    Q: What is a dog's favorite pizza?
    A: PUParonni!!

I loove the feel of this place! Hip and modern! They actually play songs on records! We ordered #10, the basil and tomato dish!! Superb!!!! The pizza was about 11-12 inches and it was one of the better pizzas I've tried! :( Don't forget to get $2 off using yelp!! This place is so delicious I came here for dinner and then returned for lunch the next day! If you look near the kitchen, they also have games such as chess, Yahtzee, cards, and many more! =) I'd definitely recommend this place!

My wife and I went here thanks to the recommendation of a friend. I'm so glad they did. The pizza was very, very good. The hand-tossed, over baked crust was perfect. Their topping are interesting as well. We picked one with several different types of mushrooms, herbs, cheese and no sauce. It's not that I don't enjoy sauce, I do, but this pizza was amazing.
The other thing that caught our collective eye, was their macaroni & cheese. absolute Pasta Perfection! You have to try this stuff.
The decor is fabulous. The tables are made of recycled bowling lanes and they are beautiful. The chairs are old school chairs and they are comfy. (Why didn't they feel this comfortable when i was in school?)
The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because of the noise level. it was fine when we arrived, but one of the staff kept turning up the stereo.
Did i mention that they have an actualy turntable there, with stacks of LP's? Customers can peruse through the LP's and get them played. (Hmmm, I should have looked through them for some Beatles.)

I purchased a $15 gift certificate through Yelp for $10. Decided to finally try it out and placed an order to go of a Wedge Salad and Spaghetti with Meatballs. The food was tasty, but the spaghetti portion was small for $8.95.

Now here's the kicker that brings the review down to 2 stars! I am a strong advocate for customer service. I paid for my order, sat down and saw a take out order sitting on the counter. The gal whom with I paid was busy looking through pictures that someone was selling. I asked the other gal who was waiting tables if that was my order and she said she was only waiting on tables!!??? 10 minutes later, the gal who took my payment went over and grabbed the take-out order which was mine! She just handed it to me...no bag, no offer of utensils or napkins. With the lack of attention and gratitude towards customers, I will not be back!

Dang! I checked-in on Yelp after I ordered so I missed out on the $2 off of $10 order offer.

This place is unusual but you know what, I like it and it works for them. First things first when you walk in go straight to the front counter and order and then sit down where you like. This place is BYOB so you can easily pick up a bottle from the Wine shop next door or if you have some from home you can bring that too. I ordered the #10 pizza; it had pepperoni, chorizo and mozzarella- AMAZING! This is certainly one of those places where less is truly more and the quality of the ingredients easily read through on each and every single bite. I also split the Iceberg Salad with my co worker and it was more than enough for us; it was perfectly dressed and fresh I honestly could not have done better myself. This place is very relaxed as a matter of fact they even have board games available if you just want to sit around and chill. I can't wait to come back here later to try the rest of the menu.

Not kidding, we've been here twice when driving through and we are in love with Pizza Furiosa! Chefs are really passionate and all the food is made to order. Meatballs are amazing (with veal) and sauce is very robust  Food is great and we love the flexible service format...either order at your table or at cashier. It's a great alternative to crappy branded food and still gets you on your way quick. ALSO, there's a great wine store next door and your bottles are welcome.

I went to Pizza Furiosa with my best friend and her fiance, who had been there before. It took me a long time to order because everything sounded fantastic, and I ended up choosing the special of the day and a fresh strawberry lemonade. The lemonade was fantastic and you could tell it was made there. My friends ordered the meatballs as an app which they let try, and they were to die for. My pizza was also very good- super flavorful, although I think the olives may have overpowered the delicate sundried tomato tampenade.
All in all, I will be back. I was really impressed by the fresh ingredients and bold flavors, this is my kind of place! I highly recommend.

You will not find better tasting pizza in northern AZ.  Super-tasty crust: it's thin, it's crispy, it's tender and it smells great.  So many options on the menu, be sure to check out the specials, they write them on the big wall behind the counter where you order.  I had a mexican style pizza that blew my mind. (mole-chicken, refried beans, cilantro-cream sauce, tomatoes, onions, jalapenos)   This place is also BYOB (cheap beers and great pizza=good times).

