    Are you kidding me?!

Growing up in an Italian American household I've had my fair share, and your fair share of amazing 15 course meals.  None like this. My mind and belly are still trying to process everything that happened at that table last night.  A few highlights were the fresh burrata and roasted red peppers, grilled octopus, calamari in red sauce, butterflied shrimp, charred grilled steak.. I could go on but I wont.  The point is, get your azz to this place.

We order here on a regular basis - often enough to notice that the quality of the pizza is not consistent.
When it's bad, it looks like someone poured a can of water/oil mix on it and sat on it for a while. It's soggy, floppy, not baked through and you could actually scoop it up in the middle.
When it's good, it clearly A+ good, like super crusty, good tomato sauce, fresh ingredients, wanna-eat-more-good. So good that we keep on ordering.
And it's not like both pizzas look the same way. You could have one good and one bad so my initial idea of testing each day of the week and find out which day is the bad one, does not work.
The pasta dishes are also very good, but I avoid the ones with only tomato sauce because it tastes somehow out of a can,

I would give 4 star if the pizza were consistently good.

The pasta here is stick-to-your-ribs, traditional, Italian red sauce style cooking.  Portions are tremendous.  I felt like I was eating calamari for days (the best kind of days).  I've had the spaghetti (alright) and the bolognese tagliatelle (s'ok).

But you don't really come here for the food.  You come here for the atmosphere.

Your Soprano-loving, Mafia-Wives-closet-watching, Desperate-Housewives-of-New-Jersey-guilty-pleasure self will love staring at the throngs of Italian families gathered around banquet-sized tables.  There will be a dozen of these table arrangements in the restaurant.  You will then observe how one table after another celebrates their birthday - the music will blare loudly, there will be much clapping and fanfare as platters of Italian desserts arrive to their tables in quick succession.  There will be laughter.  It will sound like, "BAHAHAHAHAHA."  It's quite a sight.  It's quite a delight.

    I want my birthday here.

Man. Do I love this spot. Perfect hidden location in south Williamsburg, delivery is always fast and the spot itself is cute!

The food is so yummmmmm! The Buffalo Wings come in a sauce that is half buffalo, and half, like, blue cheese or ranch. Amaze. Love the pizza too.

I eat Italian a lot at home, gotta love the Italian heritage, and I never really enjoy Italian restaurants. However, this place is super dope. I was dragged along as third wheel, but I had a blast. Great food, excellent service, and I loved the atmosphere. I went on a friday night around 9 pm and we had no problem getting a table for 3. I had Buccatini all Positano (clams and grape tomatoes with garlic and oil), and it was perfect.  We also shared an appetizer of mozzarella stuffed with ricotta which I've never had and I loved it. I'll definitely be returning.

Mr: We sat down for a late lunch and got the following items.
    1) Bread - Amazing...couldnt get enough of their seasoned olive oil as well.
    2) Calamari - Best calamari i have ever had!  It is lightly breaded yet still crispy.  You dont even need to dip it in marinara or put lemon on it...it is that good.
    3) Split a pizza with Mrs.  Wasnt bad.  Great cheese!  However next time we are going to try their pastas since they looked amazing.

Service was also great.  I cant say enough good things about them.

I don't get it.  This place continuously disappoints.  They keep proving the only dish worth ordering is a panini, which usually are fantastic and worth the price.  Every entree and pizza I've ordered here has been horribly sub par.  Today I ordered a mixed salad with chicken.  What I received was a huge pile of brown lettuce with chicken, one grape tomato, a few red onion slices and two olives for $12.  I'll still come back for the chicken broccoli rabe panini, though ask for light oil cause it's usually dripping in olive oil.

There are a few reasons why I was a bit hesitant to write a review for this place.

Reason number 1:  Some people here on yelp think they're pretty cute by trying to write reviews like me....I don't wanna give them any more of my stuff to ape....but whatever, I'm a giving man.....just remember to give credit where credit is due.

Reason number 2...and more importantly:  I kind of want to keep this place to myself...and yes, I'm aware that it's always full and sometimes it's hard to get a table...that doesn't mean it isn't mine.  You go in there and you can smell me all over the place (i smell like pesto sauce, but exactly!)

