Larissa helped my fiance and me with our save-the-dates and invitations (and is currently working on our program). You can see photos of our invitations here and on Larissa's site (the black and white with lace accents). Larissa has been nothing short of AMAZING! Without any reservation or second thought I would recommend her to anyone.
Larissa is creative and does great work and her pricing is very competitive and totally up-front (she is 1000% honest and forthcoming about how much items cost). She was patient with my fiance and I as we fumbled through trying to add and Armenian language component to our invitations and she went out of her way to meet with us and make sure we were happy at every step of the process. Numerous people have told me that our invitations are the most beautiful they have every seen.
You will ADORE Larissa as a person and you will LOVE her work. -

Larissa is an amazing find - thanks fellow yelpers for the great recommendations! I had to review her myself to return the favor. Our wedding was just this weekend and Larissa designed and created the invitations and all of the wedding stationary (menus, programs, table numbers and custom jar labels). She does it all!
She turned my pie-in-the-sky idea into reality and was happy to do revisions until it matched what was in my head. She is super easy to work with - eager to give suggestions and show samples, but still respects what you want. She is also very timely and delivers a finished product when she says she will. I would work with her again in an instant! I also love that she is a solo business woman making it work - nothing corporate about her! -

Papercake Designs is my favorite stationery design company!!! I actually live and work in southern California, and I used to work with Larissa (Papercake owner and designer) locally when she was based in Dana Point. When the company relocated to SF, I wanted to continue the relationship, because Larissa is just THAT amazing. We now handle client stationery projects via email, and it's like she never left. Larissa is so patient and creative. She does all custom stationery suites and has a great eye for layout and design. She comes up with amazing suggestions on how to make wording and graphics work well on paper and communicate a message to the intended recipients. All of my clients have been so happy with everything Larissa creates. She is so detailed, and the products are always constructed so meticulously. Love Papercake Designs!

After spending months trolling the internet for wedding invitations, I couldn't find anything that fit my needs. In addition to not loving the pre-made designs, I needed a custom size. Thankfully, I found Larissa at Papercake!
Larissa met with my fiancé and I to discuss what we were looking for and the colors we needed. She completely nailed it. We got invitations, reply cards, enclosure cards, and maps. We later had her create programs, menus, and table name signs. Larissa was able to create completely custom invitations at a reasonable price. So many of the custom designers only do letterpress. As beautiful as that is - that wasn't how I wanted to spend my money.
I am so happy I found Papercake and will definitely use her for all future invitation/printing needs. -

We worked with Larissa for our wedding invitations and the end product, her work and her great advice was above and beyond our expectations. I was really overwhelmed with all the decisions that go into picking our invitations and she was patient and helped make the process not only painless, but fun! The final product was awesome and the price was very reasonable, even with custom paper. She clearly had an eye for detail and takes care and pride in her work. Can not say enough great things about the whole experience.

Larissa created beautiful, custom invitations for an upcoming co-ed baby shower -- they were the absolute best balance of cuteness without alienating the men-folk. Cute, high quality, sophisticated, and fun. She was absolutely great to work with and can recommend her very highly when you need that special invitation that's soooooo much better than cookie-cutter options.

I felt I needed more numbers to rate Larissa's service. I must say I fully recommend Papercakedesigns.
When planning my wedding invitations I basically took a very systematic approach looking at lots of websites and vendors and everything.... and then I found Larissa's amazing website. I had no doubt this was going to be it. I liked the fact that she has a blog where you can see what the "Real" fruit of her services has produced. It was clear that besides the products looking good there was something very positive about dealing with her. So I went ahead. Our wedding was in Spain and it was in three languages. I loved one of the designs Larissa had in her site and sent her an email asking if she would be ok with us discussing a variation on that one to accommodate our requirements. I was delighted to receive a very quick answer. Larissa proposed to meet and accommodated to my not-so-easy time schedule. Moreover, she suggested to make my future husband participate (something I hadn't thought of) and he was delighted. In the end between Larissa and my fiance, they created one of the most perfect invites I've ever seen. For us, it matched perfectly the way we are and the way we see things and people were very complimentary of the invites.
Larissa is a gentle, creative, smart, adaptable and very efficient artist/businesswoman. She is fast without making quality suffer for that and she adapts to budgets and expectations in a way that I have not experienced with many other vendors before.
I cannot praise her work more and I fully recommend her services as a vendor. -

I am so glad I found Larissa! I was looking for a designer close to work (Palo Alto) and found her on yelp. Our wedding preparation took less than 4 months and Larissa provided a really quick turnaround. We would meet at a coffee shop in downtown PA during my lunch break and discuss the designs. Our November reception was held at the Presidio Log Cabin and she totally captured my vision for a rustic elegant themed stationaries. She's no doubt talented and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely recommend her to my friends who are getting married next year!
