Amazing views!! Great scenery and an awesome experience. So glad I made the trip from Seattle!
Checkout out the ice cream at the cafe! -

We came in the off season so the outdoor food vendors weren't open. But the lookout is nice, parking is easy, and there's a great view/photo op.

A beautiful spot in Stanley Park with a breathtaking view of the Lion Gate Bridge. You do have to pay for parking but the pass you buy can be used anywhere in Stanley Park (and is required everyone in the park too). There is also a nice gift shop and and tiny spot to pick up snacks like ice cream. Yes, it is swarming with tourists (like myself) but it was still really nice.
Listed in: 2011 Pacific Northwest…

Do you like nature? Mountains? The Ocean? If so, you'll probably like the Prospect Point Lookout. Yes, there's pay-parking, and no, you don't want to head here on a rainy day, but it's pretty much a staple of my people-visiting-Vancouver-visiting-us-tour-of-the- city-experience.

Great views of the Lion Gate Bridge, water and city.
Pay for parking. Park either at the lot or alongside the road.
Bathroom is your typical tourist spot - unkept. Beware there are raccoons wandering the area! -

I'm sure that my visit on a rainy January day really didn't do this place justice, but if it was sunny and warm this would be a KICK ASS place to watch the world go by.
It looks like maybe the plexiglass keeping the rain out during the winter probably comes down during the summer months, but even with the gray drizzle, a glass of local wine warmed me up as we zoned out and watched the traffic on the Lions Gate Bridge.
