Review from Ben B.
Okay fine. I'll just come out and say it. I don't actually like drinking and partying so much as I love using it as an excuse to indulge in a whole other mealtime at three in the morning. And this, my friends, is why I love Halifax...because it not only tolerates such behaviour, it actually creates long-standing landmarks wholly focused on delivering late-night feasts.
Pizza Corner is the glorious crossing of Grafton and Blowers where three greasy pizza joints stand proud, serving by-the-slice orders so big they need to be folded, so unflavoured they need to be dipped in donair sauce, and so questionable they need to be eaten well-past the witching hour.
Each of the three shops are essentially the same thing although locals will try to convince you of their individual merits or claims-to-fame which is the beauty of it all. Everyone goes with their sights set on one of the three, but oh - what's that? A long wait? Then it's on to the next one.
New features to Pizza Corner, building on its already massive appeal for the post-party crowd, include Willy's for specialty poutine to go, Burrito Jax for a football-sized dose of Mexico, and of course the long-standing street meat cart.
Choose your poison, take an Advil, drink lots of water, and get your ass to bed.Listed in: Sweet mother of pizza., Shameful., After Hours

Review from Kirk F.
One of the most contested questions in Halifax: Is Pizza Corner a blessing or a bane?
Considering I'm giving it five stars, it's pretty clear I consider it a blessing.
Let's start with a brief description for those who are not from here. It's an intersection where three of the four corners have pizza shops. Kind of like those intersections with three Starbucks in Vancouver. It's also in downtown and open late which means you can expect a drunken horde most every night. Slices are typically gi-normous.
Why do I love? Let's start with the fact that it sells pizza. And I like pizza.
It's also one of the most popular areas of downtown. And has helped out the neighbourhood - lots of other late-night food places have opened up, supported by the Corner's popularity.
Beyond food, there are lots of other cool shops in the area.
Finally, it's just one of those "Halifax places;" a staple of our city. Definitely something I include any time I'm giving a tour of downtown.Listed in: Veg-Friendly Food Places