Recommended by a fellow yelper, came here b/c the weather in flagstaff was too windy for snowboarding. I would say it was a good choice since the food was good. We ordered a bunch of different pizzas, #10, 11, and 13. I tried all three and were satisfied with all of them with #11 being my favorite.

One thing I really liked about this place is you can taste that they use fresh ingredients plus the pizza dude is tossing the dough in front of you so you know where it's coming from. The place is BYOB which would've been good to know in advance.

The atmosphere is very laid back with a record player, some art on the walls, and board games to play with. We played chess which consisted of wine cork pawns and bottle cap bishops (b/c they probably lost it). Half of the customers were done with eating and just hanging out too, so must be a cool spot to just chill out (maybe they have wifi- did not confirm it)

I would go again to try appetizers, but it wasn't anything that made me go WOW.

I love both the food and the ambiance here.  It is very casual.  You go up to the counter and order your food and then they bring it to you.  The food is very good.  I always love a good old fashioned blue cheese wedge and it is big enough for 2 people.  We have had both the pizza and the italian food and both are delicious.  You can play vinyl records while you eat.  I highly recommend it.  Don't forget to bring your own wine or beer and they will open your wine for you.
    Cheers!!

This place is awesome.  Found it on Yelp while driving through Flag yesterday and the missus and I are still thinking about it (and wishing it was closer!).

Everything about it is great, the food is incredible (the difference between a chef and a cook).  We had a special pizza that was fantastic and a ravioli special that was great as well.  They made a wicked grilled cheese for our son (he's 4) and we had an amazing bread pudding dessert.  The drink selection was very cool, lots of alternative/interesting sodas + mexican coke (yeah real sugar!).

The staff was awesome, Chris was our host/server and he was great.  His level of service and interest made me think he owned the place.

The atmosphere was great and very fortunately for us it was empty at 12 on a Sunday as our son had the run of the place and got to work out some of his energy (we drove 9 hours from Kingman to Santa Fe that day).

I highly recommend Pizza Furiosa, we can't wait to go back.  Enjoy!

The manager of the store got my order wrong and did not apologize for the mistake made or the inconvenience. "The only reason I gave you that pizza is because you raised your hand when I called it out. It's not my fault you got pizza with gluten when you paid for gluten-free." They have a terrible order system. Everyone's orders were mixed up and some people did not get their pizza for 1hour. Terrible customer service and unapologetic managers. It's sad that a place you'd think cares about the environment (they used old NAU chairs for their seating) doesn't care about its customers.

Good service, tasty pizza, and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, FRESH, AND AMAZING CAPRESE.

The only reason I want to go back is for the caprese.  The tomatoes were large, juicy, bright red, and flavorful.  The basil was fresh and the mozzarella was creamy.  Not to mention, the balsamic was think, tangy, and sweet.  To die for!

The only major downside is the atmosphere.  It seems like a relaxed place to have dinner with friends, but the DJ comes in and starts playing rave music.  Most of the people who are eating there are obnoxiously loud and intrusive.  However, the service wasn't great.  Most of the servers were distant and slow to react when we needed anything.

Great wood fire pizza! Fast service (although we were the first ones seated), friendly staff, kid friendly, local ingredients.

This was such a fun experience. We bought a bottle of wine next door, they even have a wine chiller for the whites you buy and want to drink right away. Pizza Furiosa gave us glasses. My mom and I, and my toddler son shared the iceberg wedge salad and the mushroom leek pizza and the tirarmisu. All super yummy, plenty of food. If you don't like black pepper you won't like the buttermilk dressing. The whole experience was outstanding!

The food was excellent, easily the best calamari I have had in Flagstaff and probably Arizona given the price charged. The pizza was delicious and full of flavor and imagination. The fact they use a wood fired oven makes the crust extremely delicious. They use all natural ingredients and you can taste the qualty in the dishes.

The Caprese was delicious, the mozzarella was fresh and not overpowering. If you are looking for a new place to eat in flagstaff this is definitely the place to go!

Go to this place for a GREAT dinner, lunch, or snack.

    Atmosphere:
    Relaxed, modern, and stylish.

    Service:
Friendly, helpful, and quick to help. Genuinely happy and energetic as well.

    Food:
YUM! The pizza is simple and fresh! It's baked to order and so perfectly delicious. Not heavy, greasy, or boring either. The pesto and walnut pizza was beautifully done. Salad was great too.