Patrizia's is easily my favorite italian in New York.  It's really close to my HUGE apartment so my driver doesn't have to work overtime getting me there and the food is UNREAL.

I defy you to go in there and then try to leave once your meal is done.  Seriously, I dare you.  I'll bet any amount of money that you can't because the good folks over at Patrizia's won't LET you leave.

You're too full, you say?  Too bad...you're getting dessert...or another glass of wine...or some lemon cello (sp?) and most likely, you aren't paying for it because Patrizia's is just THAT good.

I think my cAAPS LOCK is brokEN....

I LOVE this place. Be prepared to wait a bit (even if you have a reservation), but the staff will gladly serve you and your guests wine while you wait. You will probably be drinking that wine out of plastic cups, but who cares? It's gratis!

I've been here twice now - both for large group bday dinners - and Patrizia's excels in that department in my opinion. Something like $60-70 a head and you get unlimited wine and food. You don't get to select your food off the menu which some might view as a downer, but they bring you so many options, I guarantee everyone will find things that they like. For example, last time I was there the appetizer course consisted of fried calamari and spicy tomato sauce (awesome), fresh mozz, peppers, capers, tomatoes and artichokes in olive oil, seafood salad, beets and goat cheese, and shrimp cocktail.

Next course was what I like to call, "fried stuff with cheese and assorted seafood". There were small pizzas (just ok), eggplant parm, stuffed mushrooms, fried artichokes (YUM), baked clams, shrimp in garlic butter sauce, and mussels.

Next up was the gigantic plate of lobster. I am not one to go ripping apart a claw, but fortunately for me my friends will. The lobster on my second visit was not as meaty as the first time around, but still if you're not at least somewhat full by this point I'd be surprised.

Next course (yes theres more) was the pastas. They change daily I believe, but the last time I was there we had tortellini in vodka sauce which was really good, and ravioli.

Onto the meat course! This was the last and final salty course. Desserts are last. I'm not even kidding when I say I think they changed our plates about 6 times. And we went through about 8 bottles of wine. And they're the industrial-sized bottles. As I was saying...the meat...this time we had pork and chicken marsala. Chicken was good, but pork was way better. Very tender and flavorful. Honestly you'll be so full by now you'll probably only have room for a sliver, but it will be a good sliver.

If...you...can...fit...any...more...food....make it the cheesecake or tiramisu...or the nutella crepes. Ok I cant resist dessert. Just force something down your gullet and wash it down with some espresso or a cappuccino. You will likely be drunk and stuffed, but you will be happy.

Also a few more things to point out - this place is very family-friendly and old school. Its a mix of young and old, but you won't get a lot of that Williamsburg "scene" in here if that's what you're looking for. I live in Williamsburg and I dont even like that "scene" most of the time so this place is one of my favorites in the neighborhood. It can get kind of loud though due to the large groups (read: my friends and I), and do yourself a favor if it's a weekend - make a reservation.

5 stars all the way! I came here for a birthday dinner the other day. We did things family style and had them bring in whatever and every dish they served was absolutely amazing!!

Food - Superb! All of the dishes they served us was fantastic. The baked clams, soft shell crab with fried sardines, lobster, lamb, pasta, pizza, seafood salad, and desserts were all heavenly delicious!

Drinks - We had a few bottles of Pinot Grigio and some of us had several bottles of Peroni beer. While we were having our desserts, they also brought us a bottle of Sambuca, Lemoncello, and another liqueur I can't remember.

Service - The best and the most friendly! From beginning to end, all of the waiters here are extremely friendly. They made all of us felt very welcomed. The service here is absolutely outstanding. It has to be one of the biggest highlights here other than their delicious food.

Verdict - If you're a open minded person when it comes to food, have them bring you their kitchen to your table. You will definitely leave Patrizia's with a full stomach. If you're one of the picky types, go home and order from Dominos. If you love great Italian food and desserts, this is your go to spot. Your first experience here will be a memorable one!

