My husband is from London, where there are several amazing curry places to eat, so we were excited by how many were in Niagara and thought any one of them would probably be pretty decent. Unfortunately, we chose poorly.
When my husband and I were seated, the woman serving us, turned directly toward my husband and asked if HE would like a menu, not me. She then asked only him if he would like something to drink and didn't even bother to ask me. After giving my husband his menu, she asked my husband again (not even glancing at me) what he would like to eat between menu dishes (where you have to pay an extra $2 for boneless chicken curry) or the buffet. We both agreed on the buffet, but we both wished we had just walked out from the get go.
The buffet food was more oily than other curries we have had, which took away from the flavor. The chicken curry had bones in it (always fun to pick them out when eating) and the vegetable curries were bland. Desert was super sugary sweet, too sweet to enjoy. The only good thing was the naan bread and the young gentleman who actually addressed me.
Bottom line:
Terrible service
Rude server
Bland oily curries
Make sure you take pepto bismo after eating here.
