Long story short: I have returned to the store for the same item which was stolen from me 2 years ago.  The owner was extremely helpful in assisting me identifying the exact product I require given it is no longer in production nor available in-store.  He contacted the supplier directly for me and gave me the guarantee that he will get it delivered within weeks (did not ask me for down payment).  As promised, I received a telephone message 2 weeks ago and picked up my "once lost and now found" mermaid letter opener.  Excellent client service with brilliant follow up ability!  Bravo!

CTV news alert! Creative. Trendy. Vintage. Pieces offers a quaint store of local and Canadian made goods for the household and body. I adore the furniture (bookshelves, chairs, cabinets) in the store because they are old-fashioned with a vintage and rustic flare. Best part, you can buy these items as well! A gorgeous wooden white, gently worn bookshelf for ~$700. I wish I had these adorning my room *dream*

Organized within the beautiful furniture, there is a great selection of lovely gifts: metal keychains, candles, body lotion, jewelry, stationary, books, leather bags (Matt & Natt), and more.

Adore this shop... feel free to get lost in this small wonder.

    *Girlie Review Alert*

I may have been sporting a MEC rain jacket and puddle jumping around Steveston sans makeup, but make no mistake about it-- I'm a girl!

Stir a pinch of princess, a dash of nautical and a healthy dose of hostess-with-the-mostess and you've got Pieces! Any place fully stocked with Canadian made goods housed in antique white armoires (no doilies, thank gawd!), is a "must browse" in my books. Between local jewelry, pretty stationary and samsara (Matt & Natt's street brand), it's a no brainer when it comes to finding a girlie-gift for a friend or, as luck would have it, a new wallet for me! They even has a customer rewards program. Spend $200 or more and receive $20 on your next purchase!
