This semi new pizza place on Yew is definitely a good choice for decent grub at a reasonable price. I'm not going to lie, this review could have swayed either way when the caprese salad arrived. Beefsteak tomatoes diced (like you'd see in a Greek Salad) smaller sections of bocconcini, basil and EVOO. It looked like something you'd see at Boston Pizza or maybe in a kids cook book. Hmmm... lucky that the olive oil seasoning and freshness of the bocconcini saved the day. Although, I'd recommend just making this one at home next time.
No regrets on my pizza choice though: the Quattro stagioni pizza with mushrooms, artichokes, mussels, prosciutto, all on it's own section. A choice of whole wheat or white crust also made me a happy camper. Well, aside from the prosciutto which left something to be desired... or rather, something to be aired out - it smelled like feet to me. But $10 for a 10" pizza? That's a pretty good deal!
Happy to see R&B and Russel on tap along with a decent bottle selection. Service was slower but there was only one cook in the kitchen and a table of 8 that the one server was tending to. I'm thinking take away and the beach come summer! -

The food was tasty ..... but the waiter was eye-contact free and frankly, if you're going to work at an Italian restaurant you have to look at the people. The dude just didn't look at us after he took our order. I'm surprised he didn't poor water on my lap.
His attitude ruined my meal. I felt the waiter was angry at me for no reason entirely. My lactose intolerant belly couldn't handle the dessert choices either. I won't go back because I can make the same pasta. -

Go for the pizza! I've been here 3 times now, and the pizza has never disappointed. The pizza con spinaci is fantastic and the pizza al pollo is also very good. Really good value too, the prices are about the same as a chain pizza place but the quality is much better.
That said, you should probably avoid the rest of the menu. We had a pesto appetizer which was ridiculously small and not memorable, and my friend really didn't enjoy the pasta.
Order lots of pizza, avoid the rest, and you'll love this place.
