    I love Pagliacci Pizza!

I usually call ahead for pick up and never have I had to wait.  I really love the chicken & spinach or even just a regular pepperoni pizza.  The crust is not super thin, but I like that it's had a nice crunch.

You can also can order by the slice and they'll warm it up for you.

Seattle, you don't know how good you've got it.

There are two levels of pizza in my book: delivery and eat in/take away.  As far as I'm concerned, there are different standards for both.  Standards for eat-in being far higher: think Little Star or Pizzeria Delfina from San Francisco, Via Tribunali in Seattle.  We are talking about a truly special pizza, folks.

My standards for pizza delivery have always been lower, because I want it quick and easy.  And let's face it, maybe a movie and pajamas are involved.

Seattlites, the great thing about Pagliacci is you can wear your pajamas AND eat good pizza.  Do you know how rare that is?

After living in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and Seattle, I can attest to the fact that finding good pizza delivery even in great food cities is a difficult thing. So when I don't want to take off my slippers, I am usually not expecting to enjoy farm fresh ingredients and charcuterie from one of the best place on the West Coast (Salumi)  Are you serious?  You mean I also get great customer service?  Really?  I'm wearing my pajamas AND I get to buy pizza from a company that worries about recycling their pizza boxes?  Wow, did I just score or what?

We love the seasonal pizzas, the Pagliacci salad, and the Brooklyn Bridge.  All thin crust, New York style.

Come on Seattle, put on your pajamas.  And admit it.  You've got it good.

My bus stop happens to be right in front of Pagliacci. This means that every time I am on my way home, I have to fight the urge to walk right in and eat pizza for dinner.

This is my favorite kind of pizza: thin (but not dry or charred) crust, perfectly tangy tomato sauce, no excessive grease, and the ingredients always taste fresh. Whether I call in or stop by, staff is always friendly and the pizza is ready to pick up within 30 minutes.

Needless to say, I end up eating pizza for dinner about once a week.

Very tasty pizza! The crust is just chewy enough without becoming soggy or burned. The toppings are fresh and tasty and they put just enough cheese on there to add to the flavor without turning it into a greasy cheeseball - the one thing that turns me off of so many other pizza places. My limit is usually one slice of pizza because so many are so greasy. I have no trouble admitting I was able to put away much more then that of these ones!

Pizza was delivered to my friend's house hot and fresh, and by a friendly and not at all creepy driver.  Once I make the move up into Seattle proper rest assured I will be eating here much more often!

Came here two days in a row on recent trip to Seattle.
First time got Nonna's pasta (penne) which came with huge breadstick. Yum!!
Second time got slice of cheese (tasty!) which came with free drink since it was Sunday--pleasant surprise!
The only thing I wasn't a fan of was their caesar salad since it came with iceburg lettuce and didn't compare with their pizza or pasta.
Would definitely return next time I'm in the area.

Not bad at all.  I love their crust. It was real nice and crispy, not burned thankfully.  And the toppings were fresh and delicious.  With all the pizza joints around, Pagliacci would be your best bet.

Quick delivery too might I add.

When they say your pizza will be there in 40 minutes they mean 40 minutes. Not 39  minutes or 41 minutes but 40 minutes... I'm impressed when  a place can be so accurate. I've used this location on numerous occaisions and they always have been super sweet on th phone. I mean they actually seem HAPPY to be answering the phone to take pizza orders! They even make chit chat if you are so inclined to spur it! Anyways, they always deliver to my place on first hill on time and it's always hot! The pizza itself is awesome for delivery... i mean this isn't gourmet pizza but seriously for take out it's easily the best i've ever had!
Anyways, the delivery guys are really nice and aren't creepy (like some other pizza delivery guys are, you know what i'm talking about) and are always thrilled when you leave them a good tip.
Yup I'll be back for more.

Our fav new pizza place! My fiance and I are addicted to this place! It is just my kind of pizza - lots of toppings, thick yummy crust with just the right amount of greasy cheesey goodness.  We order it all the time, at least once a week.  Their call in ordering is great as they recognize my cell number and automatically bring up our address, delivery directions to get to our alley, and credit card information.  Its as simple as calling in and saying "Just send me what I had last time, thanks!" I love that, makes it so easy.  The pizza always comes pretty quick and I think the price is fair for what it is, though it is more than your run of the mill Pizza Hut or Dominoes.  The taste and customer service make up for the increase in price tho!

Will be ordering many more times in the future!

