very nice bar just north of carlton on church.
located on the 2nd floor with a horse...erm...pegasus on the emblem at the entrance=)
there are few pool tables, darts and lots of seating at the bar and an area with few tables and chairs separate from the bar.
lots of screens around that were showing funny ads/shorts, music videos, motivational phrases and at some point even game of trivia where everyone could participate. in other words - no time to get bored even if you're there all by yourself=)
we were a group of about 10 ppl and easily found a spot to sit at 10pm on saturday night.
there is no waiter service but the bartenders at the bar are super nice and we had a very nice conversation about how the day passed, what movies we saw and in general we left with a nice feeling that we were very welcomed at the bar=) -

Can be missed as it is an upstairs Gay friendly place. Entrance next to Xtra location.
Great bar staff especial Michael. Good place to meet people and play a little pool. Bar snacks at happy hour.

Pegasus is a fully licensed bar and lounge located at 489b Church St. south of Wellesley in the heart of the Church Street Village. We are equipped with four professional pool tables, pinball machines, electronic dart boards, Buzztime trivia and Texas Hold'EM, Megatouch games, Wii Sports Resort and HD-TV. We are proud to boast a great atmosphere, an energetic and courteous staff that have ensured our success over the past sixteen years. History
Established in 1994
In the early 1990s, the Church Wellesley area in downtown Toronto was an up and coming destination area. Not only for locals, but for visitors to Toronto as well. The owners of Pegasus On Church first named the bar Pegasus Billiard Lounge as the bar tied into the billiards craze of the era. Pegasus opened with 6 professional pool tables. As time passed the owners realized that many people wanted to use the premises more as a bar than a pool hall. We removed 2 pool tables and redesigned. Currently we are the 2nd oldest bar on Church St.. Pegasus has become a real neighborhood friendly place to meet and be with friends.
Meet the Business Owner: Robert K.
Always entrepreneurial. Having worked in various Government IT positions as an analyst and manager for 14 years, Robert decided to open Pegasus On Church with his partner Michael. Five years after opening and operating Pegasus On Church, Michael and I decided to open another another business in downtown Toronto. It too is very successful.
