I went here for the first time a couple days after getting my wisdom teeth pulled. The food was delicious but I felt as if I wasn't getting the full flavour so I went back again. It would seem that getting teeth pulled doesn't affect your taste buds too much because the food was still amazing.
Definitely plan of going back again. -

They used to be the only, and became my favorite Pho restaurant in the area. Now there are wider selections and while their rice plate selection is still one of the better ones in the area, their noodle soup is just meh.
Don't go early in the morning (when they've just opened)
They have this scene thing on (supposed to be for good luck), and it gave me a headache for the entire day.
staff is unfriendly (as they are in most Vietnamese places)
They used to be open 24 hours but few years ago they changed their hours so I think they are open only until midnight?
Anyway, it depends on your preference ... but this is not the pho place that I go to when I am craving for some, especially on a rainy day -

Pho, Pho, Pho. We decided to try out the Pho Hao as we were in the area and were craving some good Pho. The restaurant was busy which is always a good sign. The Pho was yummy. I would go back again if I was in the area and craving Pho.
The downside was that the service was extremely slow and they never served us our spring roles that we ordered. However, I am kind of thankful that they didn't as I was already full from my Pho. -

Pho Hao has always been a dependable favorite when hunger strikes and I've never had a bad meal eating there at least twice a month for the past five years.
The pho itself is tasty, inexpensive and familiar and there's plenty of menu selection to choose from if you're not in a pho mood. It's not adventurous fare for hard core foodies looking for bits and bobs of unusual offal floating in their soup, but everything is fresh and quickly done. A lot of the fun is left up to you so you can customize your pho with various sauces and tasty add-ons.
Definitely try the various rolls offered as the spring rolls are served crispy and hot and the summer rolls are chewy and fresh.
Service is basic and quick, but can get dicey when the restaurant fills up so it's best to come just before or after the dinner rush. If you're not in the mood to eat-in, everything on the menu is available as takeout.
There's many types of drinks for all tastes available ranging from fresh lemon soda (highly recommended on a hot day) to durian slushies. -

If you like Vietnamese cuisine I encourage you to try any Pho Hoa around the lower mainland. The pho is piping hot and the noodles and meats are tender and you can adjust the sweetness or spicy sauce to your preference.
Easy on the pocketbook Pho Hoa has a large menu to cater to everyone's tastes. -

Pho Hoa has been around for many many years! Its been our Pho place for many years until the selection of Pho restaurants became greater.
The food is very consistent here and like any franchise, it's the same as all the other Pho Hoa's internationally right down to the menu. You can not go wrong here. In fact, it's the same menu incorrectly numbered! Many choices to select from - pho and rice!
Waitresses are attentive and alert. Atmosphere is plain and somewhat clean but in no means dirty.
This particular franchise restaurant in Coquitlam is opened until midnight on weekends. Not many restaurants opened that late in the Tri-Cities area.
