The Metrotown Pinkberry is located in an obscure corner of the food court, near the Bay. A small cup will set you back $6 and change. Expensive yes, but soooooo much better than the froyo at Qoola.
I was welcome to sample any and all flavours. I've had the Original before, and today I sampled Mango and Green Tea. They all have a very alluring yogurty tartness and the flavours taste more or less real.
They can do two flavours side by side for indecisive Libras like me. The fruit toppings were fresh and the juice pearls too cool. My only complaint was that Pinkberry, you need to GIMME MOREEEEEEEE FROYO!

Ordered a small cup (5oz) plus toppings. We ordered a side-by-side of Mango & Chocolate-Salted-Caramel Swirl!
The mango froyo is a bit tangy, refreshing, and reminded me of mango sorbet. The salted caramel froyo is basically caramel froyo with a touch of salt, but the addition of salt made it taste this much better. Chocolate was decadent, but not too heavy.
All the toppings we picked worked pretty well. The Swirl Pearls were interesting because they taste like giant fish roes, but sweet and filled with fruit-juice like liquid. Dark Chocolate Crisps also stood out because it's chocolaty and it has a nice crunch to it. Fresh Fruit should also be a must on your list of toppings!

That's some expensive Fro-Yo. But, the exploding pearl toppings keeps me coming back.
There's a lot of hype with this upscale Fro-Yo franchise from LA. Not sure if it's all warranted as it's just frozen yogurt. In the beginning, their fro-yo didn't even contain enough bacterial cultures to be legally called frozen yogurt in Cali. At least now, they settled that lawsuit and put enough live bacterial cultures to have the official approval to be called frozen yogurt.
I actually like the minimalist design of this location. It only have a couple of tables for customers. Don't matter, I can easily eat and shop at the same time.
I like the original flavour which is "sweet and tangy with a refreshing finish". The mango flavour is pretty good as well. The green tea flavour is cool if you like green tea ice cream, not everyone's cup of tea.
The fruit toppings are very basic like blackberry, kiwi, pineapple, and strawberry. I don't care much for the dry toppings; didn't even bother to see. But, I love those exploding pearls. You bite into their thin skin and let all that awesome flavour explode into your mouth, that's the sh*t!
I haven't had any problems with their customer service so far. They have been very efficient in getting the people through the peak times.
I would had rated this fro-yo a 3 star but the exploding pearl toppings ups a notch to 4 stars. -

Pinkberry is a place for delightful soft served frozen yogurt treats headquarted in LA, California. Similar to Qoola and Red Mango; yet completely different than Yogen Fruz. I first had Pinkberry many years back when I went on vacation in LA in Little Tokyo. Deliciously tart and sinfully addictive. This was frozen yogurt unlike any other. Even Red Mango and their location in South Korea was just a little shy of the taste of first love.
When Pinkberry finally announced it was opening doors in West Vancouver and then Metrotown, Burnaby I was so excited. I must go try it... Would it be different? Would I be disappoint? The thoughts and memories of the intricate tastes running through my mind.
Pinkberry Metrotown, located next to the food court near The Bay hosts its own little shop. Cutely decorated yet very clean and minimalistic. Flavour of the month was blood orange. Having tried the original and match already; blood orange was calling my name. Tart, sweet, and citrus-ly acidic. I love it! Topped with fresh pineapples and mocha.
Get yours before they are all gone... -

The Fro-Yo buzz has gotten to me, I'll admit, and when I saw the twitter rave a long while back, I wanted to know why the excitement, after all it's just a frozen treat?
I got their basic flavour, but was surprised to see things, like green tea, and peppermint, and I'll admit it was really good. (I got to sample them)
The only thing that I found kinda damper my experience overall, was staff. I don't know if it was because they were tired, or it was the typical January blues, but they didn't seem too happy to be there, and when I asked what was their most popular toppings in the non fruit toppings they said "everything".
Then they said I could mix any and as many toppings I wanted, so I did so - 3 toppings to be exact, to only find out after they were placed, and I was about to pay that there is extra cost on toppings, and I just shelled out over $6 for their little cup. I'm not surprised, but I felt like maybe the staff should have said something before say all the toppings I wanted. Now, okay, I understand that sometimes you forget to say that, but I think that CS could have been better or feigned interest or a smile goes a long way too. -

