    Fantastic. Amazing. Wonderful.

Had the soup du jour (tomato-based seafood chowder) - I enjoyed how they partially pureed the stock to make it thicker, without adding a roux or cream - so healthy! The little chunks of seafood were plentiful and cooked perfectly.

The antipasti around the table were equally delicious - the meatballs were moist and completely melted in your mouth, the sausages had the perfect mix of spice to flavour, and the marinated mushrooms were incredibly tasty.

I went for the trio of seafood salad which came with lightly seared tuna, salmon and prawns. No dry/previously frozen prawns on that plate! They weren't chewy or overdone; delicious! The tuna was still rare in the middle and the salmon was done to perfection. It really did melt in your mouth.

Raspberry creme brulee. Need I say more? Wow. Try it- our server (who was so sweet) said it was the best creme brulee in town, and I can attest to that!

We will definitely go back, especially for lunch, as their prices are relatively reasonable and their food is fabulous.

As a Chinese, I believe I am picky about food. And I accidentally went into this restaurant for I thought it was like a Mongulian Grill like restaurant. I was wrong. I made all kinds mistake such as not knowing any word on the menu. I did not know the table manners. I still dont know much now though. The waitress was very kind, help me to order and telling me the utensils. The food was great, contrary to some over-seasoned food I had had. I love to have dinner over there.

This location is so much better than the Marinaside one. Or maybe it's just me...

The tiny tapenade was teeny and tasty, and I understand we must save ourselves for the tantalizing mains, but for four of us, the teaspoon amount served meant someone had to hold back - so I did the martyr thing.

Antipasti tray was next - yummy! Chicken with harissa was very good. As was the eggplant, and the anchovy pizza. The meatball was tasty, but the artichoke, well, I will pass next time.

Our mains were spectacular. My rabbit leg with fig jus was tender, tasty, and a generous amount. The wild mushroom ravioli was fragrant and will be my next main. The halibut was so good that our table got the last piece, and we were an early 6:30 sitting!

When the dessert platter arrived with that lovely wedge of lemon tarte - all forks were flying - next time I will order that just for me - the chocolate cake  was mesmerizing - tender like chocolate cake should be - a nice cheesecake, but the lemon tarte was really the star!

What I like is the Marquis de Tour, a bright bubbly for under $10/glass - nice in the summer.

The white and brown decor is  calming. The hanging lamps do harken back to macrame days, but fit in nicely. Tables are very adjustable, so small intimate dinners and much larger groups may be seated. The booths along the west wall are kind of cool - very comfy seating.

Provence has a lovely, calm ambience, wonderful wait staff, and do make reservations for dinner.

Out of all the restaurants in Vancouver, my favourite meal in the entire world comes from this restaurant. The dish that makes me salivate at the mere thought of it is their mushroom ravioli. It is to die for. Whenever my co-workers and I would come here for work lunches, most of us would always order the mushroom ravioli and savor every single bite. Foodgasm is the best word to describe our dining experience here.

The food overall is very good, but I find the menu to be a bit limited and the dining room on the small side (although very quiet and intimate). It has excellent service though. It is definitely a must eat out at!

May I just say, it is here where I had by far the best warm goat cheese salad of my existence!
The goat cheese was crusted with bread crumbs and it was the perfect temperature! ...It was a melt in my mouth decadence!

I like how this small place serves up dishes with big flavor!
Very nice hostesses and staff here.

There Antipasto selection is to die for!
I like everything about this place except for the fact that's its in Point Grey, a neighbourhood I rarely go to anymore.

I was so surprised how amazing the staff was when I entered. Even though I was ordering Antipasto to go, they gave me a seat, filled my glass with water and gave me really helpful tips about the food.

Most of their produce comes from the UBC farm, so gotta give them props for buying local. The waiter even threw in some free bread and San Pelligrino for free, what a doll!

For 5 entries for $21 you can get a feast indeed. We dined on fresh bread from the oven, an amazing 6-grain salad, olives, perfect eggplant, marinaded mushrooms, and grilled mixed vegetables.

If I'm ever near UBC again I will surely stop by and grab some good eats again.

Very tasty dishes (had the prawn menu on this occasion), great service, and one of the owner even went so far as to drive to their other location (probably 45 minutes there and back) to replenish the ingredients they needed for the dish we came for! They kept us waiting with appetizers and drinks on the house.... Oh, and their clafoutis is to die for.

One of the few restaurants we regularly return to, even if not as often as the main other one due to the price...

The food is great but the service was horrible and inconsistent.  I believe Provence Marinaside is the better of the two.

I had the best pan seared duck breast, and best Caesar salad that I ever had here. The service is great, the place is nice, and in my opinion it is one of the best high end dining options in Point Grey near UBC. I would eat here often if I could afford it.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Vancouver.  It's friendly and both the service and the food are unpretentious.  Everything is always well cooked and I've never had a bad meal there.

Their twists on Eggs Benedict are wonderful for brunch and my friend swears by the french toast.  The antipasti bar isn't my favorite, but it's  fun for lunch with friends (the grilled squid are very good) and their dinners are everything that is great about light french country cooking.

It's hard to know how to categorize the price.  The menu has a huge price range.  Brunch entrees are under $12.  The antipasti sampler is under $15 at dinner and there are some other mid-range entrees.  However, most of the fish and meat dinner entrees are $25-$30.

Their shrimp crab cake is full of oceany flavors. The lamb rack is cooked to perfection, juicy and tender. Although i had too much expectation on the lamb and they didn't outdone my expectation. After it should be their specialty. It is perfectly prepared but no surprises. The ambiance is really nice. Perfect neighborhood bistro.

This is the original Provence location with a cozy dining room and smaller kitchen than the Marinaside location. Nestled in the quaint Point Grey village this is a different experience of Vancouver. The menu is made up of French and Italian dishes made from high quality ingredients and prepared exactly the way they were meant to be. This is as close to a trip to Provence you can get without buying a ticket. My favourite things here are Tappande, the Bouilabaise, French Toast (at brunch), Roast Veggies from the antipasti bar, and pizzaladiere. Always make a dinner reservation and ask if they have a tasting menu for that night.

I went to Provence for brunch.  I had high expectations because a few days earlier I had dinner at the Marinaside location.  I was sorely disappointed.  Two of us ordered the waffles and they were dry, mealy and soggy.  Neither of us finished even the first of three waffles served and yet the wait staff didn't ask why we didn't eat most of our meal.  I had to remind the coffee server 3 times that I was drinking decaf and still, the fourth time, she poured regular coffee into my cup.  Our server really didn't seem to care; it was inattentive service.
