Toronto, ON
This is by far my favorite restaurant in the falls when I lived here (recently moved to toronto). They're run by very nice french family. They decided to open in the queen street area, hoping to be part of a thriving revitalization effort (think niagara-on-the lake), but unfortunately the surrounding area hasn't seen as much businesses come in as one would like. But this restaurant (along with Taps restaurant and brewery), are the shining places in this otherwise strugging section of the falls.
I always order the rataouille crepe, filled with cheese and assorted veggies, and my wife always gets their french onion soup (which she reports has just the right amount of salt). For dessert she will get a plain butter and sugar crepe which she adores, and I stick with the nutella and almond crepe, which always hits the spot. Their coffee is amazing as well.
We always make it a point to come back here each time we're in the falls... -

Off the beaten path from the rest of the tourist, this little Bistro sits on a very nice and safe street of shops. It's not far at all from the attractions of Niagara Falls but it is well worth getting away and paying for great food! Do not let the name fool you. They offer much more then crepes!
We had dinner and everything from appetizers to the main entre to the dessert was fantastic. We all had..... crepes for dessert of course! There was a huge selection to choose from and they were all super yummy!
The inside was very well decorated and there were a few tables that you could sit and eat outside. Service was great and the servers were very nice! I would definitely recommend you coming here instead of eating at the tourist traps near Niagara Falls. I found this place from.... Yelp! :-) -

My wife and I loved this! It was only about 10 min from the falls and very casual but romantic. I had the steak which was superb. There was parking in the back in a parking lot which was and odd place but we did not mind.
I recommend you just try it! -

Nice, quiet atmosphere. Food was delicious. Would order the same thing again. Will eat there the next time I am in town.

I visited Paris Crepes Bistro this past summer for a friend's bachelorette. We were looking for something not-so touristy and quaint for our group of 7.
The restaurant is located in the downtown strip of Niagara Falls; not to be confused with the Clifton Hill/Touristy area of Niagara Falls. When you enter, it feels like you are in a Parisan cafe back in Paris. There is French art and decor all over.
I order the French Onion soup to start, you have to if you are going to a Paris cafe! It was delish, one of the better french onion soups I have had at other places. I decide to go with the Salad Nicoise instead of a savoury crepe as my entree. It had the right amout of dressing and good balance of flavour. The achovies (sp?) were not too over-powering.
For dessert, I ordered the crepe suzette because of the flambee effect! Unfortunately, there was WAY too much triple sec that drowned my crepe. The crepe was good. I tried the other dessert crepes that my friends ordered and they were tasty. Next time, I will go for a non-flambee crepe.
For two (I covered my friend's bill), one french onion soup, one salad nicoise, a glass of wine, an orangina, one savoury crepe and two dessert crepes - the bill was about $90 with taxes and tip. About on par with the touristy places in Niagara Falls.
I would recommend this place if you are in the Niagara Falls area.Listed in: Niagara Area

This is a review for drinks and dessert crepes only.
We visited Niagra Falls for a day trip and as usual decided to Yelp for a place to eat. We parked behind the restaurant in a sketchy lot stating "free parking, park at your own risk". We were the only car there.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice, they had a sax and a bass playing live music, waiters were all professionally dressed with long white aprons, clean place, nicely decorated. We ordered a couple of their cocktails, $10-$15, which were very girly and delicious. I recommend the French Martini. The men ordered espresso and capuccino, which I'm told were very good as well. I can't remember the name of the crepes, mine had strawberries, chocolate, coconut, marshmellows and was delicious. The other three were just as great for dessert.
Overall: Great atmosphere, romantic, relaxed, makes you want to say "Ah, Paris..." (in a French accent), slightly overpriced but delicious drinks, awesome dessert crepes, sketchy but safe parking, away from the tourist area but definitely worth the drive.
We'll definitely be back to try their dinner, lunch, breakfast menu! And I don't think I'll ever be able to visit Niagra Falls without visiting Paris Crepes :) -

I am one of the fussiest foodies out there. This place is simple fresh good food. If your looking for a reasonable prices and excellent food this is your place. Don't be afraid to ask the friendly wait staff for their suggestions. I don't know French food that well but I do know good food and this is it.

