Review from Jackie S.
Delicious food at a great price. My boyfriend got the wild boar mexi chili and the chicken parmesan. He was very pleased. I got the chicken alfredo and caesar salad. My meal was light unlike many alfredo sauces. The fresh pasta was amazing. Dinner also comes with fresh baked bread that was the perfect appetizer.
The dining area is small, so arrive early or anticipate waiting for a table. Service for us was slow, there were customers who arrived after us and left before us, but it was still quite enjoyable. -

This is a great place for a quick bite or long dinner in Whistler. Really-- you can customize your experience here and opt in for a long dinner or quick take-out. The place was jammed at 7pm on a Thursday night, so we just followed suit with the locals and ordered to go. It was actually a few dollars cheaper since you don't get salad or soup with take out, but the food was done faster. Plus, we love our hotel room so any excuse to stay in is fine by us.
We had the Alfredo sauce with raditore noodles, as well as the spaghetti with plum tomato sauce. I'm giving this 4 stars because the bread was very hard and unappealing, and I didn't care for the tomato sauce. However, the Alfredo was SO GOOD that we came back the second night for the same dish. Delicious. -

Good pasta. Simple environment - don't expect too much and you will be fine. Solid food for the price and friendly staff. Definitely worth a try.

Nice intimate setting with great service. Kids portions are appropriately sized and very reasonable (approx $5). Meatball spaghetti and chicken parmiagan (sp?) good. Overall a fine experience.

Great pasta and a decent price for being in the village. Food portions were a good size. There was a pretty limited menu but it was enough to cover the main pasta selections. I went with the Chicken Alfredo. Great pasta and nice thick sauce unlike some places where it can be a little watery.
Small location, not many tables and every table was filled when we were there.
I'd definitely recommend this place when you're in the mood for pasta and need a quick bite. -
Review from Sydney L.
The food here gets five stars. It's really good and much less expensive than most of the other "good food" options in the Whistler village. My husband and I walked away very full for $33.
My husband had home made pasta with homemade tomato basil sauce
(which he claimed was the best homemade pasta he had ever eaten) and chicken parm.
I had a soup of the day, which was an enormous bowl of Moroccan chickpea and tomato soup, and a salad. The salad was boring but the soup was seasoned exceptionally well and I even managed to get lunch out of it the next day.
The service was a bit slow and the servers seemed pretty stressed out (it's not very many tables, but there was a crowd hovering/waiting for tables!), hence the subtraction of a star.
Bonus: they sell pizza dough which is pretty good -

Fresh tasting food for relatively decent prices.
The restaurant may be a little hard to see from the road since it is nestled in a corner spot of a strip mall.
We came for dinner and did not have to wait long to be seated. The dining area is small though. I think there were about 6 - 7 tables.
I believe the restaurant bakes its own bread but it really was nothing too special - in my opinion. However, my husband and I still ate two baskets worth of bread and would have accepted a third if I were not watching my weight.
Pasta dinners ($16ish) come with either a soup or salad. I recommend the soup! My husband ordered the soup of the day - thai coconut. It was sooo good. I wish I had ordered the same but I ordered the tomato, fennel, basil soup - which was also very good but not quite as good as the thai coconut.
It took quite a long time for our pasta dinners to come out - which I guess is to be expected if things are made fresh. I had the vegetarian lasagna and my husband ordered a "pick your own pasta and sauce" thing. He also requested two meatballs as well.
My lasagna was pretty tasty but nothing extraordinarily special. It did taste fresh though and I appreciated the tomato sauce - yum!
This is a good casual option if you want to spend less than $20 on an entree. -
Review from Kris P.
Good, simple, basic... Chicken Parmesan was tender and tasty. The red sauce is... Red sauce (if you love it!) mists salad was just fine... Not outstanding, but if you are exhausted and hungry and don't want to spend a fortune on dinner, good place!

Don't tell everyone, but this is the spot!
Show up between 5:00pm - 5:30pm when lunch is still being served for the same meals at cheaper prices. Dinner is more expensive, but you will be treated to olive oil and vinegar with your delicious bread prior to the meal (the bread is absolutely amazing...definitely worth the trip). It appears the pasta is made right on the spot. This seems to be authentic Italian.
The chicken parm was tasty, and the pasta with sausage was great, too. Two of us walked in, absolutely ravenous. Not long after, we both walked out, completely stuffed (with leftovers!) for less than $25. That's a deal you don't find everyday in a ski town! -

Walked in at 9 pm on a Wednesday and the very sweet waitress said she would have to ask to see if we could be sat or if they were closing. Luckily she let us have a table. The only type of the beer they have is Sleemans, and we love beer so that was a little disappointing. I had the Malbec for $6.50 which was fine with me.
All of their dinners come with soup or salad and are a good deal. They gave us tons of delicious bread. The pasta was definitely homemade but nothing to write home about.
I was going to give it 4 stars and then at about 10:15 pm we were finishing up and I asked to go to the bathroom and the waitress said it's locked. Maybe you can go down the street. What? You just dropped off a check over $100 at my table but you can't unlock your bathroom for me. I don't blame her, but what kind of crazy dinner establishment doesn't provide a restroom?? -

Pasta Lupino is the best place in Whistler to get a reasonably priced dinner, period.
The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is fantastic, and the prices are really reasonable for Whistler. You won't find better value for money in Whistler.Listed in: whistlered

