I had heard about this place and read the reviews on here, so I decided I'd go get my hair done here. I told my friend about this place and she went and got her hair cut by Christine and loved her, so I was excited when it came time for mine. This place is amazing! I had my hair coloured and cut by Effie. I know she's a junior stylist but she is absolutely amazing! I brought in photos and talked with her throughout the whole process. She told me exactly what she was doing every step of the way, and I am extremely happy with the end result and so is everybody who's seen it! Will definitely go back here for any future cuts :) And honestly, compared to some other salons I've heard of and seeing what my friends pay for their salon visits, this wasn't that expensive and SO worth it if you do find it expensive.

Unfortunately the young girl that cut my hair must have chose dull scissors. Colour was great but I had to go back to my regular place 2 weeks later for a proper trim. I can't think of any other reason why my ends start tangling worst than before my visit. I think they were a bit too busy, maybe she was new. This was last November 2011.

I LOVE this place. The girls are extremley freindly and always do a great job. It is a small salon with high end products. It is not that cheap but very resonable compared to other salons. Trust me it is worth it!
You will receive great service walk out feeling fabulous. -

I had my hair cut and coloured here two weeks before my wedding, and couldn't have been happier! They were able to take my appointment last minute (and were wonderful about it and completely welcoming). The service was amazing. The stylist took the time to go over (and over and over) colour with me, and it was perfect! I told her a friend of my mother in law was going to be doing my wedding day hair and I wouldn't get a trial, and she took the extra time to go over a few tips with me. I recommend this salon to everybody, and will definitely be going back!

Small spot hidden on Dudas, I found this after trying to get a haircut on Evoke like crazy ("sorry, we're booked for the next 4 days"). I don't have time (or patience) for salons like this, and I decided to give Prive a try.
Amazing surprise. All the girls there are very friendly and first talk to you about who you are, what you expect and what do you do to have a true feeling on what to do with your hair. Then, my hairdresser, Michelle, did a very slow hair cut using all her lifelong experience (she's been doing this since she was 18!) and kept asking me lots of questions about my personality, and giving me a feedback on what she was doing.
The result was exactly the kind of thing I was looking for: a ready-to-go very short cut, slightly asymmetric so it would look more fancy. Great job! I'm totally coming back there.
If you wanna try, ask for Michelle, she's great! The cut cost me 50.Listed in: The Beauty and The Beast

I arrived early, but was welcomed in with a nice warm tea and a bit of small talk. The girls were talking with each other and with all of the obviously pleased customers. I could tell that everyone was happy to be working there, even though it was late Friday afternoon.
I was served quickly, with a lovely scalp massage and hair wash from Effie (I believe that's her name!) and then the best haircut of my life from Christina. I went in with mid-length hair and asked for a short pixie, and Christina made my hair look better than it ever has before.
A young girl was having her hair cut next to me, and all of the stylists took time to make sure that she was happy and taken care of. The salon is definitely aimed at adults, but it was nice to see how well they took care of a younger client as well.

It's a great little hair salon with fabulous, friendly, honest staff (no unecessary up-selling!), who all provide great haircuts. The scalp massage is great and everybody loves my completely new 'do.

Michelle created one of the best haircuts I have had. She listened to what I wanted and created it perfectly. I highly recommend Prive and Michelle. The girls there are very friendly...great Salon!
