I've been using this place for the last three oil changes. Extremely fast and reliable.
I'm glad I can get my oil change without being up-sold to replace my cabin filter. I went to Speedy one time and they took out my cabin filter without my asking, then showed me how "dirty" it was. I can change my own cabin filter, no thank you! I also had to wait a good 45 minutes. 10 minute oil change without getting out of the car...what a concept! -

These guys are great.
I was immediately greeted to get my oil changed. The process was fast and the worker even educated me a bit on my car. I was in and out in about 15 min! I love how i didn't even have to get out of my car. Def coming here again.
I knocked off a star because some of the workers can be a bit immature. -

All the great reviews about this place are true! The customer service was EXCEPTIONAL.
I opted for the service just above the basic service. After inspection, the person helping me (wish I caught his name!) told me all my fluids were full and didn't need topping off so he would just charge me for the basic service. WOW! So great to not be taken advantage of by a mechanic. He also gave me a lollipop for my antsy 2-year-old while we waited which I really appreciated.
I will be back for sure! -

I was really impressed with the level of service. The guy changing my oil was really friendly, straight forwards and seemed pretty honest. He got the correct fluids for my car (a hybrid... which takes some funky fluids) and advised me to change the transmission fluid (even though they didn't have the correct fluid to sell to me).
I was really impressed. I'd definitely go here again. -

I have been a customer of your Speed Oil Change Centers for at least the last 5 years. I am in outside sales and drive over 30,000 a year. I do my oil changes every 5000 miles so I do about 6 oil changes among other services with you a year. I normally go to your location in Sunnyvale at 2140 W El Camino Real.
Today, I had an unfortunate experience there at this location in Sunnyvale. I was treated very rudely by one of your employees. I asked him for the normal oil change and he asked if I wanted what I got last time. I said yes, change the oil, check all the fluid levels but do not do anything with the tires because last time they reduced my tire pressure to 29psi. At 29psi my low tire warning light goes on and I had to bring my tire pressure back up the normal 35psi. He said I did not know what I was talking about.
When I asked to talk to the manage. Michael came out. I told him that I had been coming there for 5 years and that I did not need all this grief. All I needed was an oil change and to check all the fluids. He started yelling at me and said that I truly did not know what I was talking about. They had been open there for only 2 years and that "I did not need to show my face in there again because they really do not need my business. And that he has personally work for this company 4 times longer that I have actually being doing business there."
I actually have used that location for my oil changes for even more than 5 years. Before Speedy Oil Change took that location over I did business with another company at that very location.
You have lost my business forever.
I am surprised to have to experience such rudeness over a mere Oil Change. In the these hard times you would think that being courteous to customers should be a top priority. -

These guys are great! They are really quick and always do a check on fluid levels and top them off if needed. The prices are really great that I even bring my BMW in along with my GTI. Definetally a customer for life. Not going anywhere else.

This is what the other oil changers are supposed to be. They were done in 10 min, checked the air cleaner and didn't lie and say it was dirty, measured the battery and figured out it was tired (it was), told me the serpentine belt was cracking and old (it was) and didn't push when I said I didn't want to get the work done.
The guy doing the work was friendly, but not over the top.
And the prices were reasonable. -

wow, I never thought I'd be giving an quick oil change shop more than 2 stars. Most of the other ones are notorious for their shady business practices, tricking or coercing customers into getting unnecessary services that may even be detrimental to the car.
Regular price is $30, but they have a $5 discount, so $25 for basic oil change. It took about 15 minutes.
I usually take my car to a real shop for oil changes, but I got tired to having to drop the car off and get a ride. Yelp comes to the rescue and helped me find Pennzoil Speed Oil Change Center. The customer service was shockingly professional and courteous. The manager explained everything clearly, stated the costs up front. They checked the air filter, but since my was relatively new, they didn't even try to upsell me for something I didn't need. At the end, he showed the dipstick reading and stated the quantity of oil they added.
I'll definitely be coming back here in the future. Good prices, outstanding customer service, and from what I can tell, honest. -

This place sent out envelopes marked "free gift inside." Inside there was a rubber glove. Whaaaaat? This was a trick designed to get us to open the envelope. If they had just sent me a coupon, I would have used them. But for trying to trick people, and for the environmental responsibility of surely sending out thousands of pieces of rubber that will go straight to the trash, I will be boycotting them. I encourage you to do the same.
If they want to try this kind of stunt again, I suggest they include a piece of gum or something people would actually use. -

Super fast. Competent, thorough work. Very reasonably priced ($25 for conventional oil). UNcharacteristically helpful customer service, w/ a smile! So easy, no longer will I find myself putting off oil changes.

