I love this place! Go here for lunch at least twice a week. As an ex-New Yorker this little family run place touches my nostalgia bone. It reminds me of all the little Mom & Pop businesses that I love and miss so much. In a city like this where many restaurants have gone for false kitschy appeal, with high prices for small ho-hum plates I'm so refreshed every time I come here. All the food is fresh and piping hot, probably due to the sheer volume of people coming through. When you walk in it may look like it's too busy, but after you place your order, some seats will magically appear and your number will be called. They have lunch specials for under $7 everyday and the food is authentic and so good. Nice staff and congenial atmosphere. This place is packed with regulars and lots of foreign language students from the nearby schools. The best!!!

Best falafel wrap I have ever had! (and so cheap - only $4.76 with tax). The line up out the door at lunch time says it all. I usually call ahead to save some time and it is ready when I get there. I have also had the chicken shawarma which was ok, but just pales in comparison to their falafels (all freshly made).

Pita Wrap Cafe is a small, order at the till restaurant. The menu is displayed in large font above the kitchen, while the tables are covered with cheap plastic yellow/green table cloths. I immediately like this place. =)
The restaurant is family owned and run. The patrons look like regulars and it is packed during lunch everyday.
I had the #4 which was a chicken platter with rice, potatoes, pita bread, greek salad, tzatziki and hummus. I found some pieces of the chicken a little fatty, but overall it was a great price, delicious and fast.Listed in: Lunchin' Downtown

Followed a friend here for lunch... wasn't planning on getting anything. And then I saw the super cheap falafel plate and decided to pony up.
Four pieces of crispy falafels, pita bread, tahini, hummus and tabouleh salad for under $6!! WHAT?!
I opened the container back at work and surprise! It was the cutest little lunch - is that weird? Whatever - it made me happy and then sad to ruin it all at the same time.
Wicked prices, great presentation, portion size and service. I will be coming back for sure. -

Wanna watch the World Cup on your lunch break? Come here and do it while stuffing your face!
This is a great homey place to get some inexpensive grub fast. They can dish out soup, salad, donair (beef, chicken, lamb, veg, falafel), souvlaki, kabab, spinach pie, baklava. Did I mention they serve breakkie as well?!?
It's family owned and the lady in the front lines is so sweet and nice! She recognized me on my second visit and even then remembered my order after that!
You must go through the kitchen to use the washroom, but I don't mind that much. I know some people get all weird about that. Hey, at least it's clean in there!
I had to learn the hard way they close on weekends. -

These beautiful people make a very good breakfast for $3.45. 2 slices of bacon, 2 eggs, homemade pan fries, 2 pieces of toast. You pick up your order at the counter once it's done. They also have Middle Eastern cuisine in the $7.50 and up range. A pleasant place to eat! I won't touch the coffee tho. Best to go around the corner to the 7/11 for an English Toffee Coffee.

Solid breakfast. For $3.80 you get eggs, homefries and bacon/sausage with toast. I have wanted to try this place at lunch but it gets too packed. I have seen a line out the door. Good sign but I haven't had anything but the breakfast yet.
