Park Inn is a cheap solution for the last moment Montreal hotel booking. For the same price that will settle you in a filthy rathole with HIV-infected bums and pot-smoking kids next to the entrance somewhere in Montreal Latin quarters, you can afford a reasonably clean, decently looking roadside hotel in the airport belt. Just keep in mind that you will get exactly what you've paid for, and nothing above that.
Positives:
- Convenient location next to a major highway
- Friendly and professional staff
Negatives:
- Rather beaten, even though still acceptable, interior
- Steady stink all around the building (them old carpets)
- Limited services (ask for a corkscrew, enjoy the result)
On site eatery "Venezia" is worthless. Food court quality of meals with a hefty restaurant price tag. And there are lots of decent restaurants in about ten minutes drive to the East.
Be careful not to skip the hotel entrance driving by the highway 520 - or you will end up making some long extra miles to return and retry.
