Overall this hotel is a good value for the price.
Pros: Great location - steps from the Village walkway
FULL KITCHEN!!! I hate *having* to eat out every meal when in whistler. Having the option to make your own meal is a definite plus
In-room Jacuzzi! Need I say more?
Price - good deal for a unit with kitchen in the great location
    Service - was great
    FREE WIFI!!!!
    CONS
PET CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!! $25 per NIGHT!!!!!!!!!! What the heck??? What damage could my 26lb beagle do to require that? MOST other hotels in Whistler charge $25-35 per 5 day stay.
Kitchen is a little sparce. Didn't have a whole lot of utensils etc.
Wasn't the cleanest place I've ever stayed.
Pool is TINY and you need to go outside the building in order to get to it.

I stayed at the Pinnacle for one night on a Monday night on business.  I chose this hotel based on a recommendation of a colleague.

    Location
Very conveniently located. Within walking distance to Marketplace and to the Village.  It is next to the library and was very easy to find.  I liked that it was not too close to the village itself so it was fairly quiet - I have spent weekends in various hotels in the village before, and it got very rowdy and noisy after the bars had closed. That said, I did stay here on a Monday night, so maybe that had something to do with it, but I really can not be sure.

    Service
Very good.  Every staff member I dealt with was very professional, courteous, friendly, and extremely helpful.   I felt they really care about their clients and how well they do their jobs, which, sadly, seems to not always be the case in Whistler.

    Room
This is an all-suite hotel so I got a room with a full kitchen and a dinette set, which could come in handy if one were to stay here a few nights.  Eating out in Whistler could get expensive so having a kitchen is definitely a plus.  The room itself is very clean but is looking a bit tired, so it could do with a refurb.  It's a bit too 90's for me with the pine furniture and wallpaper, but the clincher is the cheesy soaker tub/jacuzzi next to the bed. I really do not understand the point of having a jacuzzi in the room - who wants a steamy room?  But that's just me.  Anyway, as for the bed, it was actually quite comfortable,  very 90's bedspread and pillow shams notwithstanding.  The room also came with a sofa bed, a gas fireplace (very cozy), a flat screen TV (lots of TV channels to choose from), a DVD player, and an iPod docking station/alarm clock combo (which I totally loved). My only complaint about the room is the lack of lighting and workspace. I had to set-up my workspace on the dining room table and the lighting was very poor in that area so it proved a little difficult for me to read some documents. But then again, this is Whistler and not a major financial district - they cater to the leisure traveller more so than the business traveller so not having a suitable workspace is totally understandable.

    Bathroom
The bathroom itself is a bit on the small side because space was sacrificed for the soaker tub in the room.  BUT, the water pressure was good, and I was able to have a hot and steamy shower so I was totally fine with it.

    Etcetera
Parking is charged at $15/day with in and out privileges.  They will even let you leave your car there for a few hours even after you've checked out.  The only problem is, I found most of the spots to be too small, even though I was driving a compact car.
Wifi is free of charge, and the signal was really good inside my room.
Bathrobes and toiletries were also provided.

    Conclusion
All in all, I'd give this hotel a solid 3 stars, maybe even 3.5, but I hesitate to round up to 4.  I think the Pinnacle is perfectly fine for leisure and business travellers who are not too fussy because it provides good value for money.  However, I would not recommend this to high-maintenance couples looking for the perfect romantic get-away.

    Great hotel for the price!
Located on the outside of the village but walking distance to all the fun. Customer Service was amazing, price was a crazy deal , cheaper then all the other hotels around. In the room they have a queen size bed with a nice big plasma tv located over the fire place. They have 2 person Jazcuzzi tub that in located right beside the bed and in view of the TV. nice large baloncy. Parking is $15 a day and really really hard to find a spot (spots are so small that people park in 2 which left others with no spot at all) They have a pool and a hot tub , located outside.

Great location, good value.  We loved our stay here- has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Whistler.  The kitchenette is a total bonus- we made breakfast here in the mornings and dinner one evening.  Easy to walk to everything in the area.  very helpful & friendly front desk staff.