    Drinks:
You have to buy your wine or beer next door, but they are friends with Furiosa and equally helpful. Their selection is great and the prices are right! At the restaurant, the orange julius is homemade, creamy, and so good!

Overall, this may be the best pizza I've had. I can be picky about good food, and this is honestly some of the best value!

Traveling through Flagstaff on the way home to CO we decided to try Pizza Furiosa because of all the great Yelp reviews.  Guess what, they were all right!  This place rocks, cool vinyl music being played on a turntable, great warehouse feel interior and friendly staff.  All our food from the wedge salad (best I've ever had) to ziti and gourmet, local ingredient thin crust pizza, was delicious.  You know when ingredients are fresh, because the food just tastes FRESH.  I think we'd almost come back to Flagstaff just to try more food from this amazing little pizzeria.  Thanks Pizza Furiosa, you've gained a fan!

This place has all the right ingredients:
Fresh organic produce from local growers, genuine italian flour for the pizza & paninis, a great loft-type atmosphere, and classic tunes spinning on a turn-table.  The paninis we had were wickedly good, the best & most genuine since a recent trip to Siena & San Gimignano.  The staff is friendly & accomodating & the prices are surprisingly low.  I very rarely give a 5 Star rating for a restaurant, but for the value & quality Pizza Furiosa is a deserving recipient...

I was so happy to hear that PestoBros wasn't gone entirely but had evolved into Pizza Furiosa.  And I wasn't disappointed with my visit!

Everyone in my group had pizza with order of pizza rolls.  Yummy pizza, creative toppings in additional to old favorites:  think tri-tip steak, potatoes & gorgonzola or saffron alfredo sauce w seafood.

Highlight of the meal for me was a small sample of Mac N Cheese the chef brought out.  It was AMAZING - super creamy sauce, bread crumbs perfectly toasted.  It's made w marscapone, white cheddar, & truffle oil - how can you go wrong with that combo?!

Decor is hip yet laidback with lots of recycled materials.  Not your typical pizza joint.  Staff are friendly.  Kid friendly place with a counter they can write on.

Things keeping it from being 5 stars:
    - Our table's food came out over about 10 minutes.  We paid separately (you order at the counter) so each went in a separate order but that seemed a bit long.
    - Limited drink menu (I do like a cold beer w my pizza).

All minor, and I'm sure they will be resolved.

I had high expectations for "Furiosa," due to its affiliation to "Pesto Brothers," and I was completely let down. I am hoping that over time they master the wood-fired pizza oven! The pizza dough was uneventful, very dry pizza- and burnt to the point that I had to send it back. The recipes seem like they'd taste good, however it was skimpy on the sauce and lacked flavor. The pasta was delicious, however the portion was more of what you'd expect in a tapas style restaurant.
I am hoping the pizza, pasta portions, the restaurant and the staff begin to age like fine wine. Flagstaff needs a great pizza place and I hope someday Furiosa can fill that bill.

In town for a short course and found this place on yelp my first night. It was a bit quiet on a Wednesday night but service was helpful and quick. No liquor license but the wine store next door was open and helpful as well for a quick BYO purchase to go with my pizza. If I lived in town, I would definitely be back. Crust was crisp and chewy and the cheese and sauce flavor combo was delicious.  This is a great place for a nice but not super fancy/long dinner.  I would definitely eat here again if I find myself in Flagstaff again!

We've been fans of the "Pesto Brothers" establishments going back to '98 or '99--back when they ran their sandwich shopped out of the hole-in-the-wall place on Phoenix. We finally stopped into Pizza Furiosa after hearing about it months earlier, and while we didn't see either of the brothers there, we ordered up.  The selection of food surprised us.  We thought they were going strictly pizza, but there were enough other kinds of foods to give us good pause while ordering.  I enjoyed them having bottled Mexican Coke (though I wish it'd been chilled instead of sitting on the counter).  We ordered two different appetizers and then a small pizza.  The appetizers were so good and so well-portioned that we were struggling to really dig into the pizza when it arrived.  We played Scrabble during our meal, and the phonograph was putting out some cool tunes.  All in all, while it was slightly more expensive pizza experience than other places, we'd definitely go again...and again...and again (budget permitting).