If you're visiting Niagara Falls, do yourself a favor. Avoid the disaster that is Lundy's Lane/Clifton Hill and it's plague of American chains and cheesy attractions and head over to Queen St. Here, nestled at the end of a mostly empty street is the best restaurant on both sides of the falls. Yes...the BEST restaurant.
I ordered a glass of the Rothschild Viognier while waiting for my split pea soup and my husband's Goat Cheese Tart. When our appetizers arrived (in a timely manner, i might add) both dishes proved to be superb. To say the least, my husband and I were definitely anticipating a fantastic dinner. Paris Crepes Bistro did not disappoint. My husband ordered the beef bourguignon while I chose the salmon. The salmon was perfectly cooked, with a refreshing and complex garnish of onions, dill and tomatoes. So refreshing and it paired perfectly with the viognier. The beef bourguignon was amazingly tender and cooked to perfection and I found myself greedily offering to help my husband finish his meal if he couldn't eat it all. To say the least, we had no leftovers.
We were entirely too full for crepes but the ones we saw--and smelled--looked absolutely divine. Anytime I'm in Niagara Falls again, this will be my go to stop. Amazing restaurant, friendly staff and great food. Can't wait to visit again! -

We went to Paris Crepes Bistro last night and definitely enjoyed our meal.
It was a short drive from the insanity near Victoria and Clifton and had street parking and a parking lot behind the restaurant available - neither were full on a Saturday night.
I loved the ambiance of the place and on Saturday nights they have live music - we enjoyed the jazz duo in the background of our meal but it might have been loud for people closer to the front of the restaurant.
One thing I didn't love was that the cocktails were a little pricey (but tasty!) and, like in Europe, bread was not free. However, my husband and I shared the Camembert au Four appetizer, which was amazing.
For our entrees... My in-laws both got the Salmon - they said it was very tasty and it must have been because they cleaned their plates before we got a chance to try any! My husband had the Ratatouille crepe, which was good, and I had the Magret de Canard au Cassis (Duck with blackcurrant sauce), which I thought was excellent. I thought it was odd that my plate came with french fries, but I'm not complaining because they were very good as well.
We each got different sweet crepes for dessert and thoroughly enjoyed them but left feeling a little stuffed. All in all, a nice meal with rich flavors and a laid back atmosphere. -

My wife and I decided to try out this restaurant by Niagara Falls. Being a torontonian for most of my life. I have to say, niagara falls has been seen numerous time. So we wanted to try something new, and found this on yelp.
Man! am i glad to have found this on yelp. The restaurant is a bit off the regular tourist district. So a bit of walk or short drive required. The restaurant is nicely decorated. The waiters are very friendly. But most of all, their food is absolutely amazing for the price and the location.
I ordered the duck breast entree, for all the duck dishes I've had in my life. This tops them all. Cooked to medium rare, the outer layer are crisp with tender meat. We've also had their espargots appetizer, also nicely flavored served with awesome french baquette :P We shared a desert crepe which was also very tasty.
Overall, definitely recommended for anyone visiting the falls and wants something more than the crowded commercialized restaurant. I know I would go back whenever I get the chance :] -

