Ok I know this is just a post office and really, who loves the post office? But these guys deserve the time it takes to write a review.
I don't use their services a ton-mostly just at Christmas. But they are super friendly, very efficient and they try to give you options that are going to be cost effective. My local post office near my home does the opposite of this so I think this great service is commendable.
This location can get quiet busy right at 4:30 when people are off work so if you can hit them a bit before or during off hours you'll save time. That being said, they can really make the line move while still making you feel like a valued customer -

Even at minus 20 with a minus 40 wind chill factoring in, the employees at this post office always seem to be in such a sunny mood. I have been in numerous times, to pick up packages, to buy stamps and to make copies and the employees here are always so courteous and helpful. They even know me by my first name and make a point to remember know my specific postal needs.
This Post Office in Dominion Drugs also has the convenience of wiring money nationally and internationally via Moneygram, takes around 5 minutes to fill out a form and money is transferred automatically. They will help you with location pickups anywhere in the world and never sneer when you need a specific postal code.
While you are there and you need last minute items, pick up anything from all occasion gifts, health products, and even climate items, the last time I was there it was rainy madly and I was able to find quite a fashionable umbrella at a great price.
Parking can be awkward, so park at the Macs across the street, or take advantage of the 8th Street SW terminal right across the street -

The other day I found myself cursing the weather we've been having.
-38 degrees Celsius isn't fun for anyone, so you can imagine my discomfort when I was walking around downtown trying desperately to find a post office.
I had walked about 2 minutes and stumbled upon the post office inside Dominion Drugs. How convenient! It's right off the C-Train line (8th street stop, across from the Mac's) and there was NO line-up! The ladies running the post office were SO friendly! They were super helpful, very polite and extremely accommodating! Usually, during this time of year, I find the service at post offices a little cranky because of the huge Christmas rush, but the service at this post office proved me wrong.
Aside from the exceptional service, the hours at this post office are fantastic! It's open Monday - Friday until 6pm and it's even open on Saturday until 5pm!!! AMAAAAZING!
From now on, the ONLY post office I'm going to is this one.
Great job guys, you've earned a customer for life!
