Ahhh the Pita Pita. Nice Canadian success story. It wasn't that long ago (or was it?) that I could boast after one epic summer road trip to Waterloo for a friend's birthday to have eaten at every single Pita Pit in existence all in the space of 72 hours. Now look at it stores across Canada, the States and around the world. Not too shabby for a place that started out as a hole in the wall catering to drunken Queen's students at the top of Princess St. In Kingston
As for the food...it's made to order, served hot and covered in an array of tasty toppings, cheeses and dressings. All this at a reasonable price for the hungry man or woman on the go that needs a portable meal. What's not to love? -

This Pita Pit location is at a prime location for some late-night grub after a night out at the bars and clubs. It's a favorite spot for anyone that wants something to eat in the middle of the night, but isn't in the mood for the greasy grub at the other fast-food joints open at this hour.
Their wraps may seem a bit pricey for pitas at first, but they really pack them with vegetables, toppings, and sauces. You can even double your meat or cheese for an extra charge. They have a pretty good selection of meats and fillings, as well as sauces, including tzatziki and mango. No matter what you order, the pitas are healthy and filling, and they'll even deliver them if you're craving a serious pita wrap. -

I have to give credit to this particular Pita Pit for dealing with the intense line ups of intoxicated students that come straight from the bars after last call, to here to get something to eat on their way home
Needless to say, don't go here for a snack around 2am, if you have not been out, though the pitas ARE delicious, it would not be worth the wait.
Pita Pit has delivery now too, so you can order it anytime from at home!
The staff here are patient and seem to deal well with the crowds.