YUM! Not only did Yelpers recommended this place, I was also recommended to this place by a local who worked at a bar in Niagara Falls.
Atmosphere (5): I came here around 10am for a quick brunch. Once I entered, the place was huge and all the decors on the were were the eiffel tower (of course). The restaurant has a very calming atmosphere to it and I was immediately greeted by a waitress.
Service (4): I thought the service was a bit slow but not to the point where I'd complain at all. The waitress took her time to fill up our water or get us our check. But at the same time, I was in a rush to continue on with my tourist schedule. Otherwise, I would've loved the amount of time she gave me to eat my food before approaching me.
Staff (5): The staff was very friendly. My waitress had a French accent and was very sweet and kind to my boyfriend and I. Some of the crepes were being cooked by the door so that outsiders walking past could see him making the delicious crepes to come.
Appetizer (4): They started us off with some French bread. OMG, probably one of the best french bread I've had in awhile (even compared to ones I had in France). Also, the butter that goes along with the bread was sooo good. The bread was hard but very crispy and the butter had a sweet taste to it. Then, I ordered Cream of Asparagus (Soup du Jour) and my boyfriend LOVED the asparagus soup. I thought it was a bit bland but my boyfriend loved the blandness and how light the soup was.
Entree (4) For entree, I ordered the one with basil, tomato and mozzarella cheese crepe. My boyfriend ordered the banana nutella crepe. Both were DELICIOUS. The vegetables are very fresh and the crepes are one of the best crepes I've ever had. The portion size were great and it was just a very nice meal overall.
Overall (5): Overall, this is a MUST GO place in Niagara Falls. We had to drive out there but parking is fairly easy on the street and it's a very close drive from the actual falls. -

For me to walk out of a place and rave about it, and immediately want to go back and have everything else on the menu is rare. But this place has definitely made the cut! Oh NomNomNom Gee!!!
I think this has to be the best crepe I've ever had. On par with Crepes A Gogo, and possibly surpasses it.
This cute family owned Parisian bistro in the local neighbourhoods of Niagara is a hidden gem and a must try if you're in the area. Suddenly you're not in Clifton Hill and a touristy abundance, but whisked away into Montreal, or Paris. The decor is something out of the typical cafes, and quirky in it's own way.
The menu has Savoury and Sweet crepes, along with Salads, Appetizers and non-Crepe entrees for the less crepe inclined.
It was so hard to pick! Our patient server had to return 4 times as we discussed. The price point is a bit on the expensive side with crepe ranging anywhere from $8 to $14. Most of the worthwhile ones at $12.
We ended up on sharing two savoury and one sweet. I couldn't help myself! From the pics you don't really see much, the stuffings are perfectly wrapped inside a buckwheat crepe. They don't skip on the stuffing. Every mouthful you get savoury goodness, there isn't a corner you cut where you get just dough.
The buck wheat on the crepes give it a different texture than the regular floppy wheat. It back more thick, but not too thick with an almost crunchy exterior. It was perfect....
I got La Gourmand (egg, camanbert cheese, bacon, tomato, maple syrup). I have to admit the pairing of cheese and maple syrup is a little strange, but try it and you'll never go back. I only know this from going to Crepes A GoGo with the same initial reaction.
My boyfriend got the La Parisienne, mushrooms, goat cheese, argula.. It was also very good. A more exotic flavour than mine.
For the dessert, after much discussion, we got the La Mimi ($12.50) - dark chocolate shavings, coconut, banana topped with chantilly (vanilla flavoured whipped cream). Oh my. Chocolate lovers, you can't miss
this. Again, it was FILLED with chocolate not skimping here either.
It was Saturday of Valentine's weekend, and it was quite empty. Just us and another table. I can see the place being full during lunch hour or dinner.
I totally recommend this place for any meal of the day. If you're driving, there is free parking on the street on weekends.
I have to come back here. Can't eat anywhere else in Niagara.
Props to Tong J. for recommending (and Wayne C. for informing him) !!! Best. Idea. Ever. -

This was easily the best breakfast I had in Niagara Falls (take that with a grain of salt). I think what I liked about it most was that it was definitely a welcome change from the typical Niagara tourist fare.
Really, the food was average, but satisfying. If anything negative could be said, it was a bit pricey and the coffee was really bad. Even though the coffee was made in a French press, and brewed in front of me, it was the stalest coffee I've ever had. It tasted like the coffee was ground last year and then set out in the open air to oxidize until I came in that morning when they then used it to make a cup for me. -

