Consider yourself warned. You may run into the risk of never wanting to have any other brand or maker of frozen yogurt again other than Pinkberry. Why? Quality ingredients.

The yogurt is perfectly soft and smooth. Their toppings are plentiful, creative, and fresh. Come taste it for yourself. It's a perfect summer treat.

    *Do prepare to line up.

Knowing that the lineups to get into Pinkberry in the summer would be unbearable, we tried to get our fill in the winter. This was good for several reasons: we were always able to get in without a massive line up, and they had Blood Orange.

I LOVE Pinkberry. To a scary degree, perhaps. Blood Orange Froyo may very well be my reason for getting up in the morning .. but unfortunately, it was a seasonal flavour and now it's gone and my life and belly are empty.

Pinkberry does change their flavours out often, and introduce new ones. The new flavours can be hit or miss - Peppermint and Salted Caramel, while good in theory, were not at all popular; whereas Blood Orange, Pomegranate and Mango are/were huge.

Don't forget to ask about the Secret Cheesecake - it's available as a topping, but is hidden below the counter.

I wonder if I could replace my Diet Coke IV with a Pinkberry Blood Orange one.

Guess I'm kinda late in trying this froyo place... In my defense, the weather didn't call for froyo, until yesterday (nice and sunny; yay, Vancouver!).
Because it was a "je ne veux pas travailler" kinda day, my bf and I decided to transit; giving him a break from downtown driving.  We got to the park royal village, and saw a line-up at Pinkberry, leading to the door.  Was contemplating on whether the wait was worth it.... we stayed in the end.  The line up didn't hold up for too long as the staff was very efficient.  I've noticed that almost all the people ahead of me (that I could see) ordered these orange pearls for toppings.  I had a small pomegranate froyo with the fruits they had, and the orange pearls.  It came out to be over $6.  Walked out and ate it in the sun because there was barely any room in the place (and the bf was cold).  I tried the froyo bit first; I didn't quite taste any pomegranate flavor, but the color kept me content and believing that it was fine.  Then I tried the pearls... I imagined it to have a chewy texture like that of bubble tea pearls, so I was quite surprised when the thin skin layer burst upon my bite, and an explosion of sweet syrup filled my mouth.   Hmm...  If they were supposed to simulate any kind of fruit flavor, I didn't enjoy them.

Sad to say, I was a bit disappointed, but at least I can now say I've tried it.  Our other plan was sea busing to North Van to grab some yummy coffee buns from that Korean coffee shop... Next time, next time.

Heard a ton of hype from my friends with lots of pictures posted on facebook tempting me on the deliciousness of their frozen yogurt.  The staff were friendly and nice about explaining the process of ordering.  You pick your size, the flavour of frozen yogurt and your toppings.  I asked how many toppings are allowed.  She replied, "as many as it'll fit."  I raised my eyebrow at my boyfriend and I think he heard what I was saying in my head..."As many as it can fit!!!!!"

I didn't go crazy with the toppings even though I liked the idea of jamming the toppings on the frozen dish.  We picked coconut frozen yogurt and added a few different kinds of fruit.  There was a promo where buying any sized cup and get a takeaway quartz of frozen yogurt for $5.  Now $5 is a good price for a tub of frozen yogurt.  The sizes you get in the store are pricey in comparison to the portions.  But that is typical of these sorts of places.

I thought the yogurt we had in store was OK.  Maybe I wasn't enthused about the coconut flavour.  The mango that we subsequently had at home was DELISH!  It tasted much better in the comfort of my couch.  The yogurt was great in consistency and the flavour was nice and light.

I would purchase another pinkberry frozen yogurt if they have that deal again.  Otherwise it's too pricey for what it is....some frozen yogurt and fruit.

BUT I might try the chocolate flavour with all the chocolatey and nutty toppings in the near future....=p

If my expectations weren't so high, I'd have given at least 4 stars.

How I love frozen yogurt with all kinds of random toppings! Having been to similar joints in the US such as Yogurtland, I think I've been too spoiled for PinkBerry. Why? So glad you asked!

While PinkBerry IS delicious (I make no qualms about that!), this is what I'm more accustomed to:

    1) About 6 to 8 self-serve yogurt flavors you can mix as you please
    2) a much larger plethora of self-serve toppings allowing you to control the quantity
    3) pay-by-weight (usually resulting in much cheaper prices)

While quality at PinkBerry seems a-ok, I prefer more autonomy...and cheaper prices, comparatively!...over my frozen-yogurt-bingeing.

    Overated, overpriced.  Overall disappointing experience.

Wish I had gone to DQ instead for a blizzard. Or even an ice-cream sandwich.

OMG the GRAND OPENING was amazing!! Props to Pinkberry and Bonnie Dune for giving us an amazing opening party!! The staff was amazing and the people were so enthusiastic! Well done!