Finally there is a Pinkberry close enough to me that I can indulge whenever I want!
They had a few flavors that were more unique and tasty than other yogurt places such as mango, blood orange and a few others. I really found their pearls, which were filled with juice so refreshing when you bit into them. I ordered the mini cup with toppings and it cost $5.50. Not the cheapest and definitely pricier than Quoola, but worth the tarty goodness.Listed in: Healthy Eats

I heard a lot of hype about this frozen yogurt place, so I decided to check it out. This is the second location in Canada and the first location opened in West Vancouver.
This latest Pinkberry opened just this month and there wasn't much of a crowd when I arrived. I've seen some pictures of locations in L.A. and the lineups stretched to outside of the sidewalks.
Ordering is easy. First, you pick your size. Second, you pick your flavour. You can have more than one flavour per cup. I ordered original and mango with fruits, mochi and pearls.
I told the lady behind the counter that I wanted all of the fruits. There were only watermelon, pineapple, strawberry, kiwi and blackberry. Pretty typical stuff. I didn't see exotic fruits like papaya, dragonfruit, goji berries. But, hey, where were the mango and blueberries? She told me that, "ahhh, I don't think it'll fit" Well, she could have at least put two pieces of chopped up fruits in the cup. Well, it didn't happen, so I only could choose 3 different fruits! Gimme a break. Seriously, I'm paying $6.22 for a small frozen with a tiny amount yogurt with toppings and you can't even give me more fruits!?!
I also got some mochi which is like fruity gummy candy. It does have a nice texture to it and it's not too sweet.
I told her that I wanted those pearls which look like fresh chum salmon roe. She said, "I can't give it to you because I'm really not allowed to put toppings in the middle of the cup, but I'll do it this time only".
The original flavour was tasted like watered down frozen crushed milk. The mango flavour had a very mild artificial mango flavour to it. It wasn't too sweet, but it was smoother than the original flavour.
I don't think I'll return to Pinkberry. It's seriously overpriced for so little frozen yogurt with a limited amount of toppings. -

Yup fully pulled an 80's high school suburban chick move and drove out to the mall with my friend so we could try the new fro-yo place.
Very tasty and very knowledgeable staff (cause clearly my friend & I were lost trying to order). Not sure it's worth the drive, but if you're in the mall and craving some ice cream like treat, I would definitely pop by. -

Not too shabby, I tried their original yogur
t.
They had a few flavours more than Quoola has going on, which is quite exciting. They had original, mango, peppermint, green tea and two others!
It's pretty pricey for yogurt though. The small cup I had was $5.50+ before tax.
I had a 3 toppings on there, strawberry (kinda mushy) kiwi and pink pearls.
Those pink pearls I was hoping they were like bubble tea pearls, instead, these are things that have a thin skin and 'explode' when you bite them..it was weird. LOL
It is nice that they have a mini size for kids or people who just want to try Pinkberry out.
Glad I didn't have to venture to Park Royal to try this stuff. YAY! -

The best "hun-cal froyo" is finally open in Metrotown! Available in 4 sizes, I opted for the mini, which is a perfect size, yet it's still just over $3 so it's not cheap frozen yogurt. The original yogurt was icier than I'm used to, but I have tried mango before too and that flavor is delicious - I will definitely get mango next time I get Pinkberry.
Toppings include fresh fruit, candies, chocolate, and more, all included in the price. Luxe toppings are extra. Try the juice pearls: small bubbles, available in strawberry or mango, that burst in your mouth and are filled with juice. Very yummy!
There's limited seating inside, but it's right by the food court so there's always a place to sit and enjoy your frozen yogurt. -

