Planet Bakery is located in the strip mall near the corner of Dufferin and Centre Street. I been met to check out this place for the longest time since it is right next to Yogatree Thornhill. But always looks deserted and uninspiring.
The selections of bagels here are quite good: Plain, Marble, Whole Wheat, Everything, Poppy Seed, Raisins(Noooo). You can tell they are all baked in house with the facilities at the back.
Grilled Cheese Panini ($3.50) is really a grilled bagel with swiss cheese and tomato if you do prefer. The server almost killed my bagel by making it so toasted and flat and still thinking it is not cooked enough and asking me if I want to have in the press for longer.
Coffee ($1.50) in a mug only if you request. If not foam cup.. The mug is chipped right at the rim.. I would have not serve by own guest with one of those.
I might come by for some bagels to go as they are selling them in bulk but not really here for another Panini.Listed in: A Day in Vaughan!, Bagels in GTA!