I've always been pretty handy (and oft broke), so I've been DIYing my oil changes & basic repairs all my life... that is, until work life made my spare time too valuable. Since then, I've been on a quest for THE go-to oil change station, and seriously... THIS IS IT.
I've been to those "quickie" lube chains (overfills), the quick-service centers (sloww & inconsistent), even had my mechanic do it along w/ maintenance (too expensive). For the same BUCK as a haggled-down price at the quick-service stations, this place gives way more BANG, better, faster.
I came by early afternoon when there were no customers. The crew was standing in the lot taking a breather, but as soon as I pulled in, they immediately sprung into action; they actually jogged to their stations. Aside: I've gone to other lube shops when things were slow and they've always seemed rather unhappy I was "interrupting" their break-time. Here, I was blown away by how enthusiastic these guys were.
I opted for the high-mileage (conventional) oil for a still very reasonable $35.
While the dude below got to draining my oil, Marc up on the platform got my mileage and printed out one of those static-cling sticker reminders. He also checked the health of my battery, transmission fluid, air filter, and was genuinely *pleased* to let me know everything looked good, while he TOTALLY ACTUALLY CHECKED THE LEVEL ON THE FRESH OIL (as I stared in disbelief). It was glorious... like seeing a unicorn-pegasus fly alongside your window-seat.
Even with entering my info into the system, I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. My quest is now over. -

So fast, so curious. Seriously it was way too fast that I barely had time to sit down for a nap during lunch break. Now I'm curious to find out if they had actually done the oil change? hmm
Anyway, the service crew was polite, informative, the $25 they charged was decent considering it's an oil change only (no X-point check up). Did I mention they are fast?? -

Walked in for an oil change, there was no wait, I pulled my car into the garage.
Mechanic said "are you aware you have a bit of an oil leak?"
I said "are you aware this is a 15 year old Volkswagen?"
Mechanic laughed and said "Oh right."
15 minutes later, I had fresh synthetic oil and a happier car. -

After a hard drive up Hwy 9, I suddenly had that overwhelming feeling of guilt that my car was in desperate need of an oil change.
I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I pulled up and immediately they looked at my car (2008 MINI Cooper S) and wanted to check to make sure they had the correct filter. After telling me they did, they told me it was going to be 15 mins and I'd be good to go.
Turns out, they didn't have the correct filter, which SUCKS. But they drove to MINI of Mountain View to get the right one only to find out that the dealer switched locations. Instead of just saying "sorry, we tried...." the owner(?)/ manager drove to Stevens Creek in traffic and got the correct filter. He even (supposedly) bought a few more for when I come back.
In the meantime, the shop guys created small, fun conversation and it was a nice day so I just hung out and worked on my tan! Haha
The whole thing took about 1.5 hours instead of the advertised "10 minutes" but they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make me happy and get my oil changed.
They gave me a $5 discount for making me wait so long but I was blown away that they went through all of that trouble for little 'ole me!!
I have already gotten a few friends to go there and they had positive experiences, too! Needless to say I'll be back!! Hopefully I'll be in and out in under 20 minutes this time :)
I rated 4 stars because they didn't have the filter that they said they did (which a lot of people would be fed up with) , but 5 starts for SURE for making up for it!!! :) -

So last week (5/27) I came by for the 2nd time to get another oil change. My first experience was an A+ and so was this last visit.
JR who helped me this 2nd time around was great. Helpful and courteous and didn't try to push any unneeded items or services. I usually do my own car maintenance so I can appreciate someone who doesn't try to BS something on me.
I asked what was the best way to leave a good comment and he mentioned Yelp so here it is. Keep up the good work and I'm sure the customers and good reviews will keep coming in.
Just for the record, I live just a few blocks from the Homestead location but I chose to come here due to the better reviews. They really do make a difference. -

These guys are the best. Their prices are comparable... maybe a little pricey vs. what you can get with a coupon, but you cannot beat the customer service. I just went in on a RAINY, FRIDAY night, 10 minutes before they closed. I had no problems coming back at a later time, but Clyde insisted I pull in and get serviced. This is my regular place and they always take the time to greet returning customers by name. Everyone here is of the same vein. Excellent!

Every good thing written about this place is true!
I've gone twice so far, and both times the service has been phenomenal. I encouraged my partner to take his parent's SUV there, and he had nothing but rave reviews as well.
I love the punch card, since I commute daily I'll rack up a free oil change in no time!
The first time I went in I got a pretty expensive treatment (since I waited WAY past the oil light coming on to go in), and was really impressed that the next time I came in they suggested that I just get the basic since I'd done the full works last time - I love a place that doesn't try to oversell!
I'd gone to a place before this and they tried to sell me a brand new (expensive) part because they said something was leaking - these guys didn't mention it and the only thing they sold me was a new air filter (the first time, but said I didn't need it the second).
They're just great, completely unexpected and highly appreciated. -

This place is simply amazing and straight forward, I came in asked for an oil change and no questions asked. These guys are quick, changed my cars oil in less than 10 minutes and I was off. The workers are very informative, professional, and try there best to give you customer satisfaction. I will definitely return for another oil change.

