Planet Java is a bit of an institution for me and my cronies. Although the place has changed hands a couple of times over the last few years, It has retained it's essential character.
They serve the usual selection of coffee based drinks, as well as a selection of sweets, treats, and sandwiches.
For me the house blend drip coffee is the main attraction. I like it in a Planet sized serving sometimes referred to as a bucket of coffee. The house blend will appeal to those who fee that Starbucks coffee is roasted well past the point of no return. Planet Java house blend is coffee the way I remember it. -

A small coffee shop, with many in-shop made goodies. The billiards are in the back, but I have not yet assumed the position. It has a sweet 'triple D (Diners, Drive-in's and Dives) feel, and welcoming atmosphere. Instead of going to the usual coffee shops, it is a very cozy alternative. Quite a list of snacks/ lunch items, ranging from bagel sandwiches and soups, to shepherds pie. Alot of coffee options as well. (The mocha's are made with chocolate whipping cream)...