Pagliacci has the best crust in all of Seattle - and I've had a lot of pizza. Of all the toppings, my favorite is the AGOG Primo, though they have a lot of other good flavors - the potato seasonal is a strange one, but extremely tasty! Their pesto pasta salad is also excellent, and I like that they have limonata to drink, along with Mexican coke, fancy cream sodas, and fountain sodas.

Theres not much I can add to whats been said here, the pizza is really good & the crust is great! I'll give an edge to Romios Pizza for flavor & preparation, but the location of this Pagliacci makes it almost perfect. Summer months, when it's wide open on a beautiful night makes it fanTASTIC!

Although like many seattlites I miss the old pagliacci when the slices were a third of a pizza and about two bucks. Its overpriced now and the slices dont have that huge thin deliciousness as much but they are still one of the best. The agog is to die forrr

I think I've been taking Pagliacci for granted for far too long. I love calling these friendly and efficient people for take-out.  Sometimes, I want to hug them over the phone.

The pizza is so good, but I've considered ordering just the Pagliacci salad. I respect the company and their commitment to fresh ingredients. I even admit to reading their newsletter although I'm routinely mocked for this.

I really don't know what I'd do without them.

I had take-out from this Pagliacci in north Cap Hill recently.  We had the Brooklyn pizza which came with pepperoni, sausages, and a slew of veggies.  The topping were all fresh and good.  The crust was thin but still fluffy.  The staff looks like they're having fun working there.  Didn't take very long to get my pizza either.

Now I'm going to have a tough time deciding if I want to make my own pizza anymore.  I still like to make my own pizza because I think my mozzarella cheese is better.  But it's a lot of work and we have so many good pizza places in Cap Hill.  Dang, what am I going to do with my 2 pizza stones??

*Your Vote Counts*  I love.  LOve. LOVe. LOVE Pagliacci pizza.
    I love their boxes.
I love their Red Crushed Pepper packets.
I love their cup of grated parmesan cheese.

I don't give a sh*t about the Seattle newbies that hate on Seattle pizza because they're from "PIZZA U-S-A".

I'm lovin' on my Seattle's own Pagliacci Spicy Salumi Pepperoni Pizza.
    Lovin it.

Five stars = "Woo hoo!  As good as it gets!"  And within the greater Seattle metro area, Pagliacci's IS as good as it gets.

The worm turned after my ravenous husband decided he couldn't wait for me even to nuke something for dinner, and grabbed a Pag's pie on the way home.  He got a plain cheese pie, with chopped fresh tomatoes on top added AFTER it came out of the oven.  The combo of cooked sauce, creamy mozz, and ZING! - fresh! - tomatoes on top jelled perfectly.

Pagliacci's is now officially the ONE pizza joint I will recommend to fellow East Coasters who are lost, bewildered, sad, and hungry as they troll the streets of the Pacific Northwest looking for a pie that speaks to them of home.  Who pine for thin crust and stretchy cheese with gently seasoned tomato-y goodness beneath it - for the humble, simple, perfect pleasures of  "just a coupla slices" in this otherwise Howling Seattle Wilderness of puffy-crusted Big Box Chain crap pizza...  local variations including OMFG SQUID and gooey duck!!!!... and haute craziness that's really over-cooked flatbread with specks of over-priced trendy Italianate toppings (you know who I'm talking about).

Pagliacci's is not Stromboli on 8th Street and St. Marks - but the plain cheese with fresh tomatoes slice REMINDS me of that slice, and it satisfies enough to make the pizza craving go away, and that my friends, is a very good thing.  So yes, in short, I stand corrected.  You CAN get a good slice in this town.

I recently returned to Seattle on a vacation with my mom and best friend.  I had lived here last year on Capitol Hill and when jet lag overcame us, we decided to spend our first evening in our hotel, sipping champagne and ordering pizza.  Pagliacci's is the first place that came to mind, and while walking around on the hill we stopped in for a menu.  The smell alone was enough for my mother.

I can't agree more with Andrea on this; the service is incredibly friendly.  Plates, napkins, forks, whatever we needed that we didn't think of, they asked and delivered.

The ingredients are essential to their success and as a recent vegetarian, I'm seriously grateful to the business for taking that leap.  The cheese is made from milk from grass-fed cows, add in domestic fresh tomatoes, fresh local basil, and sea salt, you can't go wrong.

As for the pizza itself:  the crust is crisp at first bite, with just the right amount of chewy to keep things interesting.  The flavor of the crust is perfectly balanced, not overstated, but also not so forgotten that it is simply a vehicle for the toppings.

