I had my first experience with Prana Holistic after buying a coupon and I was extremely impressed. I have to be honest, my original impression of the location was a little hesitant when I saw the small, older style house (not quite what I was expecting). However, I was pleased to discover that the inside of the place is beautiful and cozy. The lady at the desk was extremely warm and welcoming (unlike most massage places), gave me some paperwork to fill out, and offered me hot or cold tea and a piece of chocolate.
My massage therapist was also very welcoming. We had a few laughs as we chatted about my problem areas and any specific areas I wanted him to work on. I am used to the dainty, relaxing styles of many massage therapists and I told him that I had some serious muscle knots in the muscles above my shoulder blades (scalene muscle I think it's called) that have yet to be "fixed". I asked him to do what it takes to get rid of my knots. He told me he specializes in deep tissue massage, which I was extremely happy to hear (finally! Someone who can actually get rid of my muscle knots!) The massage went extremely well, I would definitely say it's the best massage I've ever had. The massage therapist was very professional and got rid of my pain/muscle knots within the hour of or session together. Best of all, my massage therapist was extremely friendly and funny, we had some laughs throughout the massage, it definitely was the icing on the cake to make the experience even more positive. (Just in case anyone is wondering - I did ask the massage therapist if he always chats with the clients/has some laughs, he said that some clients prefer to be completely silent and just relax during their sessions and he is totally ok with that.)
I would highly recommend anyone try Prana Holistic's services. You will not be disappointed. -

I went to Prana for a massage after getting a coupon. It's located in a cute little house just north of Jasper ave. I was greeted by a number of very friendly people working there (they offer a bunch of other services too).
My massage was awesome, and my therapist (Adam) was very professional. We talked for several minutes before the massage about my problem areas and I left feeling great.Listed in: Mmmassage...

I too took advantage of a massage after buying a coupon. This was my first massage and Adam made me at ease and comfortable. It was wonderful! The location was quaint and the atmosphere in the building was calming
