a restaurant. I personally think that the hamburgers here are amazing. This restaurant deserves 5 starts because it has a very good view and location. The service was amazing! It was packed in the restaurant everyone eating and some drinking but I still got my dinner in under 15 minutes. I also think that the decor is really good. The place isn't really a fancy place. I feel like it's casual. Some people think that this restaurant is fast food but it's not really, it's just a nice place to have burgers or a drink.

We found it a little sad that a supposedly Irish pub was playing dance and general Top 40 satellite radio junk. Stole away from the atmosphere immediately, as anyone who's been to authentic Irish pubs will understand. The staff didn't like us walking about and checking out the decor, which is weird for a tourist stop. Food alright, house beer flat. Ultimate Irish fail.
