I am a puppy parent! A seasoned veteran of puppy ownership, while my partner was a little rusty (but has quickly regained his pupenting legs!)
The staff here have been very friendly and helpful. No question has ever been too basic or complex for them to answer. Their knowledge is great and they are happy to share it and offer any guidance that they can. If they do not have a product in stock, they are more than willing to call you as soon as it is available. (Shhh, they even told us to hold off on a larger purchase for an extra two days as it was about to go on sale. ;))
They remember our pup as well as the rescue we got her from! Always a little treat and some extra lovin' for our girl when we take her in.
While they aren't always the least expensive option, the time, attention and knowledge they are willing to share are worth the extra buck! -

This experience happened over a week ago and I am still so annoyed by it. It was a nice sunny Saturday afternoon when my husband and I decided to walk across town to check out Pet Planet. How quickly our lovely outing went to crap. I had been to Pet Planet once before and had a perfectly acceptable experience. This time, however, was horrific. The woman that "helped" us was the most pretentious, arrogant, stuck up snob that I have ever encountered in the customer service industry. As she started her arrogant rant, I thought to myself, "Man, if she shuts up now I'm still willing to drop a couple hundy in this store because they have some cute stuff." However, as you can probably guess, she didn't shut up. I ended up cutting her off and walked out the door pissed off and headed straight for PetSmart. (Which, btw, has the BEST customer service. They are so helpful and friendly.) The problem with the lady at Pet Planet is that she thinks she's a total expert on dogs and everybody else is stupid. If you are an expert, GREAT! Don't talk down to people and lose business over your inability to successfully communicate with people. So unfortunate. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere....(it will probably be cheaper elsewhere too.)
