You won't find poofy ballgowns here, instead you'll find beautiful, sleek dresses that are just ... wow. Adriana, the owner, is simply amazing. She closes the boutique for each appointment so it's just you, her and anyone that you bring. She's helpful, attentive and doesn't rush you - which is such a relief when you're faced with such a major decision (and purchase!). She stocks about 5 bridal designers (Jenny Packham, Reem Acra, Nicole Miller and a few others) that that start around $1000. She also carries a variety of evening dresses, many of which come in ivory and can be worn as wedding gowns. I bought my wedding dress here last night, after some other unimpressive appointments, and could not be more excited about my dress and the entire experience.
If you've walked out of other Toronto bridal boutiques slightly underwhelmed (or maybe overwhelmed, too) then visit Powder - it's worth the drive.
