I've been a faithful customer of Pookeys for probably 8 plus years. Although there prices are not comparable to G&E, there customer service and hours makes up for it. I've never been concerned with or had a problem with the quality of pet food from them, but if you did they have a great return policy :)

Being a past employee of Pookey's this place will always have a special place in my heart. While their prices can't compete with those of G&E and the big box stores their knowledge makes up for. For the most part if you have a question about something they can answer it, or they will do their best to find someone who can answer it. If you're looking for something special it can usually be ordered in. If your brand of pet food has a frequent buyer program they'll take care of that for you too. And to top it all off with each purchase on your "account" you earn Pookey's points which can later be used like cash which is great when your dog runs out of food and you're a bit short on cash that week.

Our specialty pet store (locally owned and operated) is packed with everything you need for your dog, cat, bird, fish, rodent or reptile.
Customer service is the top priority at Pookey's. To underline our commitment to our customers we are open 9 am to 9 pm, seven days a week. After 14 years of operation, we've learned the needs of pet owners in Sherwood Park, and we want them to have convenient access to the supplies they need. If you're looking for that specialty item not in the store, we will do our best to hunt it down and order it for you. We are your "One Stop Pet Shop".
