Let's start with a 4 star - I had a take out, so did not really sat down to check if the table was sani clean (why I said this, because this place has not been reno for a long time, a dated 90s look).  Anyway, let's get on with the food. For $8 (+tax) for a bowl of pho, it was pricey - but worth it.

Soup and everything was carefully packed.  Ingredients were fresh, lean beef (as described on the menu) and tasty broth.  It lost its star for the broth being salty by my taste (similar to a heavy dose of miso soup in comparison),

My pho sat in the fridge overnight, did not see a layer of solidified fat on top - like it.

Well having a take-out did wasted lot of plastic (glad they are recyclable).  Next time, just sit down and eat instead.

Overall, better quality than other pho I had recently.

    One Word: Awful!

The pho is not good at all here. The noodles are clumpy and the quality of the broth just isn't good. If the broth isn't good, nothing inside the bowl will make it taste better. My mouth feels dry from all the msg in the soup. This is one of the last places I will ever eat at. Why eat here when there's so many other Vietnamese restaurants that got better quality of pho.

I usually don't eat here unless there isn't anything else around and I need to get my pho fix.  There are plenty of pho restaurants on Kingsway with a lot better quality of pho, broth and service.

The only thing this place has going for them is that they are open 24 hours.  Late night pho binge?  You can get it here then.

    Worse pho eva!

The pho'od: Noodles were overcooked and clumped together in a giant bundle.  My gf got the beef stew with bread.  This is the weirdest beef I have ever tried.  The meat seemed to be super mushy but yet dry.  I really don't understand how they accomplish this, but I'm guessing it was stewed at a full boil and way over cooked.

The service was actually really good.  Food did come out pretty quickly and pricing is pretty good.  Also, 24 hours for all you suffering from insomnia.

Final pho'ought:  I mean, I have had better food here before late at night and it was decent.  Perhaps I was pretty drunk back then or maybe they caught a bad day.

The last time I was here was about 15 years ago.  Things certainly have and haven't changed.

The service was quick and efficient and though I don't have Pho these days, I did have a soup with veggies and meatballs and no noodles.  It wasn't bad, it might have been better had it not been for a bad hangover that was on it's way.

At 3am where else can you find food in this area?

I was a bit out of my element at my age here.  Most everyone was either in their late teens or 20's at this time of night.

We basically ordered our food and ate and left right after paying the bill.

But if you really crave for Pho, this is it at 3 am on a Saturday morning.

Late night eats until 5 am Fridays and Saturday. When you're craving that bowl of pho in the middle of the night, one option is to come here.

I got a lemongrass chicken with rice. It was ok, parts of the rice was a bit cold but at least the chicken was decent. It was probably too late to give a truly accurate review, but for 4am food, it shall suffice.

Fresh summer rolls with nice peanut and hoisin sauce, check.
    Firm pho, check.
    Tasty home made broth, check.
Solid meat selection including a good flank, brisket and a very tasty fatty flank, check.
    Vietnamese iced coffee, check.
    24 hours, check.
6-year old children eating supper at 10:30 pm, check?
The occasional low level pimp buying a 2:00 am bowl for one of his staff, check?

This is a solid East Side neighbourhood joint and the price is right too.

The best place to go in the middle of the night for a CRAVING of PHO!!

This place is open 24 hours and will always be to get great call for their customers! I enjoy this place a lot when in the middle of the night I just need pho to eat.

Their prices are just a bit expensive compared to most Pho places, but I don't mind if they are opened 24/7 just for that though. Taking shit all the time at night on Kingsway, I wouldn't mind paying a bit more.

I enjoy their soup base the most because it is acutally pure soup base taste of beef bones. It is not heavy filled with salt and it has great taste too. I love their beef flanks the most because they know how to cook it half way and then stick it into the soup to finish cooking. The beef flanks has that amazing taste of the soup then if it finished cooking in the soup base.

The noodles they have in the beef soup is amazing. It is not all that flimsy, it is brand new and hasn't been sitting in the soup for that long. It goes in your mouth with a little elasticity.

Their soup is always boiling hot when it comes to your table, so watch out. It is like that on purpose so it can cook the meat and your noodles perfectly.

I will continue to be their customer as their food and service is amazing.

Cure your hangover before it starts!

Now, I'm not necessarily the partyer type, but when my my gf from Chilliwack comes to town, crazy things happen. At 3 am, after a long night of event hopping, dancing and overall ruckus, we head for base camp. But my Wack friend is hungry (let's call her "Corrina") and craves Vietnamese food like Barbra Walters craves pool boys. Where to go after a long night of breaking it down? Easy. We beeline to Pho Hoa. There, pho, avocado shakes and grilled pork vermicelli bowls reign supreme as we down our hot piping meals and our eyes sag with sleep. The food coma kicks in shortly after and it's a euphoric experience filled with pleasant dreams of the motherland (or someones motherland at least).

Ho Chi Minh would be so proud.

*Disclaimer: I've only eaten here when I've been buzzed and/or famished at 3am. Does this matter? Maybe... ; )

Came by here for some late night eats a long while ago and was able to sample their bubble tea while trying a nice bowl of their Pho Dac Biet.  The pho was decent and the prices were cheap, but the ambiance was so quiet that I felt like I could hear echos of my own slurps from the pho while here.  The place was empty but it was like 2AM afterall.

I came back later in the week during dinner time and the place was still close to empty.  The food was solid, though I wouldn't consider it mind blowing.  There is better Vietnamese food out there, but if there is any redeeming value about this place its the late night hours.

The restaurant looks MUCH better after a re-painting and re-decorating (sort of).  The food is always a decent price and after a few times going there, the ladies know who you are, especially if you order the same things a few times!  :) hehe...

This is a good place for cheap but filling food. My favorite is their spring roll, noodle & grilled pork combo. It's a good place for a late night dinner or if you're in the mood for something simple and quick. The ambiance is somethig to be desired, but they are quick & prompt.

Only been here once and for a quick midnight snack. Pho available at night is one of the best things ever. The place is not too packed when we got there and it was the typical Asian crowd. Service is pretty nice and quick. I know, it doesn't take too long to prepare pho but still, it is nice to know they are quick with the service. Pho is never expensive and this place is the same. Cheap food overall. My buddy got this slush fruit drink from there that was really good too so thumb ups for that as well!

Very quick and 24 hour. I thought the broth was fragrant but a bit salty. Noodles cooked perfect, lots a meat  too! Heck, that's what pho is all about! Best bang for the buck is this joint. However, place is a bit dirty and ambiance is lacking and service is bla. Whatever...This place is all about the pho action.
