Canadian BBQ tradition, %80 of the time includes two main staples. Hot-dogs and burgers. Now we are always feeling guilty about eating hot dogs, they are very commercial with unknown ingredients inside, yet we can not resist that snap! of this beautiful emulsified piece of meat.

Polonia Sausage house has the best variety in town. All made and smoked in the house with natural ingredients and old traditions, well at least they claim. They are as affordable as the national brands. And 10 times more delicious. You can find the ladies behind the counter in their traditional clothing every once in a while. If you purchase a decent amount, they always throw couple freebies in as well, which is an old-world tradition. So next time before you hit a BBQ, quick stop, load up a bag of variety and make everybody happy. Because only heartless and cruel people do not like hot dogs.

Garlic coil, kielbasa, bratwursts, mini smokies, torunska, farmers sausage and a dozen more of foreign names that I can not remember.... I mean come on, what is better than a cheap, 10 inch, made with love hot dog.... Oh god...

    Stuck in a moment...

I'll make a special detour to get Polish sausages from Polonia. It's the best of the three Polish delis in town, with excellent selection of smoked bacon, ham, pork hocks, and sausages. They're on a par with, but cheaper than Oyama Sausage Company (Granville Island).

Like others said, there is the chatter between babcia and wujek, but this lets you know you're in the right place.

A couple of years ago, they merged with the bakery and now offer Polish treats as well. Go for their jelly-filled donuts for a tasty change from Timmy's.

With the sausages and donuts, you're halfway there to your picnic. All that's left to do is go next door to the Italian deli and you'll be set.

I love the sausages here (smoked, not raw like Italian ones). Also the Polish Smoked Bacon and the Smoked Chicken Leg (just rip the fat part off as you eat).

They gave us 3 free sausages (worth maybe $5) when we bought $20. Not sure if it's a usual or special offer.

The Yelp questionnaire on the business seems to indicate that this is categorized as a eat-in place. It's not. It's a little deli counter and some rows of other European foods to buy. I don't remember if there was even a little table. It's been too crowded every time I go to think of sitting around there!

BBQ?  You've come to the right place.

Everyone in here speaks Polish, including the customers.  I love Polish sausage, and there are several different kinds in here, along with other meats and an unexpected donut counter.  Every time I've been in here, I feel like I'm paying the "English-speaking price", I was definitely overcharged the first time for 3 links instead of just 2, and last time was just arbitrary.  I don't mind, though, because I know these meats are fresher, better tasting, and still cheaper than what I would get at the supermarket.

Warning: the smell will hit you like a ton a bricks when you walk in the door.  You get used to it.

Went there with my parents over Easter to pick up some deli meats and sausages.  Everything was so fresh and delicious.  I'll definitely be coming back!