The line up was long and the professionalism of the staff was very well done. It was kept clean, and even though the place was in chaos it was well handled!! Thanks to Matt, one of the employees who kept on bringing out samples to all of the people in the line up!! He was so nice and very friendly! Props to him too!!

I wish the party was a bit bigger and that there was actually a bigger stage where all the real fans could jump and enjoy the show a bit more... Tents are cool, but it felt too "inclusive" but over all the party was awesome and the PinkBerry experience was kept!

Will be coming here more often if there is a Pinkberry in Vancouver now! If only it was acutally within the city then there might be a lot more people going and traffic would increase as well! I am toatlly excited to grab my own take home size soon and enjoy it myself at home while watching TV shows!! WOOT WOOT

    Welcome Pinkberry to VANCOUVER, CANADA!!

P-I-N-K-B-E-R-R-Y Pinkberryyyyy! ...That was sung to the tune of the Pinkberry song, which apparently they don't play at the Vancouver location. Anyways.

I love Pinkberry more than anything. The yogurt, the toppings, the fact that it was solely available in the States until now!

How excited was I to go to Pinkberry in Park Royal? Very, very, very. My friend lives in North Van so we hopped the bus over there and got in line. There were loads of people in line and, like someone else said, they seemed to have no clue what to do once they reached the front of the line. Also, they clustered right in one spot rather than move down so that we could order after them...but anyways.

There were more flavours than I remembered, so I tried watermelon with loads of toppings: yogurt chips, blueberries, watermelon, and "pink chocolate gems" which are really just pink Smarties.

The staff were very friendly and seemed to be making a big effort to be accommodating - every time they had a free second, someone was Windexing the windows! Kind of cute.

It's definitely expensive, but it is tasty and fresh and a perfect treat on a hot day! Now move on down to Calgary, please!

LOVE Pinkberry -- ate it nearly every day last week while on a trip to the states.  The yogurt is a solid 4-star but the service was a 1-star.  Since the store is recently opened, I'll try it again once staff are up to speed.

The ordering process is simple: pick a flavour, pick a size, pick your toppings.  For some reason, this concept seemed hard for everyone in line to grasp.  We all waited in line for a good 15 minutes ... but every time someone reached the counter, they were like a deer in headlights and surprisingly confused about how to place an order.  Not the fault of Pinkberry as their signs are quite clear.

Staff were friendly but painfully slow.  I made my order very easy: small cup watermelon/original swirl with only blueberries and watermelon.

The guy swirls my yogurt then stops to weigh it.  I've not seen this happen in other Pinkberry locations ... I'm curious what would have happened if it had been overweight, but luckily it must have been ok.  He slowly begins to add some blueberries to 1/4 of the cup, then watermelon chunks to another 1/4 of the cup ....

Staffer says:  You have more room in the cup, you can add more toppings to fill the edge.

Me:  I only want blueberries and watermelon, so I'll just have more of both.

Staffer adds a few more blueberries and stops, then asks: Would you like more watermelon too?

    Me: Yes.

So, we order 3 more cups with a similar process.  By the time we reach the register, the cups of yogurt are having a serious meltdown.  One of the cups had a huge chunk of mango yogurt on the side of the cup due to the staffer being sloppy so I grab a napkin to clean it off before it drops on my shoes.

I had plenty of time because the guy working the register is busy getting free samples for a few friends who were not in the line.  They greedily slurp away at their overflowing paper cups of fro-yo, thank him, giggle, and leave.

We tell him we have 3 small cups with toppings and 1 mini cup with toppings.  Unfortunately, he needs to know the exact flavour combination in each cup in order to ring it up.  Not sure why as it's all the same price.  Never had this happen before either.  Maybe it's to track inventory (?).

So, I list out the flavours and sizes to him .... he enters info into the register then says, ok, so that's one original, what's the next flavour?

Are you freaking kidding me?  While all this is going on, the yogurt is on full meltdown.  It took about five minutes to complete our transaction.

Long story short, the yogurt is delicious and refreshing.  The toppings are fresh and offer many fruit options.  The store operations need some serious oversight and improvement.

I'll visit again in a few weeks and see if it improves.

Made the trek across the bridge for Pinkberry, one of my favorite American chains ever!!

Very cute and same setup as the US ones I've been  to, but it looks like they may have expanded their frozen yogurt flavor selection... I totally don't remember mango, pomegranate, coconut, etc. last time I was in one!

Friendly with samples and it was nice to try out the other flavors, but I'll stick with the nice tart original.  Like with the US ones, you pick your toppings and you can put in as many as will fit in the cup for the posted price.  Thank goodness my experience wasn't like Allen W's!

No issues here and it's definitely a nice stop after you've done the Grouse Grind or too much shopping on a hot day!

They say it's the same, but it's not the same... oh wait, it kinda is.

