This shop in heritage row (Beatty Street) in Crosstown Vancouver is great!
The customer service is consistently great and their product lines are always unique and very interesting! The last time I went in I was offered a nespresso and this is where I tried it for the first time. this was a great way to make me feel more at home and their autmosphere is a very warm and welcoming.
Every time I go to provide, it is a new and unique experience!
Thanks for all of the consistancy in making a unique shopping experience guys! -

SO many cool artists featured in this store. The prices are pretty steep for stuff, but each piece in the store is like a heirloom you'd pass onto to your grandchildren who in turn could go attend an Antique Roadshow and make some serious coin for these pieces once they peak in their collector appreciation.
The customer service is really great and most helpful. I was wrong to think that all high-end stores such as this mostly have terrible service if you look like anything less than royalty. These guys are so nice and you can tell they all love where they work by how knowledgeable they are about each artist and designer they feature.
They are also one of the only places in Vancouver who sell Caleb Siemon glass pieces that are absolutely beautiful. I paid a leg to get a vase and I'm saving my arms for this store when I'll go back to buy 2 of this artist's glass lamps :)Listed in: I HEART Shopping!

The fact that I'm no Martha Stewart is no secret - I guess I was born without the home-decor gene. I find the whole thing - paint colours, window dressings, matching loveseats - totally mundane. And that's why I was surprised to find a quasi-furnishings store I actually liked.
Granted, Provide in Crosstown carries more than just fixtures and accessories for your abode. Among the designer espresso makers are some pretty fashionable clothing items, which, for me, broke up the monotony of the selection of housewares (lamps, vases, tables, cushions, etc.). Someone must have had people like me in mind when they came up with the concept for this store.
On to the fashion! I found some beautiful (although pretty high-end) tees by designer James Perse as well as some local style, like Vancouver's own Shereen De Rousseau's gorgeous cross-platform jewellery. -

Slowly but surely, this end of downtown Vancouver is becoming a hot spot for lovely boutiques. cafes and restaurants and the inclusion of Provide home decor store in that group is a great choice.
The general vibe of the store is very bright and open but still warm and cozy. Soft, luxe James Perse casual wear for the ladies and the gentleman inn your life will be welcome with very open arms as a gift for someone else or yourself. Unique pillows and throws will have you wrapping yourself up on the couch and hibernating next to your decadently scented boutique candle from Europe and a cup of Nespresso from that handy little machine that spits out espresso exactly how and when you want. The aforementioned scene is courtesy of Provide and there is more where that came from.
Royal Doulton tableware, Niche Modern lighting, Dwell and Publique Living decor items from gorgeous picture frames done in stone to massive and stunning ceramic bowls, you are sure to be entranced by some very fab finds at Provide. -

Tucked-away on the start of Beatty in Crosstown, across from Chambar and beside Fatburger it's home decor with a flare.
Think of James Pearse casual t-shirts, sweats and that pancake-waffle material pajamas, cashmere and Marino wool throws, candles, wine decanters, vases and art paintings. Best of all? They sell Shereen De Rousseau, my favourite jewellery designer. I'm not sure what line of candles they were, but they have the most amazing scented candles and there are a lot of places that sell candles. They also sell Nespresso, the little Italian machine that makes individual cups and you just pop the little espresso packet in the machine? So neat and easy. -

The moment I walked into Provide I inhaled the most amazing aroma. I immediately had to know it's source and was informed that no it wasn't an essential oil, but an exquisite candle. A True Grace candle to be precise and after hmm'ing and haa'ing over the selection and what mood we wanted to create my boyfriend and I went for calming and agreed on the White Tea. This candle is currently lit and is wafting notes of vanilla, lime, bergamot and rose throughout my condo. So very heavenly.
As I poked around the shop Robert, one of the owners, informed me that I had just missed Colin and Justin, as in Home Heist/ How not to Decorate Colin and Justin, by mere minutes. Apparently they had also eaten brunch at Cafe Medina. This may be no biggie to Vancouverites, but I may have freaked just a little. These guys are awesome!
Back to the shop I absolutely could've spent a pretty penny on some seriously beautiful, modern home designs from a cube shaped floor lamp (if only I had the space) to the wool placemats. Robert was also kind enough to demonstrate the Nespresso machines by making us a couple of cappuccinos. It's quite refreshing to find Provide lacked the pretentiousness that is so often found in shops like this. I can't wait for my next Vancouver visit! -

Immediately from street scape PROVIDE HOME caught my eye. A sophisticated white interior complimented with local fir paneling and a unique custom line of fir furniture. A modern interior that features unique home accessories from some of my favorites: beautiful modern pottery from Rina Menardi to hand blown glass light fixtures from Niche Modern, to glass candle holders from Laurence Brabant, Paris, or the glass collection from Anna Torfs or Lawrence. For those who appreciate the art of Pottery, each of the pieces produced by Rina Menardi are sculptural pieces, seeing them in context with modern furniture will give you a good sense of how they compliment modern interiors, even the family at Inform Interiors showcases them in their B&B Italia room settings. I first came across the beautiful hand blown light fixtures in New York when I attended ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) and was in awe of their modern translation of the traditional exposed bulb, what a pleasant surprise to see that Provide Home introduced this New York design company to Vancouver by providing a couple of my favorite restaurants Chambar & Medina Cafe with their accent lighting.
In contrast to a previous negative comment about this retail space being "pretentious?" - it does take a sophisticated eye to appreciate good design. There are no knock offs or cheap representations here, only fine investment pieces that are all about quality. What I love about this neighborhood boutique is that the Owners Robert Quinnell and David Keeler feature a number of local designers and artists as well. Too often our local talents are missed, Provide Home provides a platform to showcase the local creative community. Check out the jewelry designed by Shereen de Rousseau or the resin vases of Martha Sturdy or the stationary designs of The Pink Door.
As an interior designer constantly sourcing unique product for clients, what a pleasant surprise to see this lovely modern interior become my lifestyle specialty boutique right here in Vancouver.
Provide Home carries a selection of unique home accessories that exclusive to their showroom - some of my favorites to add to my list above ADONDE, TICHELARR ceramics, DAFF FELT, CALEB SIEMEN, MAISON ET OBJET to EX VETO, ENO, MUUTO to JUDY ROSS textiles.Listed in: MODERN VANCOUVER - Home Decor…