Wow! After seeing other recommendations, we had to go.
The decor is simple, understated and definitely Parisian. We ordered the La Vieille Ferme bottle of red wine-the perfect table wine. My Beef Bourguinon was soft, succulent, and full of flavor. My wife had the Grilled Salmon Provencal-fresh and flawless. The french baguette dipped into the soft, buttery Camembert cheese was just heaven.
And then there was dessert. If you love Chocolate Mousse, this place does not disappoint. The Balzac Crepe was to die for! Although we wouldn't rate it "kid-friendly" we did have our 7 year old daughter with us. She ate a bit of everything, and loved it all!
There's nothing pretentious here...just amazing food, intelligent service, comfy atmosphere, and a menu to please all. It's close by, so don't miss out on a surprising escape from the scuzziness and lack of choices on the main drag. Paris Crepes is almost worth the 6 hour drive from Philadelphia. -

On a Sunday morning in search of Sunday Brunch we go to this Downtown Niagara area devoid from signs of life to find this absolute beautifully decorated building of Paris theme with fiery red paint on the outside that warmed our HEARTS and made it the most welcoming spot within walking distance.
We walked to the doors and peeked within to see a young western gentleman preparing Crepes and give us a quick smile as we walked into this Paris Cafe that takes you from Niagara to Paris instantly. The service gentleman spoke Francais to us as well as English being from the Alps gave us excellent service through-out. The other older gentleman chef was just as friendly and welcomed photos as they prepare meals.
The decor is just a perfect getaway and there was even a Christmas Tree along side our table that made it feel of the seasons greetings. The Menu consists of Hor D'oeuvres, Plats Legers, Nos Garnitures, Typique Bistro, and Les Desserts. We came for the CREPES! We chose a Buckwheat Crêpes as well as a Sweet Crêpes.
Parisienne(Fresh Tomato, Goat Cheese, Sautéed Mushroom With Garlic $11.00) was a lovely served with a side of Mixed Salad. The Crepe itself even looked the color of Buckwheat while the Goat Cheese was nicely warmed to spreadable consistency.
Lisette(Praline, Chantilly and Grand Marnier $12.50) was so delicious with Praline sauce in the middle and a slight sweet Chantilly on top of the Crepe. Grand Marnier! :D
Almost didn't want to leave this little Paris Paradise into the Cold Canadian December. Niagara is lucky to have this little Paris shop.Listed in: 4+ ****Stars****, En Français, 24 (Niagara version)

I have waited for 2 years to go to Paris Crepes Bistro and it was worth the wait! We started out with great white wine to drink with our cheese plate. The French cheeses were fantastic and the bread (baked on the premises) was wonderful! I got the filet in burgundy and cracked pepper sauce and my husband got the boeuf bourguignon which was supurb! For desert we got the sweet crepes with nutella, fruit, ice cream and chantilly cream. We finished off with a glass of sweet desert wine. The chef, Kevin was amazingly attentive and made our dining experience truly great! Can't wait to come back to Niagara Falls to go to the Bistro!

I cannot say enough good things about Paris Crepes Bistro! During what was otherwise a somewhat disappointing visit to Niagara (the long lines nearly everywhere and inflated prices made the town less fun than either my wife or I had remembered from our visits back in the '90's) we stumbled on Paris Crepes thru Yelp, and we're thrilled. We enjoyed both the sweet and savory crepes, appetizers and wine. The cafe was very quiet on weekday evenings, which, after spending all day surrounded by crowds, seemed quite the antidote. The service was prompt & friendly. The wine list was deep and interesting. In short, Paris Crepes Bistro was the best part of our trip.