So I got a text message late one night telling me that we were going to Park Royal after work... Park Royal? On a Tuesday? What for? Wheeeeee... Pinkberry. Where were you when my hubby lived on the North Shore. I would have agreed to live on that side of the bridge. We get there around 8:30pm and it is super busy. I was told to be ready to wait like 20 mins. I neglected to tell my husband this, lest he dragged me out of line to Starbucks or something.

It seems a little haphazard... There are about three or four people dishing out the yogurt and only one person (even though there are two tills) ringing everyone up. You got helped by anyone who was available and then when you were ready, waltz around the people who are still being helped in front of you to go pay. I like lines, I like order... I am not used to this.

To be perfectly honest, it tastes exactly like Qoola to me. I was quickly told I was crazy, but I sucked back a lot of frozen yogurt all over town (wow, that sounds bad) and I swear it's the same. Way better than Froyoswirl and Blueberries, but the same as Qoola. So like Allen W, I had the same problem: They asked me what toppings I would like, I asked for mango and pineapple. They put those two on and then asked me what else I would like. Uhh, more mango... more pineapple?

I'm not sure what all the hype is about, but this place seems like a passing fad... like a healthy version of Krispy Kreme.

The froyo was fine, I had the coconut, which is pretty tasty.  We also had the watermelon, which tastes pretty plain.  Good number of topping choices, and the fruit is all fresh.

All in all, unless you live in West Van, it's not worth the driver over the bridge.

Rarely ever will I see a Frozen Yogurt Shoppe and pass by without taking in it's delicious offerings. This would be no exception!

All I can say is, if you want to keep it Healthy...you've come to the right place.....and......if you want to tread on the Dark Side because you never fall victim to Guilt, then you've also come to the right place because you can add toppings that would make even Willy Wonka of the Infamous Chocolate Factory envious.......just sayin ;)

Seriously folks, if you get the chance to experience Pinkberry and you're walking on by.....trip, stumble or fake a fainting spell so that even if you're spouse, partner or friend is with you.....the obvious way to make you feel better would most assuredly be to set you up with a Large Chocolate Frozen Yogurt with All the Toppings......it will work, trust me now and thank me later ;)

    Keep us Sweet Pinkberry!

I'm not a huge frozen yogurt connoisseur but this place does it pretty good. What they don't do so well on is their toppings. I was a virgin Pinkberry customer and I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of the yogurt to topping ratio.

Even though I was new to it all, I knew enough to know that I was being ripped off. I watched as a 17 year old girl was carefully judging whether or not she had put enough on or if it was too much and her wage would be docked.

I wanted blackberries, toasted almonds, and granola on my small watermelon frozen yogurt. I got 3 blackberries, and a half filled small plastic spoon each of the toasted almonds and granola. This leads me to wonder, "Who does Pinkberry buy their supplies from that they can justify charging $6 for yogurt and so little topping?"

I looked around at other customers' concoctions and got topping-envy. I mean, if I was only getting 3 toppings, shouldn't I get more of those three instead of feeling I need to add other stuff just so I feel I got a little more value for my money? Ugh. It was good but not enough to make me cross the bridge.

Having fallen in love with Pinkberry in California, it was such a pleasant surprise to find out that they opened their first Canadian location in West Vancouver.

I made it to the Grand Opening on July 21st, where they served a free small Pinkberry with toppings to everyone who waited in line. I also went back again two days later. Addicted? Possibly.

The yogurt/toppings taste the same as Pinkberry locations in California, but the service is a bit slower. Part of it might be because the staff is brand new, and part of it might be the fact that people are lining up for their first Pinkberry ever. I would rate it 5 stars once I don't have to wait 20+ minutes to get my Pinkberry!

oh pinkberry, how i've longed for you since new york.. endless topping and light yogurt mix into the perfect treat in my mouth. the selection of toppings will only be found at pinkberry (note, some you have to pay an ext a 50 cents) but i stick to my usual fruit, mochi, and yogurt chips :).

the inside looks like ohjoy could've designed this place with its bright colours, striped seating, and pendant lighting. the colours mix perfectly for an upscale modern californian look (see pics). also a perfect addition to park royal for young families and those strolling around on a saturday date.

i give this 4 stars because even though it's oh-so wonderful, i think it's a fad (do you spell fad or fade). however, its a perfect one for the summer.

Yum!  The new Pinkberry in Park Royal Village is a great place to indulge your sweet tooth.

The yogurt is tasty and not too sweet, it has a nice tart taste to satisfy an adult palate.  The topping selection is fantastic from fresh fruit to chunks of heath toffee.

The service is very friendly and they are happy to give samples.

The only reason this is not a 5 star review is that it takes a long time to get through the check out.  They need to figure out how to streamline the ordering and payment process. If you are there on a really hot day your yogurt is starting to melt before you are done paying.
