Peter's offers awesome pizza, some of the best out there! I'd say not better or worse than Boston Pizza, just different. Variety is the spice of life as far as I am concerned. And spice, spice is an integral part of life's spiciness; but I digress.
Peter's also serves great donairs.
The rest of their menu is pretty pedestrian, standard small-town fare that is not very exciting, but our family goes there a lot because the older folks like the 'hot hamburgers' (Peter's is in touch with their demographic). I didn't even know what the heck a 'hot hamburger' was until I moved to Alberta... I thought all hamburgers were hot.
It turns out it is just a hamburger patty smothered in gravy. Did I mention the pizza is extraordinary? -

My first Peter's Pizza experience was pretty alright. The service was really great and friendly, and *drum roll* they have orange crush ! I drink way too many cups of this when I find it at a restaurant. Serious sugar crash in the evening!! I got to go for lunch with work so we got greek, a meat lovers and pep/mush/g.pep pizzas. Surprisingly these came out pretty quick regarding half the restaurant was full. These things were LOADED with cheese, so much that it kind of took away from the other toppings. The tomato sauce made up for it though, it had a nice spice to it and the crust was done perfectly. Not too dry or thick, purrrr-fect. I'd like to come back and try it again though because from what I've heard this place is a Spruce Grove staple.