Amazing pizza and gnocchi!  I am very picky about gnocchi and this is as good as it gets. Tender, with the pesto sauce and red sauce on the side - yummm.  My husband is very picky about his pizza and he loved the tender crust with flavorful toppings - none of which overpowered another.  They play old records on a record player and played my favorite Fleetwood Mac during our visit.  Kids are encouraged to write on the counter walls and play games.  They have a stack of games for customer use and don't hurry you to leave.  It's BYOB so bring your wine or beer with you or - go next door to the wine shop and get a bottle.  Love it!  Will be back next time in Flagstaff.

The calamari and caprese salad were spectacular! The fresh mozzarella paired with the sweet balsamic vinegar was out of this world. I had the pepperoni and chorizo pizza as an entree. The crust was thin and crunchy and the flavors meshed perfectly. The tiramisu was also a winner.

The atmosphere was really relaxed and a bit offbeat, which provided a nice contrast to the Italian comfort food on the menu. The service was fairly quick for such a small place and the server was very friendly. Overall, a great experience. I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in Flagstaff.

Preface: This is my first Yelp review. Cause I LOVED this place.

I saw someone in my Twitter feed say they had a great lunch here so I had to try it since I love new places to eat. On a Friday night we walked in to a super cute place that smelled amazing. All in all great vibe. We ordered and I got a cheese pizza and my bf got the baked ziti. In about 15 minutes I took a bite of my pizza that reminded me an so much of the pizza I have eaten in Italy and my taste buds rejoiced!

    SO GOOD!!

The pasta was great, too. Can't wait to go back and try the ravioli. This place is so well priced and the food is fabulous. Highly recommended. The only thing I would change would be the crust of my pizza. It was a tab bit bland for my taste but the amazing sauce and cheese made up for it on all accounts.

    Love it. Yum.

Uh...yum! Fantastic stuff going on at this new place and I am a big fan.  Had lunch today for the first time and it was great!  Wonderful food and service!  I ordered #13, a pie with mushrooms, goat cheese and green onions.  My friend ordered the macaroni and cheese.  I can't wait to try the eggplant panini.  The watermelon lemonade was very tasty too.  My one tiny beef is that while the outside pizza crust was perfection, the bottom was a bit dough and undercooked.  Great flavors though and I am so glad I have leftovers for dinner tonight!

It was hard for me to stray away from the south side of Flagstaff until I was introduced to Pizza Furiosa. You can tell when a restaurant takes extra steps to impress their customers and pays close attention to detail. We had a pasta dish, a small pizza and an apple turnover.

There was a helpful portion of pasta that could easily feed two for a lunch break. It was rich and tasted homemade, if you had a chef at home.

The wood-fire pizza was very impressive. It is hard for a slice to convince me it's healthy, but the basil spinach pesto and sun dried tomatos did the trick. The crust was near perfect and that is the reason this pizza joint gets a perfect five instead of a four and a half.

The apple turnover with it's homemade whipped cream was a great way to end the experience. I have a problem with deserts being overly sweet to compensate for poor preparation, but this turnover did not have that problem. It was earthy and fruity with its local apples and walnuts.

Be sure to look through the gallery for the photos I took!

I ate here with friends last night and we shared a couple of pasta dishes and a couple of pizzas.  The staff was friendly but didn't seem to know very much about the menu. If you're in the mood for some good comfort food be sure to get the macaroni.  The gnocchi with pesto was okay.  The pizza with smoked salmon and brie was good.  For Flagstaff this place has better than average Italian fare.

Great pizza. I tried the cheese and the mushroom pies and I have to say I haven't had a better mushroom pizza. The dough, sauce and cheese were all perfect.
To be picky...everyone at the table was half way finished by the time I got my pie. The music was kind of loud and not my taste.
I wish wish wish they had a salad WITHOUT meat on it.
There are a lot of veg heads in this town.

Excellent Food!  Excellent concept.  Great flavors, great music, great atmosphere.  Great value for the fresh ingredients.  This is now a regular for me.

Amazing pizza, fresh herbs, a lot of care put in. Also, the watermelon lemonade was excellent. Will be coming back, just what Flag needs.

Awesome pizza. Fresh ingredients. Great hand crafted crust. The beef and potato pizza was the best. Ravioli not to miss either. We love the decor too. Lots of reused materials. We especially like the the reused bowling alley lanes as tables.