This is Whistler's best kept secret. There are a couple higher end Italian restaurants, but Pasta Lupino is easily the tastiest place to get yourself a pasta treat.
They offer both take-out and dine-in, including lunch and dinner. Our household has a Monday tradition called "Pasta Lupino night" where we pick up two grilled vegetarian lasagnas and take them home to cook that evening for our dinner. It's great whether you have it at their location or from your own oven.
They have a homemade plum tomato basil sauce that is easily one of the best tomato pasta sauces in the history of mankind. I do not jest.
And last night, after a great dinner elsewhere, my girlfriend & I finished off our evening with americanos and tiramisu, a rare entity at Pasta Lupino. Their tiramisu is so dad-gummed good (yes, I can't help but use shocking profanity in sheer joy discussing it) that it's hardly ever available. A perfect dessert.
Yes, you can go drop a lot of money at a snooty Italian restaurant in Whistler, or you can go to a casual and entirely tasty little joint that'll blow your mind. My Mondays are not complete without a visit to Pasta Lupino. -

Very good food for the money. Very reasonably priced by Whistler standards. Warm and cozy inside. Good service.
I really enjoyed the vegie lasagna and my husband really like his meat lasagna. Good sized portions. -

By far the best pasta in town and one of the cheapest places in Whistler for a vegetarian to eat.

Review from Dane M.
Great food, amazing flavors. All the pasta is fresh made and served perfectly al dente with the chewy texture that fresh pasta imparts.
The menu is simple but everything is worth trying, again and again. The 3 sauce choices are amazing (including bolognese and alfredo), but if you have to pick one, the perfectly simple basil and plum tomato might be the best in the universe.
The soups-of-the-day rotate frequently and never disappoint, the panko-crusted chicken parmigiana is flavorful and crispy, and even simple spaghetti and meatballs is delicious.
I realize it's possible to eat cheap here for lunch (or take-out), but if you want more than a simple pasta and sauce, a dinner with a glass of wine and dessert will run about $30-35 per person. It's a great meal for the price, but maybe not the cheap eats that some expect. -
Review from Helen G.
Note that this restaurant is pretty tiny so there might be some wait time involved. Luckily we only waited 10 minutes. I had the Chicken Parmiggiana and hubby had the spaghetti with basil tomato sauce tonight. Each dinner entree came with soup or salad and you're served with focaccia bread. I liked my chicken parmigiana but hubby thought his tomato sauce was a bit sour. I thought the best part of the meal was the bread, soup (tonite was minestrone with chicken) and the salad. Minestrone was delish. I like the place overall but next time will try their lasagna which looked wonderful at another table. My chicken parmagiana was the most expensive item on the menu at $16.95 so this place is good money for the value.

Good food - for sure. I particularly enjoyed the soup the day I went - which was a carrot, pumpkin sweet potato - and not cream based, which was a pleasant surprise. We all had pasta of varying types and everything was great. Spaghetti and meatballs only had three meatballs though. Chicken parm is a local favorite and was very good. Small place- you will likely have to wait for a table - but good service.

What a gem. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but well worth it. The four pasta dishes we ordered were all excellent, but it's the little extras that really made this meal an exceptional experience: the $5.00 glass of wine (on special), the full bottle of Snapple lemonade (instead of a standard glass), the homemade focaccia, the double-sized cappuccino and the incredible tiramisu. The waitress were working extra hard. Considering that the typical Whistler restaurant serves small portions and small pours for a premium price, this place was like a refuge! Highly recommended.

What a relief! A honest, good and non-pretentious food joint in Whistler!
We were frustrated by all the high-end / high-price / mediocre food places in the village, until my web research led me to this place. It has an open kitchen, so you can see your meal being prepared, and the pastas were all delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. Dinners all included soup (Thai chicken soup was a keeper!) or salad (nothing to write home about these), and a very tasty bread with olive oil and vinegar, just like in the Mediterranean... NomNomNom....
Definitely a hidden gem! -

This little cafe offers fresh pasta with well crafted sauces at a bargain price, especially for Whistler. It smells like heaven too. My favorite is to get Chicken Parm with radiatorre and half alfredo, half tomato basil sauce. Manga!

Yes this is one Whistlers local secrets... When your hunger and do not want to spend allot but want quality food this is the place. Rarely a lineup but can be busy at peak times. The pasta menu is very very real and good portions. The wine & beer are well priced. It only has a few tables as allot of their business is take out. I like to order take out while having Apres ski drinks and pick up dinner on the way home.. Th pasta Parmesan is my favorite..

Review from A R.
Pasta lupino is a cozy rustic spot in Whistler, which serves up fresh Italian fare everyday at a reasonable price. The pasta is made on site and melts in your mouth. The sauces are simple but pack a punch of flavor. The freshness of the plum tomatoes in the sauces makes everything savory and aromatic. Our front desk at Pan Pacific recommended them and we weren't disappointed. If you are in the mood for Italian skip the pasta factories and walk on to this authentic little Italian kitchen.

I would say that this is the best value for real Italian food in Whistler, the pasta tastes just like the ones in Italy, the price is right and the portions are generous with our being grotesque

Great find! Thanks again Yelp. This place was tricky to find but well worth the effort....right next to the 7-11 for future advice. Just ate there and had great fresh pasta and sauce with fantastic service. Whistler was pretty much dead but this place was packed....obviously a local favortie. Everything to eat was great.