This is what an oil change SHOULD be like. In and out in less than 30 minutes, friendly service, not too expensive ($25 for the basic oil change), and best of all, you don't have to listen to an annoying sales pitch!

Mixed bag review. The positive: First, I really like the fact that this station is FAST. On two separate visits I got an oil change and a smog test. In and out in 15 minutes or less each time. Second, the prices are generally good (with one exception, below). Third, the techs bring a level of competence that is sorely lacking at the competing "quick oil" chain.
The negative: First, I wanted the air filter changed. It's a standard part of the oil service but the techs said it was "too hard" to get to in my engine cover. Sounds like a lame excuse to me. (Maybe that's how they keep their 15 minute schedule? Decline to do anything that's not simple?) Second, there was a small up-charge for my "special" oil filter and a significant premium for synthetic oil. I went in knowing there'd be up-charges hiding behind the low advertised price and I was willing to pay them within reason. But an extra $30 to upgrade from dino juice to synthetic seemed excessive. -

I'm not sure what the last person was talking about.... I've been going to this place since they opened and love them! Oh and by the way they just opened up a little over a year ago. It was a different oil change company before that.
They are always courteous, professional and friendly. Of course it's going to take more time and money if you get extra services. DUH! But you always have the option to pass on any additional services. I have in the past and I have never been pushed to say yes to any of their suggestions.

So I found this place from yelp and I gave it a try. Here is the summarizing punch line: "Korean style diligence + American style competitive style + Japanese style Satisfaction Fullfillment".
I asked two services from them: Engine oil change + Wiper blades change.
Let me start with Wiper blade change. They sell Rain-X brand ones. I personally compared the prices aftermath. 26inch + 18inch ones are cheaper than http://Amazon.com price by $4.00. Amazing! They installed it, and brushed the front window, and tested new blades on the spot. Then they cleaned up all the left-over waters on the window by hand. You know, this style of service and customer satisfaction is everywhere throughout Korea and Japan. But it is extremely hard to see in USA. Here you can expect it.
Oil change; I mentioned Yelp and they gave out discount price. In my lifetime I had never changed my engine oil at approx. $20. before tax. And appraently they use Penzoil.
Finally the facility was pretty clean and offered free wifi access service. Okay, when one wants to change your engine oil, what can I expect more?
I am pretty glad to find this place. I wish all other auto service stores upgrade their service level up to the half of this place. -

Well, to say a little more... they do have a frequent customer card which eventually gets you a free basic oil change. And they do have a nice referral program for your friends, but it works if you have two cars too.
I did bring two cars here on the same day to get oil changes and the only oddity was that the first technician wouldn't make eye contact with me. A little weird, like either I wasn't worth his time or he was just bored-to-death. The second technician was much better. -

Fast and Courtes and great people skills, too!
Drove in this morning at 8:15, out at 8:35.
Mike greeted me, took good care of my old minivan, did not try any funny un-needed sales pitches... (yay!)
Had a good conversation while the job was done, showed me the dipstick, told me I needed just a tad of transmission fluid (that he topped) and out we go...
Can you ask for anything more than this ?

Whoa, where did this place come from?! I never really noticed it before but gave it a shot over the weekend. Incredible customer service!!
The gentleman working there taught me how to reset the factory "change oil" light on my car. He also offered to install some burned out light bulbs for free on my next visit, just need to bring in the bulbs. That is the kind of old school service that you just don't get any more.
Other highlights, I didn't have to get out of the car. Plus, he didn't try to up-sell me on a bunch of crap that I didn't need.
The best part was on my way out I mentioned to the guy that this was amazing customer service and his reply was, "What...did you think you were coming to Jiffy Lube?" and that totally cracked me up.

After dealing with a very bad experience at the local Toyota dealership, I thought I would try these guys out. The reviews could not have been more accurate. I called to ask if they knew how to reset the "check engine" light on my Toyota FJ, and the tech who answered the phone was sure he could do it.
I went by during lunch, sure enough the reviews were right! The oil change took less than 10 minutes, they reset the engine light, and also suggested to change out the cabin filter. Keep in mind, they NEVER pushed me to change it. They just said, "It's a little dirty, so when you're ready to change it just let us know". I went ahead and told them to change it since I was already impressed with the service. NICE JOB guys!!! -

I have been to many oil change places and these guys are top notch. Great customer service, efficient, local (to me) and they even did a head / tail light check to make sure that all my lights were working. My licence place light was out so they fixed it and at a good price too. You guys just saved me a fix it ticket.