I have to be honest. Sometimes the Williamsburg food scene just becomes a little too much for me and that's when this place is a breath of fresh air. Crowd seems to be less Williamsburg locals and more families from all around Brooklyn.

This is the quintessential "local Italian" restaurant, the place your coach took you after games with big tasty pizzas, pitchers of sodas and a loud but familial atmosphere. Their food really is great. Pizzas are fresh, pastas are wonderful. Only thing I don't recommend is the artichoke appetizer as the portion is small for  the price. Everything is shareable.

Be careful -- there's usually a wait on Friday and Saturday nights.

Was here last night for a friend's birthday and we ate family style. The meal included   A caprese salad, caponata, eggplant Parmesan, risotto balls, calamari, grilled lobster, flank steak, chicken and pasta in vodka sauce. We also had a variety of wine, sangria and beers. The food was really hearty and homestyle. And the service was friendly and prompt. There's also valet parking which is nice. Beware, it is VERY crowded on weekends for dinner.

I moved to Williamsburg a little over a year ago, and I am so disappointed that I never realized that this gem was right around the corner from my house.  My fiance and I have been ordering food from here for the past 4-5 months, and we love it so much that we decided to have our rehearsal dinner there.

F*&*ing phenomenal!  24 people.  Went off without a hitch.  A completely reasonable price for an insane amount of food.  The service was understate-ably excellent.  I've been bartending for over a decade now, and I know the service industry.  If you can take it from anybody, you can take it from me, you will NOT be disappointed.  I don't know if they're putting crack in the food or what, but I've never once been even slightly let down.  Everyone says they treat you like family, and it's the truth.  It's like f&*(ing Cheers in there.   A+ around for the whole shebang.  I could go on, but the bottom line is that this place is one of the best in Williamsburg.

Patrizia's serves the best Italian meal I have ever had in my life.  It is not a meal...it is a life changing experience.   I recommend you go with a group of at least 4 and order the tasting menu (costs $55 per person).  It is not on their dinner menu but it is what Patrizia's is known for. This mind blowing experience lasts about 2.5 hours and consists of nonstop food and beverages being served.

First off for your $55 you are given  unlimited wine, sangria and beer.  1.5 liter bottles of whatever wine you like and pitchers of the sangria are replaced when empty.  I've never gone for the beer, as to save room for the ridiculous quantity of food they bring out, but they seem to have a reasonable selection (heineken, sam adams, etc).

Both times I've gone about 18-20 different food items are brought out to be eaten family style at the table.  Somehow Patrizia's hits on every course.  The bread they bake in their coal oven served with perfectly seasoned olive oil is reason enough to go.
    Other courses included:
-homemade mozzarella stuffed with homemade ricotta (amazing)
-Cold salads (cherry tomatoes & olives, eggplant caponata, seafood salad w/ calamari, mussels, octopus)
-fried eggplant w/ melted mozzarella (very good)
    -meatballs
-rice balls w/ zucchini (super creamy, cheesy and awesome)
    -homemade mini pizza
    -grilled octopus w/ potatoes
-mussels and little neck clams in garlic, oil & white wine broth
-fried calamari tossed in a spicy fra diavlo sauce (outstanding)
    -Grilled jumbo shrimp scampi
    -Whole lobster oreganata
    -baked clams
-Homemade Pasta pockets stuffed with ricotta in a pink, mushroom sauce (insanely good)
    -Homemade cavatelli in a ragu
-They finish with a meat course. One time we had a T-bone steak another time lamb chops and skirt steak

I can not overly stress how well each dish is prepared and served.  The steaks and lamb chops were cooked perfectly.  The homemade pasta is light and delicious.  The seafood is all on point and outstanding.

To top it off they bring out a dessert platter with cheesecakes (NY & Italian), chocolate crepes, amaretto cake, cream puffs and more....it's completely insane. With your dessert platter everyone is given choice of cappuccino, espresso, coffee.  In addition a bottle of sambuca is just plopped down on your table to be used as you see fit.

The service is really great as well.  The wait staff is friendly and are on top of everything bringing out clean plates when needed.  The ambience is nice as well.