For a couple of New Yorkers needing nourishment and a touch of celebration, Pagliacci's really raised the bar.

I adore pizza and this place was excellent. Poofy, warm, delicious crust; just... enough... sauce... and the perfect amount of cheese! I'm recently back to my childhood love for plain cheese pizza. This is the only place we visited on our vacation more than once. For one, it was half a block from our hotel and two, it really was that good. The pepperoni pizza looked great the night I got the cheese pizza so we went back for it the next day. And they had a lovely beer selection for the very wonderful beer drinker in my life called boyfriend. I can't remember what kind of pizza he ordered. It was a couple weeks ago now.

Clean, friendly staff.  Awesomely clean restroom. Saw all kinds of people, families, couples, singles, etc. and it felt like home for everyone which I though was really cool.  Would definitely go back and definitely recommend this place to others.

This is an excellent delivery kitchen and an excellent company overall. I work at a different Pagliacci but live in Eastlake, so this is my go-to location.

I might be biased because of this, but I honestly order Pagliacci for myself fairly often, even though Romio's is a block a way and cheaper. The delivery itself is always prompt, the phone staff always friendly, and the quality of the food has yet to disappoint.

Those who complain about pricing should know that it is due to the quality of the food- Each Pagliacci makes their own sauce in-store regularly, use gourmet ingredients and put quality before anything else. You most certainly get what you pay for, and those "other places" can't even come close (in all aspects...trust me, I've worked at those places too, unfortunately).

A few words come to mind when I think of Pagliacci:   Overrated, below average, pretentious, poor service.

The pizza is soggy on top and overly chewy on bottom.  The were rude on the phone and it is overpriced.

You are better off going with a Pizza hut than this place, and that is no joke

The best pizza in town.  I love their seasonal special pizzas, but also the old standbys, such as mushroom and black olives, or pepperoni and anchovy.  Their Pagliacio salad is good too.

The one drawback -- their delivery service doesn't serve Madrona.

This really is some of the best pizza in town. They have the best sauce, and it makes all the difference. I've been eating Pagliacci since I was about 11 years old and they've never let me down. They're very popular, which by nature leads to dissenters. Just try it.. I'm telling you - the sauce!

Pagliacci is good- not great- but I still like it.  I stopped in here for a Pagliaccio salad last week and felt compelled to sum up my experience with them over the years.  Pagliacci may not be up to East Coast pizza standards but it's pretty tasty.  It was my go-to delivery pizza for a long time (when I did pizza delivery more frequently).  Their delivery service is pretty reliable and the drivers are usually sweet and personable- even the hapless fellow whose car was stolen from in front of my college house in the U-district circa 1998.  Lately, I just don't know. The crust just bothers me and the sauce-to-cheese ratio is off.   It's more like 3.5 stars but I'm rounding down because I just had really, really good pizza this weekend and realized what I've been missing (more on that later).  As much Pagliacci as I've put away in the last 13 years, I've really only loved it a handful of times, and those were times I lucked into a fantastic seasonal Primo or decided to brave the garlic and get the AGOG.  The AGOG and many of the other Primo pies get 4 stars, but it's still 3 overall.  The Pagliaccio salad is pretty tasty, but can be inconsistent in quality of ingredients.

it was ok pizza.  nowhere near a five star.  Service was great, it was delivered quickly so no beef about that  but for a local pizza joint i want something that i want more than dominos, and this didnt do it.  It had all the elements, the crust was nice, you could see they use good toppings it was missing any real taste.  Maybe i got it on a bad day.  But we ordered two pies, and neither of them wowed us the least bit.  That being said they weren't bad, just i was expecting more from the other reviews.  This was not the kind of pizza that I crave, and for me maybe that makes a 4 and 5 star place.  in terms of service and all that stuff, that gets a 5.  pie only a 3. and I will try it again at some point.

Have convinced fiance that we must either find a location near us or trek down here for pick up, since our place is far outside their delivery zone.

Feeling low?  Feeling a bit unloved?  Call Pag's and get treated like a friend.  Really.  The phone folks are so friendly and warm and courteous and helpful, it's only a bonus that they will make magic happen: pizza fresh and delicious, delivered to your door, with trustworthy ingredients, just the way you like it.  And if they deliver the wrong pizza, call them and they'll make it right.  Pag's is magic in a phone call.

I had this today and I really wanted to like it, considering how pricey it was, but it just didn't do it for me. The sauce was good but there was barely any on the pizza. The cheese was just okay, again not much there, and the toppings weren't anything special.  I had the hawaiian, and won't be ordering it again that's for sure!