I LOVE this place. I went at lunch time and got a full service oil change in about 15 minutes. I enjoyed the short wait at a nice clean looking patio table and chairs. I had even brought a sandwich and book thinking that there was no way I'd be done as fast as they claimed. They really are speedy.
The technician was very polite and professional. I asked them if they do smog checks. They don't, but they gave me a coupon for the guy next door. -

Thanks Yelpers!! I've officially found my go-to oil change spot in Sunnyvale based on your reviews!
After I read the reviews, I went and got my first oil change there today. Right now they're doing a special where the basic oil change is about $25, cheaper than other pennzoil speed oil change centers at around $30. But when the special is over, you can always go to the website and print out a coupon.
It only took ten minutes and I sat in my car the whole time! You don't even have to get out to pay, they can do it all while you wait in your car (if you want, you can wait in the lobby area). Matt provides great customer service...complete, fast, efficient. He answered all the questions I had and showed me the dipstick afterwards to prove the oil level was sufficient. At the very end he gave me a referral coupon. If I refer someone, they get a steeply discounted oil change, and in return I get $15 off any future service.
Five stars for a five star neighborhood business! -

It's not worth the trouble to change my own oil when Pennzoil can have it done in roughly 20 minutes for only a few bucks more than what I would spend if I did it myself. I asked for Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic 5w40 and they promptly filled up the oil all the way to the top of the dip stick. I enjoyed my time there, chatting with the tech about various car mods and performance parts that we're getting on our respective cars. I will continue to come back for my scheduled changes!

So the clowns at our office lube (ya know, change the oil in your office parking lot) never carry 20-50 oil anymore so was scouting for new place on the way to work and found this joint on Yelp. Must've passed this place a hundred time and never noticed. So tried it out last week....
Only one other car there so the manager pulled me right in. Told 'em I wanted just an oil change, took my info and mileage. Only thing they tried to upsell was for high mileage oil but just asked for regular 20-50 and it was a done deal. I was out in front of the stall talking on the phone and yes, they did change the oil and did it very quickly. My oil plug was a little bunged up from bottoming out one too many times. They didn't have one in stock but said they would order one and put a note in my account to change it out at my next oil change. For free. Also mentioned I had some oil leaking from my oil pan and power steering and to have it checked out with a mechanic (knew about this before I went there).
They threw in the $5 coupon discount so it was only $24.99 and was out of there in less than 20 minutes. With oil at $4 a quart, I think it's pretty damn good service for the price (this coming from a guy who used to do all the work on his cars years ago). Another 5 or 6 bucks and they will check all your fluids and tires too. I will be back... :) -

I found this place on yelp and decided to go here based on the good reviews. I was very pleased with their good customer service. I got the coolant in my car flushed and they were soooo quick! It only took like 30 mins! I will definitely be going back!!!

After hearing from everyone that Jiffy Lube completely rips you off and sucks I decided to go to this place. This shop just opened and replaced the Oil Changers that used to be there that I've used before.
This place is great! The oil change part really does take 10 minutes. I think it took longer for me to drive in and do the payment stuff!
The technicians are very professional and polite. It was an enjoyable experience. Hard to say for anything that deals with cars. They also did a free check of the fluids and filled the air in the tires, something I should be doing myself but am too lazy to. They also showed the dipstick with clean oil to ensure you actually got the service.
Great place and super fast all for under $30. Will do business again (probably because they also give out frequent visit cards, I'll most likely let my friends and/or family use em as well). -

What can I say? Fast and affordable oil change. They commented on my transmission fluid, which was nice and brown, and since that was about the 4th time I heard that, I got that changed as well. The only complaint is that I had them change my wipers (they replaced with Rain-X) and the wipers kind of suck. Streaky despite being new, might've gotten crappy pair?

Best oil change experience I have EVER had.
I was looking for a new place to get my oil changed because I had a horrible experience at the last place I had gone to close to my work (way overpriced, dirty place AND it took them approximately and hour when I was one of the only customers...)
Anyway, back to the good stuff. I called this place to find out if they had any specials or deals after seeing all the amazing reviews on yelp. The lady who answered the phone was very pleasant AND informed me that they currently have a $25 basic oil change special (I was sold).
Upon arrival I was greeted by Jr. He was super friendly, informative and not pushy. I was able to stay in my car and get work done as they were changing my oil. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Plus, they give you a referral slip to give to your friends AND and frequent buyer card!
Bravo for amazing service! I will definitely be back! -
