Wanted a bowl of hot pho on a cold day so we found ourselves here.

    A good bowl of soup.

Broth is decent although I have had better.  Noodles were over cooked though.

    Meat was nice and tender.

Will I be back?  Prob if I don't have time to drive to Burnaby!

I have had Pho at a couple of places in Surrey. This has to be one of the better locations. The restaurant is clean. My only nitpick is they have the reusable chopsticks. I'm not a fan of them. They are clunky sticks of plastic.

I had option #5: Pho with Steak and Flank. I didn't see any flank in the Pho. I was pretty disappointed. I didn't send it back because it's the same price all around for a large bowl of Pho. The meat tasted a lot better. Perhaps I pushed the meat down further and left it to cook longer?

"The Health Conscious" choice? Oh ehm gee, it might as well be Paula Dean spitting out that slogan. If I had a penny each time I was tricked into eating a bowl of MSG, Pho Hoa would make me rich!

I first found my deep love for this Vietnamese bowl of rice noodles, soaked in a bath of rich broth and topped off with texture- and taste-tantalizing condiments, at this location.

Pho Hoa might have been the force that broke me up with Hon's but its franchisey ways and use of MSG as a replacement for love have left me to slurp noodles out of others' bowls.
