I love stopping by Propellor to check out whatever amazing project they're working on and to just shoot the shiz. The lighting pieces and furniture coming out of their door are all beautifully artistic, functional, eco friendly (they use a lot of bamboo) and true conversation pieces.
Everyone in the shop is warm, friendly, and attentive. They're also standout members of the community, as they donate their wooden offcuts to a social enterprise training downtown eastside women carpentry skills.
To top it all off, Propellor is a collection of avid and knowledgeable cyclists and they curated the amazing Velo-City exhibit at the Vancouver Museum this past fall. Just an all-around great design house with supremely talented and friendly artists.
