I came here with my boyfriend as he is a gym and health freak! lol I had gotten him a Living Social voucher where you pay $20 and then get $40 worth of products. He uses those protein powders and such, so I thought it a great deal. The store was spotless, and according to my bf, the prices were fair. They had a good selection of bars and protein powders. The staff, a guy, was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and was not at all put off by the fact that we were using a coupon. In fact, he grinned when I produced it and whipped up this enormous binder with other Living Social vouchers!!! We had a good laugh over the size of the binder! I totally recommend this place. Oh, they have parking in the back.

Popeye's is one of those big stores lined with plastic jars of pills and powders. Not particularly exciting. If you don't know what you're looking for, you could easily waste lots of money on the wrong thing, but staff are friendly and helpful and know the product lines well. If you're looking for weightlifting and bodybuilding supplements there's a good selection and great prices, but it may help to do your own research online beforehand, to get a sense of which products would work best for you and what people on public chat forums are saying about them. Don't trust the company testimonials. You don't hear from the unsatisfied customers, only the ones who think it's a wonder drug. If you're going to put it into you, give it the careful research and consideration your body deserve. One great things about Popeye's is, if you know what you like, you can buy bulk quantities of supplements like protein powders to save you money.