We found this location by accident, and even thought it was a very expensive lunch (~$65 for two). I have enjoyed the crepes, latte, salad, unbelieve and tasty creamy soup.... add great service and freindly staff.
I was swept away and next time I'm in the area, I am going to visit it again! It definetly is a little Paris gem in Niagara Falls that is tucked away. -

Went with my father for a car day. Atmosphere was pleasing except for the live entertainment. I couldn't speak across the table it was so loud. The food was pretty standard and very expensive for what it was. Being a chef, I know what things cost. I would recommend if you want to try it, you hurry up and go since I don't think it will around for long.

Review from Mariko M.
En route to the US, the family and I stopped at Paris Crepes Bistro for dinner. I come to Niagara-on-the-Lake often for winery tours, but often disregard the business outside of the winery realm. Mind you, the Perkins along the 401 wasn't too bad. Anyway, this establishment was quite a pleasant surprise! The father had received a gift certificate to PCB and wanted to use it before he misplaced his present (as he often does).
Owned and run by a French family, you truly feel as if you're in France when you enter this establishment. With the likes of Edith Piaf in the background, the mother and I marvelled over the nice decor of this place.
The service here is efficient... with a capital 'E.' As soon as we entered the PCB, we were quickly seated by the enthusiastic and friendly host who turns out to be the son of the owner. Once our meal was ordered, our drinks were brought to the table instantly.
I ordered the garlic mushroom omelet with frites; when ordering items like these, I always risk having a very, very greasy meal, but I was safe with this place! It also came with a salad (the house dressing was fabulous).
As an end to our meal, I ordered the Niagara Falls Crepe. It was mother effin good! I would drive to Niagara Falls just for this crepe. The mother and I often go to Movenpick (Marche? Richtree? Whatever their current name is) for a crepe and there is just no comparison! The Niagara Falls comes with peaches, raspberries and strawberries with vanilla ice cream and nutella inside of the crepe.
If you have the chance to drop by, please try the crepes as they are delicious! The meal isn't that bad either. :) -
Review from Ellie N.
This place has awesome CREPES!!! Me and my friend shared the Niagra Falls crepe...it was so good! We had just ate so we just ordered the dessert. This is definitely outside of the main tourist attraction. The decor of this place is pretty awesome as well! It's a must if you want some French food!

Since my previous review was apparently a little too sharp tongued for some, I'll give a summary because we did not have the 4 and 5 star experience others did. I would/do want to know these things from others so I hope this one passes go.
Average food. Decent prices. Might get charged for something you weren't told you'd be charged for. Service may be slow despite there being only 3 tables full in the whole restaurant. -
Review from Sarah R.
The husband and I went here tonight. We came via a recommendation from Yelp, being tourist annoyed with overpriced food. Here the food is perfect portions at perfect prices... $10-13 per plate. However wine was very pricey. The food was great as well as the live jazz combo and the welcoming servers. I would encourage many tourist to venture north to Queen street.

Review from Hector M.
This place was such a breath of fresh air and an escape from the overall tourist trap of Niagara Falls ($18 IHOP and the other alternatives are horrendous). It was about 2 miles from the Marriott and I conveniently found free parking right in front. The restaurant was decorated quaintly with numerous Eiffel Towers / french posters, offered both sweet and savory crepes, and gave you bowlfuls of coffee. A++

Fabulous find thanks to yelp and open table reviews! While only a few minutes by cab from tourist hell - this place is charming, quiet and has great traditional French bistro food! The mussels in curry cream were fantastic and my friends duck breast was also really good. Crepes galore, too, and our dark chocolate and banana was outstanding!

Review from Cory D.
My wife and I went to Mide Bistro (just down the street on Queen St.) for dinner and drove past this place on the way. We decided to come back here for dessert and boy, were we glad we did. We had the Niagara Falls crepe, which was peaches, strawberries, rasberries, and blueberries with vanilla ice cream over a crepe with Nutella inside. So good, so so good. We also had the chocolate mousse which was also excellent. I also heard them cut a baguette behind me and I could tell it was good just from the sound. We tried to go back for an early dinner on Saturday, but they were closed :-( It's on my list for next time though! The service was very nice and they spoke French. Oui Oui.