OMG. The 2nd Pinkberry in Canada is at METRO TOWN!! As usual I am extremely excited to go. Like the other Pinkberry opening in West Vancouver. I had to come to this one as Pinkberry is my favourite fro-yo chain. I can really see this place as a HUGE competition to Qoola, which is the other Frozen Yogurt in Metrotown. But, you know what? Pinkberry is iconic to the LA/SF area and it will be iconic to have it in the most iconic mall of all of Vancouver.
Anyways, onto the new Pinkberry. This is an extremely small Pinkberry, keeping close to the whole LA style of them all. None of the Pinkberrys I have been to are extremely big, or needs to be big. The same stone flooring as the one in Park Royal, but slightly different decor as the layout is different for the store. The same cute chairs and tables as usual. The most iconic colour is displayed in the mall as you can see it from across the food court. Everyone can tell it is right there. A great location as it is right beside the food court! Well done Pinkberry!
This time of the season they have Peppermint Holiday. It is a slight pink colour, but not pop pink or dark pink. It taste like the peppermint candies and it really does bring back the memories of eating one of those candies, except with less sugar and it is in a yogurt form, healthy, and delicious!! Totally without the guilt :3
I finally tried the bubble swirls. One thing I must say that it is SO CRAY CRAY!! Such a different experience, you must try them as they burst in your mouth. No really, they BURST in your mouth. I didn't want to sound dirty there and I need to get the elephant out of the room... LOL. The swirls are not sweet, but they add an extraordinary experience to the Pinkberry toppings.
I will be coming here for my take home sizes from now on as it is closer to the Vancouver district. Thank you Pinkberry for an amazing experience! I hope to see you guys soon again!! WOOT WOOT :D -

Super yummy! Not sure why it has low ratings. Service was quick, the people were friendly, and it tasted soooo good!
I had the original flavour, with granola and strawberry toppings (yeah, am not super adventurous ay?). But it was really good. I needed this bit of calm and tastiness amidst the crazy Christmas shoppers of Metrotown :) -

the new hot frozen yogurt spot. it's everything you want in a frozen yogurt place. friendly staff, we were able to sample whatever we wanted. it's a bit on the pricey side if you have it a lot, but a nice affordable treat once in a while. you essentially pay for a cup of frozen yogurt with the option of filling said cup with toppings as well. tasty.

A couple of my friends are really into Pinkberry, so I went to the opening at Vancouver's 2nd location, in Metrotown.
There is a good variety of yoghurt and ice cream. Peppermint and coconut are quite rich and delicious, though I'm not fond of the green tea. You pick your size, flavour and toppings, and the server will make it for you. You can even have more than one flavour of yoghurt/ice cream. There's plenty of fruit and chocolatey toppings, though I'm a big fan of the chewy mochi and the pearls.
The good thing about Pinkberry is the prices are set, so you're not surprised about how much you have to pay like at the places where the price is based on weight. However, I do prefer the freedom of adding my own topping in the quantity I want. I'll still frequent Pinkberry, but I think I still prefer Qoola. -

yum! I absolutely adore their frozen yogurts... The tangy flavour in these little treats are addictive!
minus one star for the speed of cashier - but I am sure it will improve over time! -

A surprisingly little shop near the food court in Metrotown Centre where its not until you enter the store do you realize it sells yummy frozen yogurt. I'm pretty sure they'd be even busier if they put a picture of their product outside their doors or at least around the entry way since if you're not looking you'd definitely miss the place. I enjoyed a small cup (versus cone) of fresh yogurt with mango. You can then request 'toppings' which are placed around the yogurt in the cup until there's no room in the cup. I chose: mango juice balls, watermelon, kiwi, and pineapple. With two smalls running about $13 it was a pricey but yummy treat. :)
