I haven't been to Precision for a while. When I was going the one on one training was great!! When I stopped going for personal reasons I still had 4 sessions left. I has been over a year and they have not expired. This is great, I can still go in and use those 4 sessions and use a personal trainer to help he get the gears turning for my new fitness goals.

I started going here a couple years ago.  I first worked with a personal trainer.  I chose to take the 1/2 hour classes as they were a bit more affordable.  Plus I was told I could come up to an hour earlier to do my own warm up and stay up to an hour after and do more if I had any energy left.  That half hour was time well spent.  My trainer made sure I was getting the most out of my workout and pushed me to my limit.

I then decided I would take a few classes.  I took a spin class as I had heard it is a good work out. Plus I ride my bike to work so I figured it couldn't be that bad.  The first day I strolled in everyone else in the class had on jerseys and had clipped into their pedals with their bike shoes. After listening to most of the conversation I figured most of the class were amateur competitors.  Basically I walked out of there weak legged, but determined to improve.  Unfortunately the class was canceled, but I actually learned a lot about riding technique that I still use today.

I then took an all ladies boot camp class.  I loved this class and wish they still offered it.  I think they have an all ladies running class, but well my knees have informed me that they would rebel if forced to attend.  Instead I took on the speed and agility class.  I used to call it 'dog training' as you run through and jump over obstacles for most of the class.  However, if that last description makes it sound like a breeze think again.  Expect to sweat your way to a better you no matter what class you take here. The class sizes tend to be small so the instructor can make sure you are suffering just enough.

The gym itself is great.  The equipment is modern, clean and well maintained. The staff are all friendly and good at what they do.

My only complaint is the billing system.  I signed up using my credit card for 6 months of classes on a Monday night.  Monday being the day that most of the stat holidays are on.  I noticed on my billing that I paid for classes that were canceled on stats and for classes when the instructor was unexpectedly called out of town.  I was able to easily resolve this, but should not have had to check.

I've been getting my butt kicked here for a year now by Julie and Taunya.. If this were a restaurant review, it would be a one star rating.
I was a complete rookie to gym-type activities.  Whenever I set foot in one (only once every few years), I'd play with a few machines, and leave feeling good about myself. I knew I was doing it wrong, but it wasn't fun, so I rarely ever went.

I signed up at Precision Athletics because it had programs that were convenient for my schedule, and the location is even more convenient for me. I can't use "across the street" as an excuse. I started out with a 7am class, but soon realized that the early morning activity did NOT work well with me. I was able to switch it pretty easily to 6:30pm. I started out with a speed and agility class and have graduated to crossfit, which is intense but rewarding. I would never work out this hard on my own. In the summer the courtyard outside the gym is often used.

There are several group classes to choose from, and they are varied enough to meet anyone's ability and schedule.

Fantastic program and incredibly knowledgeable! I started working out with Craig at Precision Athletics about 5 weeks ago and the change has been nothing short of incredible. I've worked out with other personal trainers in the past and there really is no comparison. The workout programs really challenge you (as does Craig) and because the workouts are so varied, there really is no possibility of getting bored. I've been working out for 25 years and have never seen results so quickly. Precision Athletics really doesn't have any competition in the personal training department. They have set the standard that everyone else is going to need to strive for. Thanks Craig and everyone else at Precision Athletics!!
