It's local. It's fresh. It's delicious.
The best part is that the sandwiches aren't your usual boring sandwiches,
Most of them have some kind of delicious twist to the flavour.
If you work downtown and you want a sandwich for lunch, Press'd is the best choice you could make. -

When you walk by the sleek and green store, your nostrils inhale the sweet scent of baked sammiches.
Sure, there are sammiches, but then, there are sammiches that are described as the mythical unicorn that for some reason leaves you smiling and satisfied.
I decided to go with "The Bird" half sized with some broccoli salad and a drink.
My sammich was beautiful put together on two pieces of dark rye filled with shredded turkey (I didn't smell/taste smoked, did anyone else?) mayonnaise, alfalfa sprouts, and avocado slices. Upon looking at it, I thought "Hey, a little skimpy on the avocado". But when you bite into it, it's just the perfect balance.
The half order of sammich left me at about 87% full and I then finished off the creamy, crunchy, broccoli salad filled with craisins, cheese chunks, and some seeds.
Ringing in at about $8.50 total, this sammich place gave me inspiration to become a sammich ninja where I must eat more to learn the ways so I can make it at home.

I first stopped at Press'd shortly after they opened. I thought it was good, a tasty sandwich with some unique fixings.
I hadn't been back, because I thought it was pretty pricey for a sandwich.
But as I wandered around the city centre mall around lunch time last week, I decided to give it another try.
I got the half Big Kahuna - ham, chicken, pineapple and bbq sauce on focaccia. .
The sandwich was good - lots of flavour, though bread was maybe a little dry.
As for the price, it was less than $6 (the full was over $8) - and the half was actually the size of a full sandwich at other places. I cut the half in half and saved it for later!
They have so many options for both cold and hot sandwiches, and they all sound really good - now that I have the price issue settled (its really not that much for what you get), I may have to go back and try a few more. -

One of my go-to lunch stops for downtown eating.
The decor is modern and fresh, and service is usually quick considering the volume of the weekday lunch crowd. They have their own seating area, which is a nice change from the food courts found in the City Centre Mall.
The sandwich options have a great balance. There are a lot of traditional, simply accessorized sandwiches (Club Press'd and The Boss), and what I like to call "gourmet sandwiches". With toppings that you and I are too lazy to think of or put on our own homemade sandwiches (Meddito and Sonoran).
The bread is baked fresh daily. I tend to choose the focaccia - with subtle seasoning and very light and fluffy. The rye is also very tasty and moist.
This place is very popular during the weekday lunch hour - so do get there early for quick service and table. -

My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch after an afternoon of shopping in City Centre mall. We each got a half sandwich: mine had chicken, apples, spinach, fig jam and baked brie, and his was turkey and artichokes. The prices were pretty reasonable... comparable to Subway for sure, except that the quality is much better. My sandwich was much bigger than I was expecting... part of me wonders if they messed up and gave me a full sandwich? I was satisfied after half of my "half", and had to share the rest.
I'd definitely recommend it for a quick downtown lunch. It was pretty quiet on a Saturday, but I imagine (hope?) that it's much busier during the week.Listed in: Downtown Tastiness

Pressd is a nice change for food options in City Centre mall. If you want something fresh (they bake their own bread) and healthy this is the place to go. I know someone who works days in the area and am told they always see the place packed during the lunch hour.
I ordered The Bird on rye bread. I was told The Bird is their most popular sandwich and I can see why. I found it delicious. The size of the sandwich is quite big so you definitely get your money's worth.
I definitely plan on going back and trying their other sandwiches -

This place is pretty good but overpriced considering its just sandwiches. It's a nice quick alternative to your typical food court eateries but its nothing that special. Any of the menu items could be made at home but its good for what it is.

Generous portions, homemade bread & interesting menu choices. I didn't find the flavours were outstanding, but it is an excellent alternative to typically fast food. It isn't as stunningly fabulous as the fare from Elm Cafe, but if you are in the core and need a quick bite, this is a good and reasonably priced option.

I needed something quick and inexpensive as a late lunch option this afternoon, and decided upon Press'd, as I happened to be running a few errands in City Centre. Most of the sandwiches were in the $5 for a ahlf and $8-9 for a whole. I opted for half of a "Bird" on whole wheat - turkey, sprouts, mayo, avocado, and cream cheese (although I opted to skip the cream cheese). I was worried half a sandwich would not be enough, but the size of it was larger than a sandwich I would make for myself at home. Price-wise, it is on par with a six inch sub at Subway, except this had much more filling and flavour. The bread was delicious and I love how it was lightly toasted on the outside while the main fillings stayed cold. Press'd was a pleasant surprise.