If you arrive and there is a wait for a table you are given complimentary wine and pizza slices as you hang out. Both times I have arrived early (around 5:30-6) once on a Friday and once on a Saturday and there was no wait for a table.

The amount of food is incredible. I can put down my fair share of food  and I was overly/uncomfortably stuffed both times...so pace yourself and ask to have things wrapped up if you want.

This is hands down the best meal I have ever had.  $55 for this quantity & variety of perfectly prepared food coupled with unlimited wine, sangria, beer is an amazing deal. You won't be disappointed....you will be basking in the glow of this incredible experience for quite some time.

    One word.....AWESOME !!!!!!!!!

Every time I have been here, I have been wowed, starting with the bread and the olive oil for dipping, in fact, its addictive, its like heroin, last time I was here, I wound up eating the whole basket before my appetizer ever arrived. If you try the bread and the dipping oil, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STOP !!!!!!

I've had various dishes here the last few months, and every single solitary one was great, in fact, I now order something different every time I am here, simply because I always feel like if I don't, I'll miss out (which is why I am trying to come here more often).

This is an unsung place, that, for those who know, is actually one of the best in the city, you can't go wrong, you can try, you will fail. Order anything, its going to come out great, its a no doubter, slam dunk place.

Downside, some nights it can be a pain to get a reservation, I wish they had open table.

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary here a few nights ago. We'd heard from a relative of mine that the place was great so we decided to check it out.

It was a Friday night, approx. 730PM and we were seated within 10 minutes. While we were waiting the host gave us a taste of wine and a place to sit.

The oil for the bread (and the bread itself) was amazing. I could eat my weight in that (and almost did!)

    Salad was good.

Appetizer was the Eggplant Tower, which was good although I expected more melted cheese on it. There was definitely ricotta, but it was more so just the filling you'd get in stuffed shells.

For dinner I chose the penne a la vodka, which i brought home in a doggie bad and had leftovers.

Overall, I will be returning. Our service was positive, the food was plentiful and the sangria we had was also great.

What first started out as a maddening experience, ended with two very satisfied customers.

We were told on the phone to come in instead of making reservations, but the hostess told us the opposite when we arrived. We were told the wait would be about 30 min so we stayed. The restaurant got more and more packed, to the point where I had to stand directly behind another diner.

I was really about to lose it when we finally got seated an hour later. The staff was so friendly and apologetic. They really do treat you like family. Their great attitude helped erase my hypoglycemic frustration.

The food was awesome! My husband got the 2 lb lobster special (only $25!). It was swimming in butter, peppers, garlic, and parsley. I had mozzarella-stuffed gnocchi, so light and fluffy! We got a tiny pizza on the house plus the usual bread and dipping oil. To die for! It was hard to hold back and save room for my entree.

Unfortunately we live about 3000 miles away, but we'll definitely be coming back to Patricia's on our next visit.

One of NYC's best pizza places, right in Williamsburg!

Last month, the gf & I strolled over to Patricia's after checking out Brooklyn Flea's Smorgasburg on a Saturday afternoon.  After taking a look at Blue Bottle Coffee and Radegast Beer Hall, I was reminded that there was a highly recommended pizza place near the Williamsburg Bridge, if we kept walking further down on Berry, towards Broadway.

Patricia's seemed like an ordinary Italian restaurant.  They were showing soccer on TV and families were enjoying a late lunch.  There was lots of seating indoors, with some tables outside.

We sat outside and ordered an Arugula Salad ($8) and a Margherita Pizza (small, $10), good for two people.  We were already full, so didn't order much.  The salad was good, and the pizza was excellent, especially for the price!  It was a brick oven pizza with a soft doughy crust.  I prefer softer crusts to hard dry crusts.

I had known about Patricia's for 2 years, but I can't believe it took me that long to finally try it.  It was well-worth the wait.  I can't wait to go back.

Great stuff.  After traversing the Williamsburgh Bridge, I met a friend and broke my daily fast with a Carrettiera and Maradona pie.

