This Petro-Canada station is small; there's only a handful of pumps. The place closes early and it's not a 24 hour service centre by any means. Paying for your gas can sometimes be an ordeal in itself. One time I prepaid for gas, only to have the clerk put the prepayment on the wrong pump, and someone else used the pump, and getting that sorted out was painful to say the least. Other times it is slow to pay here, especially with the debit card machine. If I didn't know better, I would think the debit card machine here doesn't want to work for me. And the whole place could really use a make-over.
But then, there a some definite positives. This Petro-Canada is close to home and that is really convenient. When the low fuel light comes on and you are close to home, this is a godsend. When someone else borrows your car and parks it back at your place with just fumes left in the tank, I can honestly say that this gas station has been a real lifesaver. They also sell bus tickets at this location, which is a big plus, as they are close to a bus stop on both the #12 and #3 bus routes. They don't always change the gas prices as quickly as other gas stations, which means that when I see the gas price up somewhere close by, I can often still come to this location and fill up at the lower price.
So I still keep coming here from time to time... I just make sure I pay with cash.
