Great experience. The wash is very quick and convenient, and you get a lot of bang for the buck. Sure you'll need a towel wipe afterwards to get rid of a few soap streaks here and there but I was super impressed by how effective it was at getting my looking new and shiny.
For less than $25, I had the exterior and underbody washed, sprayed with rust protector, the interior wiped and cabin mats cleaned.
What a great way to begin the spring! -

In a nutshell, pass on this place.
Took my RAV in for a basic wash.
I watched it all go down, and it looked like they were doing a pretty good job from a distance. Heck, I was impressed a lot was done by hand .. Until I had a look in the OTHER side of the car, and noticed they 'forgot' to wash the back right side! The back door and hubcap hadn't been touched. A layer of mud was still bone dry on the door around the handle.
This was basically a waste of $45, as I ended up an Esso drive through car wash a day later -- it was a lot quicker, cheaper, consistent and complete.
Won't be going back. -

I do not believe I have ever given a 1* review on Yelp before, but in this case I had no choice. After my second, and absolutely last visit to Planet Car Wash, I was left with a vehicle that looked liked a total of 3 minutes was spent cleaning it. I spent $60 for a complete interior overhaul and it should have cost me $6.25.
My leather seats looked as though they were quickly wiped with a wet rag and they were not completely clean. My doors were still dirty and my dashboard and consoles still had remnants of dust. I even found one of my girlfriend's long lost onion rings under the passenger seat. I was so disappointed with the service I wanted to drive back and curse but I was on my way to Niagara for the night and jut did not bother to return 2 days later complaining.
I simply will never return again and vent my raging anger via this post. It really is a shame because I fancy having my vehicle detailed quarterly and this shop is minutes from my home. I will simply have to find a location who does the job as they are supposed too.

Always do a good enough car wash but....
Left my sunglasses ($350 ones) in the holder when I went in. Only had exterior done but they have to move your car in for you.
Noticed later that day that they were missing. I looked everywhere in disbelief and yup, they're gone.
I always tip the people there as they are hard workers so I'll give Yelpers a tip: don't leave small valuables in your car. -

I had high hopes given the large menu of services, the impressive facility and the wall of customer letters of praise, but I was disappointed, especially for the money.
I had to use some spare napkins I had in the car to clean the major streaks off the inside and outside of every window and the interior cleaning left all kinds of visible dirt and lint from the paper towels. The staff were not rude but not especially friendly. It was all just so-so. -

There seems to a drastic shortage of car washes in the Toronto area..but this is one. For the external services this is basically just like any other drive through car wash I've been to (except that they make you get out of your car and charge $18 with tax). I've not tried the internal cleaning or detailing ($70 and up), but I might some day. It's not a good wash nor do they do a good job of hand drying afterward. Overall it's exactly as you'd expect it to be considering its location...more expensive and not as good as it should be.

Planet Car wash is conveniently located in the heart of downtown so if you live in the neighbourhood it's great. They do a good job. Just make sure you take anything you don't want to loose out of the car before you let them wash it. I got detailed car washing and had some change in the glove compartment for shopping cart eg. no frills requires 25cent, T&T require $1 for their shopping cart. When I picked up my car all my change was gone. It wasn't a lot of money but it's the principle! There price are reasonable.