They have great outdoor seating which really is wonderful on a balmy near-summer night.  And the staff is extremely friendly and attentive.  They gave us two half-gallon pitchers of iced, lemon water so we would not die of dehydration.

The Maradona was a wonderfuly scrumptious pie.  The sauce was slightly sweet which I love on pizza to offset the savory and salty portions.  And the Carrettiera exquisitely paired broccoli rabe with Italian sausage.   That combo can almost never go wrong.

I did want to have the Italian cheesecake, but my stomach was too distended to even dare try it.  Still a bit distended this morning, actually.  Hence, I did not play myself and walk over the Brooklyn Bridge shirtless to work as I normally do to get some rays on my bare skin.  Oh, well.

    The sun'll come out
    Tomorrow
    Bet your bottom dollar
    That tomorrow
    There'll be sun!
    Just thinkin' about
    Tomorrow
    Clears away the cobwebs,
    And the sorrow
    'Til there's none!
    When I'm stuck a day
    That's gray,
    And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
    And Grin,
    And Say,
    Oh
    The sun'll come out
    Tomorrow
    So ya gotta hang on
    'Til tomorrow
    Come what may
    Tomorrow!
    Tomorrow!
    I love ya
    Tomorrow!
    You're always
    A day
    A way!

Okay.  Don't know where that came from.  I just felt compelled to bust into song.  And no, I don't follow Glee.

Uh-mazing Italian restaurant we discovered walking through Williamsburg. The service is impeccable and while fast, we never felt rushed. The house salad was a wonderful start and accompanied by a grilled bread with a deep bowl of olive oil and spices. The stuffed artichokes were crisp and full of flavor and we finished with a skillfully prepared buffalo cheese and grape tomato pizza.

Many of the nearby customers were regulars and engaged us in wonderful conversation. When we told the waiter it was our first time, he brought us a complimentary foccacia (sp?) and a chocolate pastry for dessert.

    We will be back soon!

've found many of the Italian eateries in Williamsburg spend a great deal of time on the ambiance of the establish much to the determent of the food they intend to serve. Such is not the case at Patricia's. Some might be thrown but the bright lights of the dining room, but to those of you who enter, prepare yourselves for the best eating this side of Italy.

Giacamo, Joey, and the staff have made us feel welcome every time we have come in to eat. Anything I have ordered, be it the pizzas or pastas from the menu, or any of the rotating special items come to the table freshly made to order, tasting of the highest quality ingredients. I would pit their pizza against almost anyone else's in a Best of New York Poll.

The paninis bread is baked in-house in the same brick oven that the pizzas are made in.  The Tuscan bean and tuna salad panini is awesome, made the mediteranean way with olive oil instead of mayonaise.  I liked it so much I had it like ten-days in a row for lunch and it was so big that I ate the other half for dinner.

I also sat in for lunch a couple of times and everything I had was superb. The squid appetizer, the mozz and tomato salad, pasta and pizza are all winners.

Service is engaging and generous.  They won't let your wineglass get empty and comp whole bottles of wine like you're family.

    Go.

My grandfather was born in Brooklyn to Italian immigrants. He also owned a family-run Italian restaurant for many years. Needless to say, I am picky about my Italian food.

When I walked into Patrizia's for the first time, I knew I had found the Italian restaurant I had been looking for. Based on the intoxicating smells and the clientele/staff of Brooklyn natives, I was immediately sold. I didn't mind waiting 30 minutes for a table, especially with that free glass of wine they generously offered my date and I.

The beauty of a great Italian meal is the simplicity. It's not about fancy names and a high price tag, but rather high quality ingredients used in perfect harmony. We were immediately impressed with the bread and olive oil dipping sauce. Is there anything better than dunking freshly baked bread in perfectly spiced olive oil? The calamari is lightly fried to perfection... The shrimp parmesan is a delicious and interesting twist on my favorite dish... The baked ziti is a perfect comfort food... I just can't rave enough about how much I love this place.

The service here is attentive, but it's more of a "kick back and stay a while" type of place. Great for groups and fun dates, but not really romantic.

Dined at Patricia's for lunch and dinner about six times. It is simply one of the best places to eat in the Greenpoint/Williamsburg area.

