Review from Roanna Z.
This little garden oasis is a really relaxing way to spend an hour unwinding after work or before a movie or shopping in the P&T plaza.
The well maintained garden is always changing and is really wonderful. It's a great place for snapping some pictures too.
There are so many beautiful plants and trees and two fountains to sit and meditate by. Birds and butterflies fluttering about make it a really pleasant place to drink a coffee or munch your lunch too. Just another north shore gem!Listed in: North shore businesses and…, Pick a bouquet, any bouquet.

Review from Esther Y.
Upon first glance, the gardens may not seem like much. In fact, it was very difficult to find. We went to where my GPS told me to go, and all I saw was a shopping center. It wasn't until we circled around the entire block and were about to go in and ask someone what happened to the gardens that we finally found it.
Kinda unimpressive at first, but as we delved in deeper into the 8 interconnected theme gardens, photo opportunities abounded (we all became models instantaneously). My favorite garden wasa definitely the Japanese garden.
Not the most beautiful gardens you've ever seen, but you can't beat free! -

The gardens at Park and Tilford are beautiful at any time of year, and they're free, free, free to visit. If you don't know the area, I can see how they'd be a little tough to find. However, at Christmas, when they put up the lights throughout, you'd be hard-pressed not to be able to find the gardens.
The entrance is flanked by two coffee shops - Starbucks and JJ Bean. Upon entering, you're soon swallowed by a trellised entryway. I always wanted to grow those climbing vines in my own small balcony garden. There are several interconnected gardens here. The Japanese garden is lovely, featuring a viewing house, bridge, pond, and red Japanese maples. There's also a formal English rose garden with gazebo, a herb garden, and even a West Coast native plants garden with lots of ferns and rainforest-style greenery.
While it may be be huge or full of rare species, Park and Tilford Gardens nonetheless provide a little peace in my day and a lot of inspiration for my next trip to the garden store.