The food is wonderful. The service is friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable.

They start you off with a basket of warm focaccia bread and delicious dipping oil. The menu offers many choices, from brick oven pizza, to salads, pastas, chicken, veal, fish. I have had their specials on several occasions and have been impressed each time.

One of the things I love about this place is their friendly and generous service. If you have children, they give the kids some pizza dough to mash. They also have a kids' menu.

Patricia's is definitely the place to check out...and soon as they are getting more and more popular by the day.

The food is quite tasty. Recommend the pizza and wine. The service varies every time I go.

    Notice I said every time.
Despite the the size, service and wait on a Friday or Sat. night; I enjoy the family style dinner we usually go with.

For $50 I walk out stuffed with purple lips(wine).

Good casual place but if you are short of patience and hungry, I'd say try to avoid on Fri and Sat night.

    Happy eatings.

    Ordered Arugula Salad
    Spicy Spaghetti with Spinach.
Arugula was lifeless, TONS of powdery parm and oregano.. YUCK
Asked if the Balsamic Vingarette was made in house or if it was just vinegar. He said it was made it house.. but I was given plain balsamic.. with no oil....That does not constitute a 'vinegarette"

Spinach was over cooked and didn't seem fresh( very dark green)
Pasta was spicy as ordered, but i have ordered Spicy pasta from several places, and this was too spicy( which is hard for me to say)

They were surprisingly speedy. Said 30-45. Delivered in about 20-25 minutes.

I will not be ordering take out from them again.

We had a situation which required us to eat in Williamsburg.. Under time constraints, i remembered reading two good recommendations on Chowhound.. The deal was sealed when i discovered the nearly perfect ratings on Yelp.. We found a restaurant that we feel pretty much used all of Food Service products.. Everything seemed like it was essentially taken from the can and reheated.

The meal started ok enough.. A fairly decent version of calamari.. So this shows they had a deep fryer, whether or not they had someone breading calamari or just opening a frozen bag of food is up for debate.

    Arugula Salad:
Arugula salad was the best thing we had.. The greens were fresh. However, this is nothing to get excited about.. It tasted off, we used the lemon from the calamari plate which added some citrus..

The artichokes:This is when shit got ridiculous.. This is when my previous suspicions brought on by seeing Buffalo Wings and Coconut Shrimp on a menu, were confirmed.. We ordered the stuffed artichokes.. I am all into creativity, i am all into switching it up or deconstructing things.. What I am not into is someone opening a can of pickled marinated artichokes and throwing some bread crumbs and room temperature sauce on it.. We waited so long for these things and they still got to our table cold... http://www.yelp.com/bi...

Should have had them open up the 50 pound bag of coconut shrimp and had them throw those in the oil.

We had chicken chow mein like food.

    http://www.yelp.com/bi...

Honestly, if i showed you the photo, would you think it was Chinese Food? Again, I am envisioning them opening frozen packets of chicken pieces and cooking this thing in a wok.. Whether this happened or not, i really do not know. There were sliced mushrooms that were already sliced and tasted of tin.. Peppers out of a jar, fine, I guess.. But, I have never seen suspected Frozen Chicken pieces served like this at an Italian Restaurant.. i wanted to ask for chopsticks..

    Lean cuisine perhaps?

Dinner was left mostly uneaten. I hope they dont use MSG.

I am very hard to please when it comes to food. But this place is off the charts. Jockamo(Owner) Is a real nice guy comes around to talk to you and make sure everything is ok. His son Antonio is the best. We always ask for him to serve us. They make you feel good about eating out!! My favorite thing is something they make special for me and i been trying to get the manager to put it on the Menu for awhile now so when you go in order the fried calamari sauteed with cherry  peppers over linguine!! Its Amazing!!!! After you eat it you will tell him to put it on the Menu to!!!!

The baked Clams were Delicious. It had the perfect amount of garlic. I haven't had baked clams that taste that good in a very long time.

    Service was attentive.

Wait on a Saturday, 25 minutes.

Me and My boyfriend were satisfied. Patricia's is Yummy in my Tummy!
